Efficiency apartment like set up. Clean. Very comfortable beds.
Needs to be a door to back bedroom on the one bedroom suites. There is another bed as you enter room. Privacy in the back would be appreciated.
The place is being renovated I guess because the reception has been moved to a converted room. I was not told at check in that there won't be breakfast. When I got up in the morning I tried to find the restaurant but there wasn't one. The reception was closed and no one was to be found. Rang the bell and called from my room but no answer. For over US$100 this is very poor value for money.
Friendly welcoming staff. Felt safe and secure.
Facilities were just fine.
Hard to locate at night. Need some kind of lighted sign on road. GPS had it right so we found it eventually.
We were very disappointed with the "continental breakfast."
The iron bars in the bath tub
Sorry wi-fi did not work part of the time.
Construction on an addition was noisy during the day, but that will soon be completed.
Love the location and the friendly staff.
Manager gave us a free upgrade to a suite which was great for meeting with relatives.
The man at the desk when we checked in was excellent. Very helpful.
There were no dancing girls or steak & lobster for breackfast.
Location and cleanliness also value. Also the manager was excellent and so friendly.
Some other guests would smoke outside their rooms...
Excellent property, good location, very clean and comfortable. Strongly recommend!
The staff at the check in wasn't very friendly, but I guess everybody can have a bad day. The staff at check out, on the other hand, was extremely nice and kind.
Clean comfy room close to the Great Smoky Mtn
Aircon a bit noisy and noise from drive thru of McDonalds if you are in the rooms closest to Maccas
Excellent setup, kitchenette with full fridge and stove, and dishes. Laundry mat on site. Friendly Helpful Staff.
Staff is very friendly. Room was very clean and large.
On this visit I had requested a double queen room, but when I arrived, one queen bed was in the living room area, which wasn't suitable for my situation. Fortunately there was still a double queen available, and I was able to switch rooms without hassle. Also, the 3rd shift office manager offered excellent customer service and installed a net extender device that resolved our otherwise poor wifi reception issue. (I have stayed at the hotel on prior occasions with no wifi reception issues) In general, I like that this property is laid out with bedrooms in the back, away from the parking lot. The small kitchen offers a full size refrigerator, oven and microwave, so it is nice for visitors staying for an extended period or who prefer to avoid restaurant dining. I like that the property is centrally located between the Smoky Mountains and Knoxville, and it's a pleasant and scenic drive for a day-trip to the traffic-burdened Pigeon Forge / Gatlinburg area. Maryville offers families a wide variety of restaurant options and the convenience of major grocery / retail stores.
The 2nd shift office manager was apathetic about our complaint regarding poor wifi reception. (The 3rd shift manager was much more accommodating and quickly resolved the issue.) Also, we stayed on the 1st floor and could hear upstairs guest walking around and using the restroom into the wee hours of the morning. Had this been my first stay with Luxbury it would have been my last. Facilities, although usually clean, are showing wear and tear and could use kitchen and bath updates. It's in an odd location behind fast food restaurants. Since this property is dated and in an odd area, it's vital that customers experience a quiet, restful stay and receive impeccable customer service. This recent visit fell short on both counts.
The property was very clean and location was convenient.
I asked in advance and was told in writing that the pet fee was $25. When I arrived, late at night and tired from driving all day, I was told that it was $50 for my pet. Not sure if this was an example of bait and switch, but if you have a pet, you might plan to stay elsewhere. The breakfast was marginal. We ended up eating elsewhere. The bed sagged to the middle. Not worth the price we ended up paying.
Friendly staff and great location
large rooms, good location, good ameneties.
Need a maint. man. drain broke, light globes missing small stuff easy to fix needs to be done to make this a great place.
The grounds we very clean. The building was very clean and quiet. The covered area for several motorcycles was a plus. Staff was friendly and helpful at all times. Hotel was close to everything we needed. Our kitchen helped out a great deal. Will be staying there again.
Room was very clean
Excellent location the gentleman that worked their was very nice. The breakfast sucked. The lady that was their had no personality. Over all a good stay.
Everything! The facilities were very clean and comfortable. The staff was very accomonadating.
