Unfortunately, it was only after we made our reservation, and our credit card was fully charged in advance, that we were aware of the numerous complaints on booking.com. Those complaints are exactly what we experienced: nobody answered to our email inquiries and phone calls, something happened to their system and it "overbooked" the apartments; other apartments had "flooding damage", we were transferred to another building in an area that felt very unsafe, with many homeless and mentally unstable people. We can only advise everybody to stay away from those dubious people at Nob Hill/Lumi Suites and avoid all that hassle we and many other travelers have experienced!

Minimal and clean design Great location Amazing view Brian and Dena are fun and warm. Brian is awake 24 hours and he's always ready to help and support the guests.
We arrived to be told by Brian VanderBes on concierge that they had double booked our room due to computer error so they would have to locate us to a different hotel. Although the hotel was nice it didn't have the view, kitchen facilities or laundry facilities that we required. But were told that was our only option. Being only a 3 day stay in San Francisco we checked with our 'new' hotel that payment for our room had been covered by Nob Hill - it hadn't and they were expecting us to pay (Nob Hill had taken payment in advance from us). We tried to ring the numbers given to us by Brian but there was no answer so we took time out to go back to Nob Hill. Katherine the manager was there, she said we had been moved because of problems with the water pipes, but assured us they would arrange payment that day (we were checking out the next day). When we returned to the hotel at 9pm we were told they had had nothing from Nob Hill and we would have to pay the bill on check out. So again we trecked up to Nob Hill and sat with Brian while he arranged for payment to be made and we had confirmation from our hotel that all was in order. We received no compensation for the stress, time taken having to revisit Nob Hill twice or the multiple phone calls trying to get a response from them. I'm sure the suites would be very nice but not worth the risk. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
After emailing nob hill suites to confirm the reservation I received a reply once I had arrived in San Francisco airport saying they had overbooked due to maintenance problems, which meant me and my girlfriend had to find a hotel in San Francisco very last minutes and had to pay way over the odds! My advice to anyone would be to stay well Clear of this place, they let us down and didn't tell us until we had arrived at the airport! Terrible service!!
NO GETTING WHAT I BOOKED!
The space and its design. Big bathroom. clean and a wonderfull WIFI.
I was in suite 2004 in Mission San Francisco, not Nob Hill. It took allmost two hours before arriving - we were transferred -to this different location from Nob Hill suites at Nob Hill. This was also further away from from my meeting centre at the Hyatt. The front door tells smoking is only allowed at a big distance from this front door - so outside - And every morning we woke up in the pungent sigarette smoke that entered our bedroom from the room nextdoor. It also made all our luggage in the walk in closet smell terrible. We still remember this room by our smelly luggage. Also the absence of a second fob to enter the elevator and building was a nuisance. Mission is also frequented by lots of homeless, drunk and psychiatric patients that make walking around feel unsafe.
The change of position at the last minute. They promise on the website something different, in terms of position and view. And the weak communication, they did not reply to emails.
When I arrived they accused me of not paying. When I supplied a receipt, they said they didn't have a room due to a broken water heater. They ended up finding a room at another one of their properties. When I received my credit card statement, they charged me twice. I've left numerous messages on the phone they never answer. I've sent email, with no reply.
Good location in San Francisco, close to cable car and bus services.
We were given a suite located at least 2 blocks away and got a suite with basic standard and the only view was the wall of neighbor block.TV and wi-fi did not work the first day. The bed was much smaller than a King size bed.

We booked this suite 2 months in advance but we were told it was overbooked when we arrived and has to relocate us to their sister apartment Soma Suites. We chose Nob Hill Suites because of the location but we were moved to an unsafe area with lots of homeless & weird people wandering round at night. I wouldnt pay the same amount for an area like this and the facilities provided at all !!! Checked the previous comments and I realized they used varies excuses to move people there (flooded room, apartment no available, an emergency, etc) If you would like to stay at Nob Hill area, ring and confirm before your holiday. Very disappointed and will not book with them again!!!!
I booked "Luxury Suite with City View" and I got nothing: other location & view - 1155 Jones St ,CA 94109, worst suite (windows that do not close, days that stopped water, electricity) - building reconstruction. While talking to Brian - concierge, a couple came to check-in and so I found out that in fact there is nothing available on Pine Street building for us.
Beware. This hotel allows double booking, so the room you book will not be the room you receive - you may not even have a room. For us, the room was a few miles away; not near the area we wanted to stay in, and not in the hotel we had 2 confirmed (by booking.com and by the hotel) bookings for. We we not informed of this by the pleasant receptionist when we arrived, nor when we returned 3 hours later for check-in, nor when the manager eventually arrived. We waited for 30 minutes to check in, though we still did not know that we would stay in a different location. The manager made efforts to avoid us and would not look at us, and we did not know we were to stay in a different location until we were bundled with scant explanation into a private taxi (neither we nor the driver knew where we were to go). We were taken to SOMA Suites, where the accommodation was excellent (luckily) but not ready (5pm by now), but far from the area we wanted to be in. Nob Hill: Very poor admin, no customer service, poor communication. Apparently, according to the manager, double booking was happening for bookings made 7 months prior - my booking was "only" 6 weeks prior. Beware.
Service was really bad. We booked 2 rooms and in both were clogging in the toilet And they moved us to another address, not that was in booking

The booked apartment was not available.After Two hours of trying to find an alternative property we gave up and booked a hotel with another booking agency.Overall the attitude of the staff managing the apartments was pathetic
It had a kitchen (which had most of what we needed, except a chopping board). No breathtaking views, but a quiet place. Comfortable bed.
Booking was pre-paid/non-refundable; staff was obliged to keep their side of the deal (Lumi Suites: "high rise room, breathtaking views") We arrived early, and they would not let us check in an hour early. Reception was rather curt. So we took a quick unplanned late lunch. Then on our return, we were surprised with an sudden change in hotel location and room, staff mumbling something about Lumi Suites having plumbing problems. (Really?) Only to find out other foreign customers (other days) were given the same story and transfer. We moved to a hotel 2 blocks uphill, 2nd floor (no breathtaking views). It's too bad. We don't mind changes, as we are very flexible, but how they handled it was lacking in courtesy, warmth, no business savvy. But, being open minded and forgiving, we will give then a second chance, when we return to SFO.

We lived on 1190 Mission street and it's VERY close to that part of the city with lots of homeless people and various of very strange persons.

The flat has everything we need, and the location is good too.
A booking problem meant they had no room for us on the first night. We had to move to another hotel and had to push to stay at the new hotel for all 3 nights. The Nob Hill manager was not communicative and we sat in his office for almost an hour waiting for him to reorganise things. Did this happen to others? Will be advising trip advisor.

Couldn't check in until 4pm took 2hours..no visual signs of nob hill apartments no office as such. Blind missing from bedroom window. No telephone. Very small bathroom.no room servicing while there.
