Great location and close to subway.
Restaurant was expensive.
Clean, modern and great location. Staff was exceptional.
Nothing to complain about.
We loved the neighborhood location of the hotel, and the staff was remarkably friendly and accommodating. The room was what we consider extra large, especially for a city-based hotel, and we were pleasantly surprised by its comfort.
It would be nice to have coffee/tea options in room instead of calling for them. Also, the area in/around the tub wasn't as clean as I would've liked, but I'm picky and it's not enough to keep me from returning.
Staff was great and friendly
The whole experience was great. Staff was friendly and room was more than I expected! Will definitely be returning!
No free WiFi and parking
Every member of the staff that we met at the Madera was excellent. The ladies at the front desk were exceptional - always available to offer valuable sightseeing and restaurant suggestions. We will definitely return for another stay.
The bathroom was tiny but it really didn't matter. The cost to park our car was exorbitant but we expected that in DC.
the location was great. We had a metro station just at 2 blocks from there, that's awesome. Nice service, clean rooms, etc.
Wifi free is horrible at the rooms. Is very important for travelers to have nice connections no matters is free.
I really like the size of thre room, the view, and minibar!!!
Smal bathroom! It was soooo small! Not a big deal! For shower - enough!
everything, especially as it was a special offer
it's nice place, good location.
it is expensive 1500$ for 3 nights
Comfortable bed, friendly staff in hotel and Firefly, location
Nothing comes to mind
Great quality room, convenient that there is a restaurant right next door with superb food, and wifi is actually free if you sign up for their loyalty program for free
Staff were great. Room was beautiful.
The noisy alley. Bed was not firm. Woke up in back pain.
The hotel was very clean and modern. All the staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help us.
refrigerator that didn't keep items cold. smallest bathroom ever bed too soft (I find I'm in the minority here).
The room was very big with good space to move around for the family. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Location was good with dupont circle only ~200m away. Morning coffee at the reception.
Washroom was very tiny for a such a large room.
Clean modern room with all the amenities. Staff was very catering to my needs.
Prices went up for last minute bookings.
Spacious room and clean.
Location, spacious room with balcony. Nicole and Jordan.
No tea/coffee making facilities in room and the tiny bathroom
Close to metro and walkable to White House, Georgetown and U St. Great continental breakfast. Plenty of eats and drinks close by.
Tiny bathroom! Struggled to get an extra blanket but staff made up for it with complimentary vouchers.
Dirty not clean not comfort
Price! The room we booked on-line, was not the room we were given, We booked a suite with a pull out couch, but when we arrived there was no couch. Even though my husband confirmed we would have a couch at check-in, with the check-in agent. We were told there were no suite rooms with a couch available, so we had to settle for a smaller room and ask for a roll-away bed. The hotel never made any attempt to adjust the price, we had to remind them and ask for our price to be adjusted because we were given a cheaper room. They planned to charge us full price for a smaller room.
The location is great. Walking distance to many shops and restaurants.
Our reservation was messed up. We booked a king deluxe room with a pull out couch but they didn't have it when we checked in. They have is a double queen with pull out instead. The room was configured strangely. It had a curtained room next to the sitting area for yoga. To me, it was a complete waisted space. The bathroom was tiny. So small that I could not close the door while helping my toddler to the bathroom. The tv was also in front of the beds instead of the sitting area. I suppose this is not a terrible room but it just doesn't fit my needs. I was envisioning to be able to watch tv in the sitting space while my toddler sleeps bed area. The bathroom was definitely way too small. In the end, it made me feel like I upgraded to the bigger room for no reason because the purpose was not served.
