Luxe Hotel Rodeo Drive    

Cannot fault Luxe Hotel Rodeo drive....everything about this hotel was perfect, the staff made you feel like family.

Good but not large rooms. Pretty lobby. Good location at Rodeo Drive. Minibar in the room. Teapot in the room for request.

Poor menu in the hotel restaurant. Pricey. Small room. They took cash for deposit and didn't have our cash money at the check-out (despite we told about it at check-in). They have problems with debit cards. No air ventilation in the bathroom.

Friendly staff. Excellent position in Beverly Hills. Very good hotel.

The first night we asked the receptionist about where to eat and he practically insisted we go to Flemmings. When we told him we were not interested in a chain restaurant and asked about local places he said bad things about all the restaurants we mentioned and kept insisting we go to Flemmings. We went to these "bad" restaurants and they were great! Also when the airconditioner in our room was in use it made a tapping sound like someone was knocking on our door. And the closet door came off the hinges rendering the safe unusable. The parking was 30 a day and there was an extra "service tax" of 32.88 a day added on. Not impressed.

Being directly under Benjamin's Bar Mitsvah at night and the removal of furniture in the morning. Did get free breakfast as consolation.

I loved many aspects of this hotel as well as the location. The hotel staff were super friendly and accommodating. I arrived at 930 am and didn't even expect to be able to get into my room - within 10 minutes I was able to go up to my room which was great. The room was very nicely decorated and pleasant. The windows were soundproof and the air conditioning worked well. The food was really very good and I could have eaten there every day with ease. There is a small little bar and restaurant area along the sidewalk and just inside the building - great for people watching and catching a bit of sun. Happy hour from 4-7 with $6 glasses of wine, less for cocktails, and appies under $9 - try the sliders (just two but filling and you can pick from three cheeses), or fish and chips and don't forget the very yummy truffle fries. Best thing yet is that you are in the middle of Rodeo Drive - right smack in the middle of great shopping. Next street over is Canon drive with little bistros that the celebrities frequent. However, you can meet them at the hotel - I saw Jessica Biel and Kelsey Grammar. Also, I found this fabulous hair salon for men and women called Joseph Martin - up a block from the hotel on Rodeo Drive in a little three story mall. Best hair cut ever although the $120+ price tag is a bit of a choker. Have to say it was worth it though - had men whistling and women complimenting all the way back the block and a half to the hotel and for the rest of the evening. I had Lily has my stylist, and her assistant Umy. I think anyone is really good there though - I saw another guest who looked like she had the most amazing makeover - mid 60's and she looked 20 yrs younger and beautiful!

While I didn't experience too much of this, a couple of guests I spoke with complained the service in the restaurants was too slow. I found that if you just signaled someone they were more than willing to give you lots of attention. If you just sit there and say nothing, you could sit for a while - they seem to not want to bother you unless you are looking to be bothered. Ok by me.

Immediately on arrival all staff were very friendly and welcoming which helped us relax and settle in. The bistro sits kerbside. This was great for people watching on Rodeo whilst enjoying good food and wine at a reasonable price.

A beautiful hotel with exceptionally comfortable facilities and in a superb location. Cappuccinos were decent and the food and cocktails were fantastic.

When I booked two rooms online I was quoted the rate of 262.65 per room, totaling $525.30. I have my online confirmation. When I checked out on Sunday I was charged $262.65 for Room 222 (Jerry McCormick) and I was charged $349.00 for my room #307. When I spoke to the front desk clerk she would not make the adjustment -- took a copy of my conformation and told me she would give it to management. I think Luxe has a responsibility to adjust this charge on my AMEX.

Recomended to us , certinally was up to expectations , great location would stay again .

The hotel is like an old leather lounge suite; Not over the top, a few scratches, but very comfortable in a fabulous location. Also ease of parking and access.

For what it is and the rate, we consider it excellent.

This is a great boutique hotel in the best location in L.A. I have been staying here for over ten years and have never found anything better. Nice size, great staff and well priced.
