Americas Best Value Inn Louisville    

Location was pretty good. Accessible to most of downtown. Staff (big black guy) was really really helpful, professional, friendly. We were in town for a mini-vacation, as we live a few hours away. We knew where we wanted to dine, but were unfamiliar with nightlife. He directed us to several local favorites, providing great advice and accurate, specific information.

Shower head is in a fixed position, would not move. It aimed over my head. I couldn't even shower!

It was way better than I expected. I stayed at worse places for twice as much money. No complaints at all, will stay again.

The staff was very friendly,very clean.

Our room was next to the front desk. We heard doors slaming several times during the night, people talking loud. However we would stay there again,but not near the desk.

Close to Texas Roadhouse so could get a good meal

It was awful the whole place smelled bad, the sink was stopped up, the lamps broken very dirty, the neighborhood where located was unsafe, it was very muggy feeling. It's not a place I would recommend to anyone.

Not crowded. The decor is pleasant. The staff is friendly. The price is right.

I felt unsafe staying in a motel where somebody can enter in the middle of the night without being noticed. Worried about our car being broken into at night. Doors slam hard when guests leave.

It was budget friendly.

The bed was very uncomfortable. Me and my husband tossed and turned all night. We did not sleep well at all. There was a marijuana smell in the hallway and the room next to ours was very noisy. I will not recommend that particular location to anyone.

Nice rooms , good value and close to the features of Louisville that we were most interested in.

We felt that the rooms could have been cleaned a little better, ours was clean but there was room for improvement.

The hotel was located very close to the event I was attending.

They overcharged my credit card. They gave me a receipt for $158.77 and charged my credit card $317.44. The issue has not yet been resolved.

TV was old. Breakfast was sparse.

The lady working the desk in the evening (Kelly) was extremely helpful and courteous. I enjoyed talking with her.

Breakfast left a lot to be desired.

The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast bar was small but it worked. My room was quiet and could not tell there were other guest in the room next to mine.

From time of booking and getting there a name changed happened and their was no pool. I was downgraded rooms because the AC did not work in the one King room and other king rooms were booked yet I booked a month in advance. My other room for family was horrible and they had to change room two times and then the last morning a new guest walked into their room while they were sleeping because the hotel gave him the key to that room as well.

Quiet location and a nice little breakfast in the morning. Withiin minutes to all the fun.

Disappointing upon arrival (Clerk with attitude). We arrived to check in and were told our room, that we reserved several months before, was not available. We were told the person in our room decided to stay longer. I have always been told when I reserved a room that I had to be out by a certain day if it had previously been booked by someone else. The desk clerk stated let me see what is available. She says, so we have a room with 2 queen beds instead of what you reserved. We had no choice and nothing was even offered for our inconvenience. When we went to the assigned room we found it was not even clean, the bathroom was a mess and the beds were striped with the bedding piled on chairs. Not organized with the customers comfort in mind.
