This boutique hotel is located in downtown Portland, 5 minutes’ walk from the Portland Art Museum. A fire pit and furnished patio is available for guests. Rooms feature a flat-screen HD cable TV.
Score from 138 reviews Excellent
This hotel is at a good location if you enjoy walking around town. There is lots of shopping, as well as good places to eat. The river is only a few blocks away. The Penny Dinner that's connected to the hotel has some good breakfast sandwiches.
The cost of the room.....just didn't think there was anything special about my room. The bed was comfortable though.
location, location, location view from room photography on the walls of the room hallways
tiny bathroom sink
For this money I expected more comfort. The room was tiny and the bathroom was very cramped. The seating area in the hotel looked classy but the seats were very uncomfortable.
Welcoming, comfortable, right downtown
Location is very good - near Pioneer Square and shopping centres. Staff dealt efficiently with double booking. Interesting photos and décor.
Miniscule sink in a very small bathroom. Also very small bedroom area - especially for the USA - which made it feel overpriced. Not as comfortable as anticipated from other reviews.
Chic and stylish boutique hotel; excellent location; clean, comfortable rooms; We received the complimentary wifi
Our Queen Room had a terrible view - facing the interior courtyard and a neighboring office building. It was always dark and noisy as all the air conditioning vents were in this interior court. Ask for one with city view! The valet parking was too expensive $37 - parked on the street after 7pm it's free.
stylish boutique hotel; excellent helpful staff; clean, quiet, comfortable rooms;
We loved the sitting areas in the lobby. Great place to relax and socialize, especially as we were a group of 6. The black and white photographs made the halls an interesting place to stop and check out. The interactive photos in the lobby were cool.
Location, staff, facilities and local restaurant options.
Great location, connected to an excellent restaurant and the overall design and comfort of the hotel was excellent. Great for business travel or vacation.
The rooms are a bit small, especially the bathroom. However, they are laid out well and not too much of a bother.
In the middle of everything!
Bathroom was a little small.
The bed, the staff.
The fitness center was a little basic.
The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and offered excellent recommendations for local food and drink. The bed was amazing (try the "pillow menu") and the location is in the heart of downtown. Easy access to light rail, shopping, food, and night life. Very close to Powell's (epic bookstore) and The Roxy (epic diner). The hotel itself is beautifully appointed with a variety of interesting art works. Incredibly comfortable and relaxing.
The shower head was *low*. I stand at 6'1" (~1.85 meters), and the shower barely reached my neck. Lots of stooping and contorting when trying to bathe. There was no shower hose available.
small room, poor view, old facilities
Beautiful hotel and in a great area of Portland.
They overcharged us for what I booked using Booking.com. And the rooms have very bad fluorescent lighting which makes doing your makeup really hard!
Service was excellent. Small but comfortable rooms. Great location
Loud toilet and not great insulation between walls. Could hear neighbors very clearly ;-)
Service was outstanding, from the front desk to the doormen and the wait staff at Imperial, all were very professional and always had a smile, very impressed
Rooms are a bit small, but most are in these older renovated hotels.
