Score from 52 reviews Excellent
The cabin was very comfortable, the people were very nice.
It sounded like we were on a busy street in the city all nite. And the price was to high being so close to the busy road. It had the value if it, had been tucked in the woods
knotty pine décor, kitchen facilities, bathroom, homey atmosphere, and love seat which makes into a comfortable bed. We plan to book again in the spring when the fishing is better.
the slanting top of the toilet where most things fall off, the enormous comforter (too big and warm for this time of year)
Not able to cancel last night
Central location, very private, small only a couple cabins, quiet, recently updated, price is good, staff helpful.
Too soft matress, it is great but for someone that needs firm not good, I wouldn't arrive late staff only available when store is open
everything but the Bed
Need to have a King size bed in the room.
Nice furniture and facilities. WIFI. Nicely done wood work. Clean and service people were nice and prompt when correcting minor problems.
Location on Rt 260 wasn't very good. Sitting on porch was a nosy experience. Would have liked to crossed the street but was too dangerous. Cars and trucks rumbled by all night. Not enough stands for suitcases.
The Cabin(room) was updated and clean There is a gas fireplace, coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator in the room. Free WIFI was good.
The Rainbow lake access was minimal and the water was cluttered with trash and silt. The lake across the highway is private, so it is not available. A cook top in the room would be nice
The cabin was beautiful, the queen beds were so comfortable. My daughter said the bunk beds were'nt, took her word for it. Lol The front porch overlooked the lake where we fished, caught crawfish and a giant frog. Everything was released. So much to do, went horseback riding, go carting and played mineature golf. Loved that we could cook in the perfect kitchen. Hated to leave!
The cleanliness was below par for me. Wouldnt take a shower without shower shoes. When we checked the sofas for beds their was junk left from previous visitors. Otherwise good.
Quite, adorable cabins, the shops on location are hard to resist. Restaurants were absolutely delicious! Along with great service by efficient (and cute) Dylan. I will definitely be staying there again!
It was a beautiful room with everything you need, right down to an iron... Very clean I was completely satisfied with our stay! Will recommend to everyone and will definately be back!!
Location was easy to get to, fun casual dinning on property
Room could have been cleaner. Lake was behind cabins, shore line near cabins had a smell.
Web site is somewhat misleading in what they have to offer. There are only three units, not at all handicapped accessible, there was a very small microwave and dorm style refrigerator. No clean towels, limited cream for coffee and it was spoiled. Porch and interior furniture of a very poor quality and needed to be updated. Chairs were rigidity.
newly remodeled and very clean
Loved the quaintness of the cabin, coupled with all the modern conveniences. Flat screen TV, Free Wi-Fi, microwave and frig, and fireplace. Very rustic and woodsy. Staff was friendly and the room was clean. I can't wait to go back.
Newly remodeled with plenty of charm
The cabin was perfect! Comfortable, roomy, clean and very nice.
We had 9 people and did run out of hot water sometimes. To be expected with that many people in winter though!
Quaint clean room
The cabins were very cute and cozy! The location was great and quiet. The customer service was great and we got a great deal for the Thanksgiving holiday! If we could get the same deal, we might want to book it for next year!
The coffee pot was not cleaned. The bed in #6 was sagging. Maybe need to switch mattresses with #7 since #7 is not rented out that often. The smoke detector in #7 was beeping due to a low battery. When the woman at the front came to change it, there were ants coming into the cabin from the hole it was in. The owners might consider caulking around the tub if they don't want to rot out the floor under the tile. There was no easy way to get down to the lake. If the description says that fishing is available, there should be at the very least a walking path down to a nice area to sit and fish. If they aren't going to make one, then don't mention that as a perk.
It was a beautiful town, close to the lake, shopping and entertainment.
The staff was non existent, they closed while we were staying, we didn't get housekeeping, the mattress was old and sunk in the middle, there was a funny gurgling sound that came from the fridge, the pictures in the advertisement were misleading, the rooms were small, no amenities, and it was too much for the money
Newly remodeled cabin
The room was very nice and newly remodeled with a comfortable bed and fluffy pillows, the fireplace could be an enjoyable addition when the weather gets colder.
location, the front porch was about 45 feet from the main road so sitting out there was not peaceful or relaxing.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was an awesome little restaurant in the Village and a stuff shop. Loved it!
The rooms were very close to the main road in town. Maybe good for convenience, a bit noisy for those of us looking to get away.
The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was great love the hamburgers
Didn't like the bed too squeaky the shower was too hard
Advertizing is extremely misleading. Thought we were getting a small cabin, instead we got a room in a cabin-like building. Amenties listed fishing without a license, however this is only accessible if the family cabin is not occupied. Also listed barbecue, although again the only grill was with the family cabin, which would be a problem if it were occupied. Restaurant posts that it opens at 7 A.M. , after 10 A.M. still not open. Wanted to check out around 7 A.M., had to wait for the clerk to arrive about 10 A.M. The clerk said I could have left the key on the table in the room, however I informed her that this was not true because another employee had told me the day before that the master keys had been lost. It is my understanding that it is under new ownership. That staff is pleasent, but not well organized. The "amenities" are "grossly misrepresented". When we booked through your site the reviews showed 8 out of 10. I would rate them a "1". Very dissatisfied!!!
Cabin was nicely furnished, very clean and comfortable. Did not require much interaction with staff, but they were friendly and helpful. Restaurant on premises has good food and low prices. A/c worked great as did shower. Very good value for the price.
There is no place to fish from the premises contrary to what is listed on their website. Also has more of motel atmosphere than a cabin due to location right along 260.
