consistently good service and quality of overall stay
business trips don't last long enough to take in paradise the way it should be.
Overall service and facilities, location
Parking fees very high
Fixed my room problem (noisy Aircond)
Maintenance staff danced around the problem until I became assertive
Only a 10 Min walk through a park to Waikiki Beach. Staff was very nice and helpful. We even got a microwave delivered to our room to warm the baby food ourselves.
The price/performance ratio is average at best. Valet Parking as the only option to park at the hotel (with the associated price tag). The pool is not the best in Hawaii (and photographed very well; it is actually on level 1 on a terrace).
The staff were friendly and very helpful. The bed was very comfortable. We were surrounded on three sides by parkland.
Our original room booked was close to the main road and on a lower level and the noise was quite loud, but we upgraded to a higher room on the Diamond Head side.
Close to Hale Koa. Clean, has kitchen in room with fridge, stove, microwave, and sink. Nice view of Waikiki from the balcony. Free coffee daily in the lobby from 0600 to 0900ish. Free towels to check out.
$35/Day for valet parking is a bit steep. Recommend using Hale Koa parking lot for $18/day (if get your ticket validated at Hale Koa bell desk). On a "one-way" street so not as easy to get to. Lot's of traffic.
Clean spacious room that has a small kitchenette equipped with a small coffee maker, fridge, sink and dishes if needed. The Luana is in walking distance to tons of shops and restaurants and to the beach.
Wish it had a microwave and a ceiling fan.
Staff was very pleasant. Beds were comfortable.
The tile floor in my room was dirty,
Nice park nearby
The air con was very noisy!!!
Great quiet location clean and ex ellenent staff.
The rooms need to be updated The shade pop ups around the pool need to be replaced in very poor condition. Also need a back gate to get to the beach a bit easier
Every thing was great .
Comfortable bed and good value for money
House Keeping a bit slack No music around poll
Location away from heavy crowds, closer to airport, quiet hotel
We were very pleased to stay and use all the facilities available in the hotel.Special thanks to the hotel's staff for the service and courtesy that they provided for us.
The only criticism is the level of noise produced by the airconditioner, especialy during night time.
Clean Room Kind People
Old systems and furniture Too slow Wi-Fi
This is THE place to stay on Waikiki! It sits in the middle of a park out of the tourist conjestion, yet restaurants and the beach are just a few blocks away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
Can't think of a thing!
All was enjoyable
Light bulb was blown and didnt look like the dishes were very clean.
The thoughtfulness of the staff!
Noisy motorcycles frequently on the street below.
It was convenient and easy to get around. It was really good value for money and the facilities were good. Loved the pool and ice machine!
The air conditioners at night time were really noisy so this detracted from a good night's sleep.
