The price

Had to use cell phone to call front desk to register, etc. The did not have my reservation, I had to show them my printed copy. Room was dirty. Staff unlocked door and came into room while I was in bed.

We recieved excelent service and a very friendly atmosphere. The room was clean, quiet, comfortable and relaxing. Great location and great price!

I arrived late at night and stayed until the morning. The worker was very courteous and provided a lot of information about Southampton. I would go back

Place is very dirty, cocroches are all over the place, even in refregirator! i spilled water on the floor and started swiping with bownty, the bownty came out black! That is how "clean" is the room!. The manager/owner tried to get more money from us,when we checked out!!!

It was peaceful and had lots of nature around. The room was not fancy but clean and large and a great value for the money

The price was not too high.

1. The price quoted and guaranteed by booking.com was not honored by the owner of the motel and is now in dispute. 2. The room was a very poor quality, even having holes in the main wall of the bedroom. 3. The bathroom (toilet) needed a plunger in order to use it 2 times. 4. No phone in the room. 5. Because the bathroom is poorly ventilated, there was green mold on the shower walls and a foul odor in that room particularly. 6. The bedspreads were quite soiled.

Location was good (3~4 miles from the beach),

The facilities were terrible (ex: refrigirator was so old, and bathroom sink was cracked, ....).

The bathroom was not clean and in poor repair: large crack in bathroom counter, rust on all metal on radiator, etc. Mildew in bathtub grout areas. Shower curtain was stained and not a true waterproof curtain, but more the outside decorative cover. Refrigerator was grungy, old and rusted on outside. Tv was crt and small. Most important: no interior chain lock on door, and someone tried to come into the room in the middle of the night. Apparently the manager gave him our room key, not knowing the room was occupied. We were startled and woke up in the middle of the night and luckily, I could slam the door shut before the person entered the room.

easy check in and out. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was large with full size fridge, and plenty of counter space. Also had a large tv, air conditioning and decent size bathroom. It was very quiet, and close to Route 27.

The beds featured as "Queen" were really double beds. SOme spider webs in the corners in the bathroom.

My family enjoyed the quaintness...the quiet...the owner/operater was very friendly and acomodating...it wasn't far from the beach we were going to in Montauk...it was a really nice experience...as my wife put it...lovely...we will definitely like to go back and spend more time there next summer...

There really wasn't anything I didn't like about it...it's my understanding that Naeem just took over the hotel five months ago...I Think he's doing a great job at running this place for such a late start in the season...I Think he's goOing to. Really have a good run with Longview resort hotel..

the bad motel that I never saw in my life......everything was old dirty

I was looking to get away for a night and relax after a difficult week of work. The Longview has the most relaxing setup. It is set back and is so quiet. There were comfortable outdoor seating areas that were perfect for sitting back and reading a book. The location is close enough to downtown Southampton and the beach but removed enough that you really feel like you are out in the country. The room was spacious and clean and I can't say enough about how accommodating owners were. I intend to return and recommend to friends and family.

We found this place in a last minute, and I have to say it was a great experience. The owner is a great guy, he was really helpful from the first minute we get there. The room was perfect for both of us, they also have air conditioning which wasnt even mentioned at the description of the room, so that was a great suprise. The other thing is that is always somebody at the reception, so if you forget your keys, or you need anything asap, they will help you out. I know a lot of place they dont have nobody there, which can cause problems. The room was super clean, I loved the porch and it was such an amazing feeling to stay out at nite, it was really quiet, fresh air, I really fell in love with it. We will go back for sure. Thanks for everything Naheem, u r the greatest!!!!

Large fairly clean rooms

Furniture looked like it came from a thrift store. TV a hundred years old. No maid service, even though there was a maid and we left open one set of shades as requested. Very expensive for what it was, i.e. large room fairly clean room but nothing else

Unclean beds and strange looking area

not much, but the location is quite good--close and set back so noise is minimal

It seems to me that I was taken advantage of by the motel manager. The price on line was $189. The fellow claimed that taxes took the total to $244. Taxes equal $55 on a $189 room?! Highly unlikely, but it was very late and my guests needed to get some sleep. Sure seems like shameful behavior. Mattess was hard per one of my guests, but that is secondary.

I'm disappointed because I was quoted a total price on book-it and it cost $30.00 more when I got there. When asked about the price difference was told it was taxes. What are you supposed to do. Hotel was okay. It was much less than other places. It was a little dated but it was clean.
