It was a unique experience, I'm glad I did it but once was enough. The meal that we bought at an additional price was excellent and good value. Tv and wifi were nice features at a camping venue. It was glorified camping, the ammenities were far from the tipis and the wood provided was surely not meant to provide coals to last the night.

This is a very unique setting! Where else can you stay in a real Teepee on the Montana high prarie outside of Glacier National Park? The owners/hosts were very very nice and accomodating. Wood was provided for the fire (in the center of the Teepee which is traditional) and the bathrooms were clean and well maintained. This is a small venue with only 6-8 Teepees so there is no crowd even if they are at full capacity. Great view of the surounding hills. And, you can even enjoy a homemade meal which looks very tasty (although we arrived late and so did not eat dinner there - but we did see what was served and it looked first class!) I highly reccommend this location. The city of Browning is a little scary. Lodgepole Gallery is a couple of miles out of town (towards Glacier Park) so skip Browning unless you need fuel - and then refuel during the daylight hours.

The experience of spending the night on the Blackfeet Reservation with good people. Very enjoyable. Gopher holes in the tipi area.

We'd never before experienced an authentic tipi! We weren't quite expecting the camping-out aspect - it's authentic. The facilities (good shower) were away up the hillside. I have an intimate acquaintance with the ground - an inch of foam didn't do much to obscure my experience of rocks. I'm getting too old for this!

Rude owner, poorly constructed tipi causing unbearable smoke from a tiny fire. (In a well constructed tipi, fires are used all the time) and the poles were bent so the canvas was not tight-you can only imagine the noise from the very high winds in that area. Extremely over-priced. We had to stay on the floor of the reception room, and for this honor, was charged an additional $15.00, added to our credit card after we left.
