- Friendly staff - Location - Good value - Cleanliness - The happy hour for both wine & milk/cookies.
There wasn't anything that I didn't like. It's not the Ritz, but I didn't expect it to be.
The breakfasts were a cut above average and the staff worked hard to please. Happy hour was adequate and the Starbucks downstairs was convenient.
As an older building, the rooms were less comfortable. The lighting was dim in my room for two and there was no counter space around the sink. Parking was expensive.
Breakfast & Wi-fi Friendly front dest staff
Too expensive, but may be due to timing
Free wine and beer every night Amazing complementary breakfast Free milk, cookies and tea each night Free internet has decent (not great) speed Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. When my husband woke up with food poisoning at 2 AM, a staff member walked me to the 7-11 around the corner to get him some medicine and gatorade.
The mattress had a big dip in the middle and wasn't very comfortable Building has an odd smell - I think due to the age of the building.
- location - breakfast - friendly staff
- loud rattling noise from vents
Location Staff Breakfast Complimentary happy hour
Cost of the suite did not justify the size of the room and the number of people it would accommodate. It would have been better to get a regular double room.
noise of air con
They drove us to our dinner reserve and concert in hotel suv. It wasn't far, but very friendly of them to offer and it made our evening out very easy.
all was as expected.
Cookies and milk was a treat
Would like a pool
Great location, responsive service, huge rooms with a microwave and nice couch
We could feel the springs in the mattress and had to change hotels. I have back problems and my husband has difficulty sleeping, so a bad bed is a disaster for us. I've slept on more comfortable beds in hotels that cost half as much. Also, the breakfast and cookies were mediocre. Not worth it considering the great breakfast options in the area.
Good downtown location, very well equipped suite at a good price plus free beer for an hour in the early evening.
WiFi kept disconnecting requiring me to go back through the less than friendly log in. We were only on the second floor but had to use the lift (elevator) because we couldn't find a suitable staircase.
Location to downtown was very nice. Room very clean.
If you're going to venues, i.e., theater / games / comedy clubs, then you're better off finding a less expensive place. However, if your schedule allows, price for room is off set by happy hour and hot breakfast.
Location, Happy Hour, Cookies & Milk (unusual treat!)
Room service & meal selections in Harry's Bar. Your chef/cook needs to learn how to make sausage gravy! Worst I've ever had! Otherwise, breakfast buffet was very good!
Staff was very responsive to needs. Great benefits such as complimentary daily breakfast, free wi-fi service & daily happy hour.
Chad was terrific (who needs a concierge)? Room size Staff Complimentary shuttle to local activities Comfortable bed
Interior is tired
Awesome shower head and big tub
Great location, spacious room (we had a suite), nice high ceilings
Room was a little dated and tired looking, light in closet didn't work for the entire stay so clearly cleaning staff never entered there, staff in general didn't seem too interested
Staff very attentive
Room was a little dated. Toothpaste left in sink from previous guests. Tables missing laminates and the room was very dark.
Clean attractive fast elevator pleasant staff
Had to move to another room due to very wet carpeting. 2nd room was very nice.
As 50-somethings traveling without our kids, we thoroughly enjoyed the Magnolia Hotel in Denver. Loved the location close to many restaurants and attractions; room was quite comfortable, and breakfast spread was plentiful. Staff very friendly and front desk folks went out of their way to help us find what we needed. Would definitely recommend to others.
Comfortable beds, good reception and breakfast
Heavy room door that slammed loudly
I requested chocolate covered strawberry's for my girl friend and the staff did an excellent job
This hotel is in a great location, not far from Union Station, which is the central transportation hub in Denver. It's also close to the 16th Street Mall and a multitude of food and entertainment options. Room sizes are great. I enjoyed the free breakfast (which included hot food items), and evening milk and cookies. The room included a safe, and the wi-fi was good.
Make sure to request a room on a higher floor, away from the elevator. Sound insulation is a bit lacking, so there were a few times when I got awoken by other hotel guests who were simply having normal volume conversations. Also, I was disappointed at how long it took housekeeping to service my room - on the one day I needed housekeeping, they didn't come until 4 p.m.
Location; it was a nice boutique hotel
It was loud; if it wasn't the street noise, it was the air conditioning that would kick on and off every five minutes (and no, that isn't an exaggeration). It is loud and would then wake us throughout the night. As far as street noise, we were eon the 8th floor and it was incredibly loud. We live in a high rise ourselves and understand city noise but these windows did not cut out the sound from the late night bar crowd.
The staff was fantastic, the breakfast and managers reception was a nice touch. The location was also good for restaurants and shopping.
For what the room was like the cost was way too much average $278.08 a night. Our AC had a mind of it's own. The room was very small and had no mini-refrigerator, a warm bottle of water we could purchase for $5.00. Nothing like the pictures on the internet. The shower was awful.
