The hotel is clean, reasonably priced considering it is in NYC, close to a number of sightseeing spots and T train stations. Highly recommended
The only negative aspect of this hotel was that the staff member at the reception didn't even stop his (personal?) phone call to welcome us.
Stay was comfortable and the staff was friendly.
Very high quality, comfortable room.
Nothing to dislike.
Clean, nicely decorated studio. Good space, well equipped kitchenette. Not much street noise. Felt at home!
Not cheap, but value for money
Staff very freindly , good service . large rooms with kitchen' very good location
Rooms facing the back of buillding which has 7-8 big ventilators have a lot of noise at night
Very atentive at the reception desk.
the continental breakfast is very poor
Ultra comfortable and spacious studio. It is certainly like a home away from home. The staff were very friendly and most welcoming. The position of the hotel is great for everywhere you want to go, uptown and downtown. Within walking distance of MOMA, Saks and Bloomingdales.
It would have been nice to include some basic room service..
-location -clean and well equiped rooms -reasonable pricing -helpful staff
-no restaurant available at any time of the day
We returned to this hotel for three nightsafter two nights away in Maryland and we where pleasantly surprised witha wonderful upgrade in a beutiful setting. Thank you staff.
Location and large room and bed!
Poor equipment at the kitchen.
Hotel a bit old and needs some refurbishing. However we had a good stay, very amicable staff. The espresso bar dowstairs is heaven, good coffee
Size of our room and decor Friendly helpful staff Location
Aircon in room v poor and rudimentary Aircon inside room and outside building v noisy and sleep disturbing
Location. Comfort of the room. Cleaness. Great Place
Did not have WiFi access. Noisy ongoing construction on site
Very good location
Cut off at 10 am for free coffee.
Some of the staff was very friendly Rooms were very spacious Excellent amenities in the rooms
Internet connection was unstable Rooms may vary in quality/decoration but not in price
This time Room was attractive & staff very helpful
Lack of comfortable place in hotel for breakfast Not all rooms are renovated so one takes a gamble with reservation. Old ones can be dreadful
great location Rooms are large and comfortable. the staff is helpful and knowledgeable.
does not have a full range of hotel amenities, but this is not critical.
The doorman was very helpful
Our room was very dark and ver small
the location, the room big and convenient, 2 closets with a safe box. A small but very functional kitchenette with refrigerator, a small oven, microwave, tea cattle, glasses and plates.
there was a continental breakfast very stingy, without butter or any jam. No juice. Just cruasson with a cup of coffee. For the price we had paid for the staying, the hotel could give us a more "rich" breakfast. There was not a hand shower in the bath. Sometimes a person need to wash only his intimate places and there is no need to take a big shower.
facilities a little dated
The non-room service was a delivery from an unnamed nearby restaurant. It was ample, inexpensive, and tasty. Liked it a lot. The suite was very roomy and artfully decorated with interesting art. Lovely little kitchen with enough dishes, glasses and flatware. But no coffee.
But the food was delivered it to the room by the bellman, who pocketed the tip. And they wouldn't deliver liquor to our room. The chairs were nice, but not very comfortable for me. The lamps were interesting, but we had to ask the engineer how to turn them on. We figured out the various faucets, but we sure had to figure them out.
