The hotels whole system was down and we couldn’t use credit card to buy any thing at the hotel, we also couldn’t get any room keys and had to find a staff member to unlock our room every time we wanted to access our room. Then they closed down our lobby so I had to walk next door to another hotel to find a staff member to unlock the door. Our room smelled like mold and it was over all an horrible experience for our spring break.
Booking.com never returned my phone call as promised and I will never use them again.

Key West is a gem of an island in the Florida Keys, popular with pleasure seekers and history buffs alike. As the most southern destination in the continental United States, Key West has a fascinating history, dating back to its settlement by Spanish explorers in the 16th century.
Today this little island off the coast of Florida attracts over a million cruise visitors a year through the Port of Key West. Visitors come to see Hemingway House, where Ernest Hemingway penned ‘A Farewell to Arms’. Key West Cemetery provides a unique walk through the multicultural past of the city. There are also trolley rides through the historic district of Jackson Square.
There’s more than just history to Key West, however. Smathers Beach is a place to have fun in the sun, while Mallory Square provides the chance to shop and watch a magnificent sunset. The excellent bus system helps you get around the island without a car.
Key West International Airport is a mere 6 kilometres to Duval Street, the heart of the city centre and a good place to stay for easily exploring the nearby sites. With accommodation ranging from resorts to B&Bs, Booking.com helps you get the best stay for the best price in Key West!
Loved the culture and friendliness of the people.
Bicycles were great to get around on.
Best activity was the sea plane to the Dry Tortugas. A little pricey, but so well worth it! Highly recommend.

Key West is gorgeous and rich with history.
Key West is gorgeous and rich with history. I would call it less of a conventional beach town, as the beaches are sparse and man made because of the whole island thing. If you love the water then this is the place. Boats, jet skis, snorkeling and more are all available for you to enjoy and Duval Street is full of shopping, restaurants and bars. There are some very unique vendors with one of a kind items and lots of art appreciation from the locals. The beach stores are a little over priced on some of their beach wares, which is typical, but there is no shortage of cute and original boutiques. Rent a scooter or a golf cart when you get there. It is the best way to travel while you are there.

There are so many things to do in Key West. Tons of historic sites, great beaches and views, and obviously Duval Street. Definitely check out taking a day trip to Dry Tortugas to see the National Park and do some snorkeling!!! Memorable sunsets at Mallory Square. We definitely will be back, as we ran out of time to cover it all.

Sun, fun and oh so much to see, do and eat!
Sun, fun and oh so much to see, do and eat! We enjoyed Duval Street and all it had to offer. We ate at Seaside Cafe (my favorite was lobster pizza and the Mojiots). We took the ferry to Latitudes on Sunset Key, it was absolutely amazing. The food and the ambiance was phenomenal. Please be advised, reservations well in advance are required. We visited all the hot spots for drinks and entertainment. We loved breakfast at TwoFriends and Big Cheezies. You can walk or ride bikes all over. We did not rent a car but did rent a golf cart one day. That was fun and we felt safe the entire time.

Beautiful place to visit.
Beautiful place to visit. We really enjoyed the tours we took. A great place to eat was Rams Head Southernmost restaurant. Very generous portions and a great atmosphere. Pizza Joe's also had really good pizza by the slice. We found the best way to get around was to use Uber or walking. There is no parking and the traffic is very heavy. We drove to Key West but next time we would fly in and use Uber to get around.
This was an emergency reservation, made the night before Thanksgiving for Thanksgiving (1 night) as we were trying to get out of a lousy hotel (Marriott Waterfront). Ambrosia made us feel extra welcome, the room on the 2nd floor was lovely (Room 108) , public parking nearby and at a very reasonable price ($10/day). Quiet location but totally central; we could not have asked for a better place. Should we go back to Key West, we will be checking them first!!!!!!
The hotel is the BEST location in Key West. It is a bit old, but worth staying there for sure. The staff is very very nice. "Truth" yes that is his name at the front desk is incredible. Best customer service. Very very nice person. The manager is "Robert" - again very very nice. Helpful. Was very accommodating with my request for a 2 hour late checkout. The valet staff were amazing. Took really good care of my car. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel.
Lovely hotel, wouldnt stay here again though as the security that was on late at night ruined our whole stay, he was. So rude because we lost a key and had to knock at the door, screaming and shouting at us ok a power trip, Paul blart mall cop is what he was like, a ridiculous man who needs to get a job away from customer service instead of of threatening to leave 2 girls in the middle of key west at 3am.
We had one night in Key West, and this hotel was perfect for our needs. Friendly staff, nice pool, lots of towels. great a/c and a spacious and comfortable room for our family of 3. Our teenager found the sofa bed very comfortable. The hotel breakfast was one of the best we've had--omelette's made to order in addition to a continental breakfast were an apprecaited addition.
Beautiful hotel with gorgeous views. Our room & bath were both large and tastefully decorated. The sofa & bed were very comfy. Nice guest laundry on 3rd floor was handy. ALL the staff were very friendly & responsive. Loved the hydration station with free bottled water. Great pool, beach access & Tiki Bar. They have plenty of self-parking for those of us who drove to Key West.
It was a wonderful Key West style hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is simple yet a wonderful addition to the stay. We opted for a queen room, but next time, I would get a king. Rooms were nice in size with a refrigerator. The bathroom was my only complaint it was so small. I'll definitely stay here again. It was a nice quiet area.
Great hotel in a great location, far enough away from the Duval Street craziness in quiet surroundings but central enough to be in walking distance to basically everywhere in the historic Key West district, restaurants and waterfront. Azur is an amazing on-site restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
Great location in calm of neighbourhood but easy walking access to the main locations. Hotel was very responsive to questions and helped out to fix lighting. Local bakery supplies breakfast. Each room has its own balcony to sit out. Try to hit happy hour for drinks and food in Key West.
Leo, Jason,Seth, and Kate the bartenders were all awesome!! The room key bracelets are a fantastic idea! Luann, Johnny, and Bob the shuttle drivers were all cool too. They taught us a lot about Key West just on the drives to and from the hotel.
Lovely hotel in a great location to explore Key West. The room is up to modern standards and has comfortable beds. Pool area is nice and clean. Great breakfast with enough choices for everyone if you don’t expect a full continental breakfast.
Very comfortable hotel in an old charming house with a lovely pool area, in the heart of Key West.
Excellent value for the money.
A tasty breakfast with waffles and muffins to mention a few. Private parking is available for 25 USD per day.
One of the greatest places with ever been to
hotel manager went out of his way to make sure that we enjoy our stay and everything works perfectly
we are sure to return whenever we have a chance to come to Key West
The hotel is nice and was actually a good experience. Everything else in Key West can be reached from there by car, bicycle or on foot. The breakfast was good, staff was nice. WiFi worked well.
We only slept here one night. Quite an expensive hotel, but that's Key West. Close to many restaurants, about half an hour's walk to the center. Possibility to rent bicycles (for a fee).
I’d like having a parking at the hotel included. The shuttle services to the beach and downtown was a plus. Service above expected. Thanks dore making it a great experience. Key West🫶
Hotel was quaint and located fairly close to the main attractions in Key West. breakfast was included and was of good quality. Liked our room and the general atmosphere of the hotel.
Hotel was near the Key West attractions we wanted to see and the wedding beach location even though the beach location changed after the reservations were made.
The hotel has great location close to Duval street and most of the attractions in Key West. The rooms are centered around the pool and it has a feeling of home.
