the bed is too soft
I really like the convenience of being close the NYC and there are a lot of shopping in the area.......
The WiFi was horrible and I had to change my room and the couch was stained and so was the carpet .... Then they tried to charge me twice because the front desk checkled me out instead of checking me in
Loved the location and all convenience associated. Lobby staff was great help. Mall and restaurant basically next door. convenient parking. Bus right across street, great hours.
The walk from parking garage if u didn't get to park in front u had to go around corner. Not enough clear instructions and the walk back made me nervous. It was well lit but I wasn't sure where to go once I parked. Indoor like a catwalk or walk through garage
They charged my card six times wasn't to happy
I could not find one positive thing to say about this hotel. Do not stay here. Dirty, poor customer service, and run down. Came to my room at the end of the night and was locked out for two hours. Their staff and handy man could not get it open. They just left me waiting. Every time I went to the lobby they were standing around talking rather than helping. Awful place.
the staff,size of the room,tvs,services,bed,
the rooms smell too much smoke of cigar, the pillows is dirty, the air of the outside enter through the window and where this the air conditioning.the breakfast.
Wifi didn't work. There was no kitchen in room just a microwave, coffee pot and fridge station.
Close to first bus stop in this area, no fail to get on bus.
Location. Everytime bus was crowded, in particular return from NYC at where so long line to get on bus. There was always traffic jam.
Breakfast and parking
Called for room service several times and had to go get my self. Bathroom was nasty holes in shower curtain nasty stuff under shower mat (as to hasn't been cleaned in years). Rooms doors were cracked carpet was nasty.
The staff were fantastic and friendly
The bathroom facilities were old and poor. It had the worst facilities I had seen in a lA quinta property which are usually very good.
Located opposite to the bus stop, surrounded by good restaurants, quite place
Insufficient hot water basic breakfast
the TV's and wifi were great.
instructions to hotel okay but the surrounding parkways had very poor direction signs and were very confusing.the hotel itself, the room smelled of cleaning materials, no extra blankets, the towels felt like sand paper, no vent fan in the bathroom, there were several stains on the rug and the couch, felt like I couldn't walk in me bear feet without catching something. One hostess could not even give us directions to ground zero via car and didn't even try to find out. One day we came back to the room around 4PM and the room still had not been cleaned and bed not made needless to say I would never stay at LaQuinta hotels again.
location and bed were awesome
bathroom towels were dirty
Initially sent to a room that was already occupied. When just did get to the correct room it was filthy. The front desk just said we're sorry for your inconvenience and did nothing to make it better.
The hotel room was very clean, and the staff was very nice and accommodating. The bus stop to NYcity was right outside the hotel and ran often.
The TV in our room was not working and the water system was very noisy.
Easy to get New York by Bus.
Pool, bed covering, old towels, customer service
The room, sitting room, and great breakfast.
The breakfast was very good. I liked that the bus stop is right in front of the hotel. It's a 40 minute ride to Port Authority (cost 4$ -one way), which is two blocks away from Times Square. The room is very big and comfortable. It is a good alternative if you can't afford Manhattan. If you want a good place to sleep it's OK, if you want something more...
First of all if you land on JFK nobody knows were this hotel is and how to get there. So, if you want to take a cab it's about 170-180$, or you can take the bus that takes you to Port Authority (32$) and from there you take the 320 bus to the hotel (4$). From the Newark airport the taxi is about 55$, or the hotel's shuttle can take you to the train station and the ticket is about 20$. The hotel staff is not very helpful. One of the elevators wasn't working when we stayed the first time, and when we came back 6 days later it was the same. The pool and the fittnes area are a joke.
Travelled november 2014 with friends. Staff was perfect Eileen made it memorable! Breakfast was included and excellent! Shuttle & bus. Right in front!! Free parking & wifi!!! Loved it
There's a bus stop in front of the hotel that is the best and fluent connection for Manhattan that you can find in the area. The best and cheap solution for travellers that don't wanna stay in the city and need a long-term parking to leave the rental car
Wi-Fi connection in the room doesn't work well as in the hotel hall
Great location could see empire state building from room, fridge and microwave included breakfast buffet was amazing
Slow service by maitre d, not enough shampoo and body wash supplied, no sheets or blanket supplied for pull out couch. No free shuttle
THE LOCATION IS GREAT .... YOU SCTUALLY HAVE EVERYRHING YOU NEED JUST A FEW STEPS AWAY ..... or the hotels shuttle which actually takes you where you wish to go and brings you back ... AL ARE VERY NICE AND HELPFULL .... ILEENE, front desk supervisor is THE SWEETEST ON EARTH ..... THE AREA IS SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL ....... for me, as i have been so many times in NEW YORK and i was sure it is the best, SECAUCUS was a lovely surprise ..... ... NO DOUPT I WILL COME VISIT .... SOON ......
THE HOTEL IS how should i put it gently ??? well ... it's the UGLIEST hotel i've ever been in ...... don't know why but it is like they had made all the bad decisions about decorating ...... .... GIVE ME 10 DAYS AND A NICE BUDGET AND I WOULD TURN IT UPSIDE DOWN AND MAKE IT AMAZING ....... ........ ......
Linen , towels worn
dirty air vents full of dust, bad for allergy sufferers. beds were lumpy. TOWELS..OMG...REALLY...VERY OLD. More like car rags
