Big room. High speed wifi. Excellent location
I love the location! Everyone who works there is friendly and helpful!! I like having the restaurant there..
Our room 809 was large and clean, but a very small old bathroom..Also a little more could be included in the breakfast..
Spacious room for NYC in a great central location; TV included multiple HBO channels including on demand
Deluxe King room for 3 required a rollaway bed which had a poor mattress
We booked a one bedroom suite and had a very nice size apartment with a large living room and bedroom, large bathroom, powder room and fully equipped kitchen.
The renovation .
Great location if you want to be on mid-upper East side. We opted for a junior king suite when the price was just $3 over the regular king room. What a nice treat! Lovely room with a beautiful kitchen! We felt like we had our own little apartment in Manhattan! Even the lobby is like an intimate apartment building rather than a hotel. The restaurant, Harlow, is a wonderful spot. Great stay.
Location and room size.
noise from works being done in the neighboring room, inexistence of items in the ice-box ( payable ) for immediate use. Bath-room size. Extremely simple ( poor ) free morning breakfast.
like home away from home, in terrific location.
bathroom vanity falling apart. shower head was broken -- pressure so great and unadjustable, it blew curtain off the pole. [when told, hotel promptly fixed the problem.]
Two large televisions, but the system was maddeningly difficult to operate
You can hear the ppl from the street
Having the doorman watch me carry a heavy suitcase down the entry steps.
Atencion, decoracion, confort y situado muy bien.
The Wifi doesn't work very well. Also cannot get online, in the room.
The location was great.
My friends were on another floor and had nicer rooms for the same $. This may have been because I requested a feather free room due to a life threatening allergy to duck feathers. The room was spacious but the mattress was horrible. The bedspread had stains on it. When I went downstairs to complain, the night desk manager actually asked me if I wanted to check out if I was not happy with the bed. This was his offering At 1:30 am? He also told me I was the only person in 22 years that complained about the mattress. I felt he was rude and disrespectful of my concerns. His last suggestion was for the doorman to go up with me and try the bed to see if I was correct. I am 60 years old, well-travelled, and have never experienced anything like this in my life.
Very large room, excellent bathroom, nice view, good hotel in every respect. Highly recommended.
rather hard bed
The hotel is clean, reasonably priced considering it is in NYC, close to a number of sightseeing spots and T train stations. Highly recommended
The only negative aspect of this hotel was that the staff member at the reception didn't even stop his (personal?) phone call to welcome us.
Stay was comfortable and the staff was friendly.
Very high quality, comfortable room.
Nothing to dislike.
Clean, nicely decorated studio. Good space, well equipped kitchenette. Not much street noise. Felt at home!
Not cheap, but value for money
Staff very freindly , good service . large rooms with kitchen' very good location
Rooms facing the back of buillding which has 7-8 big ventilators have a lot of noise at night
Very atentive at the reception desk.
the continental breakfast is very poor
Ultra comfortable and spacious studio. It is certainly like a home away from home. The staff were very friendly and most welcoming. The position of the hotel is great for everywhere you want to go, uptown and downtown. Within walking distance of MOMA, Saks and Bloomingdales.
It would have been nice to include some basic room service..
-location -clean and well equiped rooms -reasonable pricing -helpful staff
-no restaurant available at any time of the day
We returned to this hotel for three nightsafter two nights away in Maryland and we where pleasantly surprised witha wonderful upgrade in a beutiful setting. Thank you staff.
