The very good front desk and housekeeping. Ask for the of the new rooms.
Breakfast is very basic and in a very cold and draughty room.
We have stayed here year after year and always look forward to its comfortable home away from home ambiance and wonderful location of Park Avenue elegance. The staff is efficient and unobtrusive. The suites are different from one another but well appointed with efficient kitchenette facilities.
The confort of the bed and the location
-There is no breakfast. They gave you "voucher" to get ONE beverage and ONE pastry (this is ridiculous for this price) -The Wi-Fi in the room is wonky and there is no wired network as it was mentioned on the hotel profile -Bath products (gel, shampoo) are not always provided, you have to make sure you threw them in the trash so you can have new ones (if a drop was remaining in your current, they will let you with it because you still have some)...
The staff was very pleasant and professional
There was no vanity top in the bathroom--very difficult to put on make up.
Room layout and amenities were very functional and comfortable. Voucher for continental breakfast very convenient.
Room furniture was mediocre grade.
Nice rooms, beautiful balcony, cozy nice little kitchen, great views
Somewhat old AC system, which is kind of difficult to control. But overall, it wasn't really a serious issue, so I did not even report it.
Location and room size
Near central park, easy walk to attractions, MET, Modern Art, Natural History, Times & Rockefeller Squares, Tourist traps, etc. Shops nearby. Out of the absolute bustle of downtown.
Amazing breakfast pastry. A hitel with personality! It seems you are in that 60's style, all renew but still with carachter.
staff, comfort, location make sure you get card from front desk for coffee and pastry
Location, amenities !
Lack of room service,
everything is perfect, Lombardy Hotel was the best trip
Location, staff, and prices.
Small bathroom without walk-in shower. Elevator noise in apartment. Have been here many times and had wonderful spaces but found this suite a bit tacky.
room was huge, staff was nice.
Burger takeout place recommended by staff was not good at all. Waited almost 40 minutes for valet to bring my car (they brought the wrong car twice).
Location room size staff and the facilities
Big room. High speed wifi. Excellent location
I love the location! Everyone who works there is friendly and helpful!! I like having the restaurant there..
Our room 809 was large and clean, but a very small old bathroom..Also a little more could be included in the breakfast..
Spacious room for NYC in a great central location; TV included multiple HBO channels including on demand
Deluxe King room for 3 required a rollaway bed which had a poor mattress
We booked a one bedroom suite and had a very nice size apartment with a large living room and bedroom, large bathroom, powder room and fully equipped kitchen.
The renovation .
Great location if you want to be on mid-upper East side. We opted for a junior king suite when the price was just $3 over the regular king room. What a nice treat! Lovely room with a beautiful kitchen! We felt like we had our own little apartment in Manhattan! Even the lobby is like an intimate apartment building rather than a hotel. The restaurant, Harlow, is a wonderful spot. Great stay.
Location and room size.
noise from works being done in the neighboring room, inexistence of items in the ice-box ( payable ) for immediate use. Bath-room size. Extremely simple ( poor ) free morning breakfast.
like home away from home, in terrific location.
bathroom vanity falling apart. shower head was broken -- pressure so great and unadjustable, it blew curtain off the pole. [when told, hotel promptly fixed the problem.]
Two large televisions, but the system was maddeningly difficult to operate
