The bed was the best
The train going all night
Location and the room is way too small.
The jacuzzi was the only plus
The location, room was extremely small..no place to hang your clothes...just way too small. Other guest were very very noisy
It is seems a new hotel so I found it nice and clean. I did see parking in the rear which is big thing in New York. Staff was courteous and co-operative. Of-course the price is best in that neighborhood. I did not hear any noise from nearby 'L'. I went there not expecting much because I read some nasty reviews online but I found it much better than.
TV remote was not functioning and it was not fixed even after complaining. I wish they had included some breads and cream cheese in breakfast instead of just bagels.
When I got to the hotel sanjeev had every thing ready for me because I was running late I thought that was sweet of him all I had to do was show my Id and credit card and I was all set the night staff at this hotel is the best that why I continue stay there
My trip was too short
I like everything about the hotel. ..
Although it was for 1 night only, the entire stay was one of comfort, space and opportunity. Clean, comfortable and the staff was friendly and answered all my questions thoroughly. Thank you
easy to get to and get around. bed was comfy
walls are thin so I heard everything going around.
I love staying at this hotel the staff great specially the night manager I can remember his name very pleasant goes out of his way to make sure all the guess are happy comfortable I checked in I called and explained my situation. The night manager he made sure everything was still available for meI need the cat he called the cabbie made sure I was ready before you call the cab like I said my best stayed at this hotel and I always stay there but this time he went out of his way to make sure I had a pleasant night there
there was nothing I didn't like
I arrived on Thursday evening for a visit with my daughter, who lives in Brooklyn. The first thing I noticed was an elevated train line across the street, never included in any promotional photos. I went to the front desk and gave the young woman my name. She asked for ID and credit card, and told me I have to review the rules for my stay on an LED screen. I got to rule 3 which stated that after 10 minutes in my room I was financially responsible for my entire stay. I said this was unacceptable and would not agree. I asked for my cards back and was ready to leave. The clerk informed me that I had been already charged and that she could not reverse the charge. I told her she had violated the hotel rules and had no right to charge my card. I demanded to speak to a manager. She said one would not be there for hours. I told her to call a manager, or I would call the police. She finally did. I then demanded the phone to speak directly to the manager. She would not hand it over. Then I started yelling so the manager could hear me nonetheless. After she hung up she reversed the charge and gave me a zeroed out receipt in 20 seconds. She had deliberately lied about the refund and her ability to contact a manager. It would be hard to explain how odious the experience was, from the ridiculous policy of charging for the entire stay before you can know the hotel is safe, quiet or otherwise acceptable (or if your stay has to be cut short or if you become ill), to a completely dishonest and unpleasant staff. Do not stay here.
clean, comfortable, newly refurbished
the erae isn't pleasent at night close to railway - too noisy
The staff was mostly friendly. Obviously the price is great.
The noise from train is very loud. Super small rooms. We were woken by crazy loud hotel guests, the front desk should have taken care of this before they got to the rooms. Slamming doors yelling drunks. It took an hour to get them to leave 3am finally. Paper thin walls you can hear everything. Also no water pressure at all. Not for us.
Only a year old. Well maintained and cleaned. Very helpful staff at front desk. Had an elevator.
We took the subway to this location and found the neighborhoods we had to pass through were very run down and we did not feel very safe. But this was our first visit to Brooklyn and as we saw more of the city we realized that most areas were like this, so if one is used to it.....We then took cabs. There is a flat rate of $12 to most parts of the city, so we did not have to worry about getting ripped off. The hotel staff got the cabs for us and they came very quickly. The breakfast needed some healthier foods, such as fruit or yogurt. Our room faced the main street where the Long Island RR runs down the middle of the street on an elevated structure. I suggest travelers ask for a room facing the rear of the building, as it would be quieter.
Front desk friendly. Subway stop 2 blocks away on Fulton. Lots of stuff on Fulton. Car service is quick they called 10 min wait and cheap
Area right on Atlantic by Hotel not the best looking give it a few years but Fulton St is fine. Had some very noisy guests at 2am staff came up and handled it
close to subway line a/c, modern facility, good room size, 7/11 shop near by
breakfast is a joke, face the light rail and it is noisy in the morning, location is in a poor area of NY
Parking and no fridge
Shower pressure was lousy. And the water was scorching hot.
Modern design Comfortable beds Free parking
Paper thin walls, could hear everything in the next room and in hallways Continental breakfast on weekends was lame (box breakfast)
EVERYTHING.. Especially the quietness and the continental breakfast.. the young lady at the front desk was a GEM!.. So was the one cleaned my room. Wish i had gotten her name.. I stated in room 403 in October of this year..
Very friendly staff. This hotel is not bad variant to stop for a night in Brooklin.
Sound-insulation is quite poor. We heard all night as our neighbors had a very impressive conversation in the smallest details after their visit to night club.
Modern facility, value for money, close to subway, direct subway (line a) to JFK airport ,a 7-11 shop near by,
The area is quite poor, noisy due to the nearby light train
overall nice breakfast was adequate staff was friendly
not very spacious location not too nice lack of carpeting!!
Very good service and kind staff
the fire alarm went off 3 times. twice at night and once in the morning.
The place was modern and clean, the staff were friendly, and the bed was comfy. It's only a few blocks from the blue line.
The neighborhood around the hotel was not so clean. There is also a train that passes nearby, although it was still much quieter than a hotel in the middle of Manhattan.
