The hotel staff were all very accommodating. I received help getting my babies & all our bags out of the car & up to our room. They were kind enough to bring a fridge to our room for my daughters' milk, free of any additional charges. Almost all NYC hotels charge for all extras. They gave us directions to a few nearby restaurants we wanted to try. & lastly, they kept our bags even after we checked out, so that we could get more done without having to get our car from the garage. Had a wonderful stay. Will return. We asked for a non-smoking room. The room was lovely, but stunk of stale cigarettes. So bad in fact, that all my clothing (unworn) from my suitcase smelled when I got home. Also, was not made aware that they were undergoing construction throughout the main lobby of the hotel (I guess that's why we got our room for such a great price:). I also wish they would have a ramp out front. When we checked in, they didn't mind allowing me to use the entrance for the handicapped. However, when we checked out, I rang for assistance & the gentleman was hesitant to use his key to let me use it. He suggested I pick up my double stroller with my twin daughters in it & carry them down the stairs.

Clean and modern hotel...it was much nicer than I expected! I've stayed in pricier hotels in nyc and Hotel Lola was just as good if not better. The room was a good size and the location was very convenient. The staff at the front desk as well as at the bar were friendly and helpful and gave us some great recommendations! I would definitely stay again!

The hotel is an amazing tucked away Gem as you enter it you feel transformed from the busy city and quietly nestled into a chic boutique hotel. The vibe is very inviting and staff seem ultra cool and uber accommodating.

Room and bathroom were clean and sharp. Decor in the hotel was great, I feel as if I should have enjoyed it while there...but I was on insane itinerary. Great spot, fantastic price, will stay again.

Room was very clean. Furniture, walls, carpet, and fixtures appeared to be brand new, as if newly renovated. Price was excellent-- you won't find a hotel room that nice for that low a price anywhere in Manhattan. Hotel staff was very friendly-- they even gave me a free upgrade from the Single Classic to the Standard. Lobby/bar/lounge area was beautiful-- very stylish and elegant. There was no view from the window, just a wall. Also sink in adjoining room was very loud when turned on or off. Room was pretty small, but not any smaller than what you'd find anywhere else in ny.

Our stay at Hotel lola was wonderful. My daughter and I stayed at the hotel to celebrate our birthdays in nyc. The hotel is very close to the subway but walking is also a very nice option. There are plenty of nice and quaint restaurants in the area and we also opted for breakfast at Zana's which was very convenient. The hotel is nicely decorated and I loved the music they played in the lobby. If you are looking for a chic place to stay with very comfortable beds, this is the place for you. Thanks Hotel lola, maybe we will see you next year.

The lobby is dark, like a pub. When we arrived at the hotel, with all the luggage, there was no bell man or any staff came over to help us. There was no coffee maker in the room for boiling water, despite begging the front desk for one, there was still no available coffee marker. The hotel suggested that we could obtain hot water from the hotel restaurant. During our stay at the hotel, we have to make a few trips to the restaurant to beg for hot water to make milk for our children. The hotel is horrible.

Small but very well-designed room, modern, clean and comfortable. Wifi should be free, not $14 per day.

The location was perfect, very near to the Empire State building, the Flatiron district, the East Side and the number 6 subway that took you up and down the length of Manhatten. It is disappointing that in this day and age there is not free WIFI in the hotel. New York is not a city to sit in your room, so it would not be overused by guests, however, it does limit people sitting in the bar when they can go round the corner to Starbucks and spend money there and get free WiFi. There was noisy plumming in our room, which was not a big turnoff but slightly annoying when the rest of the hotel was good. The shower does not have the greatest pressure, but again not a massive issue!

The only complaint we have is that our rooms were not made up for the 3 days we were there. The cleaning service did not come around until around 5pm in the evening and we were back in our rooms at this stage. Usually the cleaning services take place in hotels before noon, perhaps this is the way it is done in New York Hotels.

The location in lower Manhattan was good, a 15 minute walk to Rockefeller Center and just two blocks from the subway for access to farther sights. Coffee shops and good deli's were very close to the hotel. The desk staff were very helpful and friendly. I would have liked to have had in-room coffee available. I did not like having to pay an internet charge just to check in for my flight and print my boarding pass. My other hotels had business rooms that did not charge for that service.
