Shuttle service was fantastic! Warm cookies were a plus too!
I love the separate dressing area from the tub and toliet. The room was very clean and spacious.
I don't like being charged so much for the valet services. My husband and I had to drive separately and the charge for the parking was 48. That seemed a little steep. Also having coffee in the lobby for your early risers would have been nice. The stuff in the room is always too strong with very little creamer.
the view of the hotel and the coffee shop
The fact that you had drinks, cookies and breakfast.
Parking was pricey, drinks should be much later as a night cap. Didn't have mini microwave oven.
Good place for staying
Homeless people around
I told the front desk a week before our stay we were celebrating our twentieth wedding anniversary. They promised champagne at/or near 7:00 on Friday night, and an hour later I called to ask if we were going to receive the champagne. This was only embarrassing, not to mention we made plans around this. I was again embarrassed, and felt like I was asking for something that was originally offered. They did, however, deliver the bubbly thirty minutes after I inquired, but it was too late!
It's Location is great
It took a while for the Valet to bring the car around. Too long!!
The customer service!!!
Pool was ok but needs to be updated to match level of hotel. Also mini refrigerator in room did not fit space so door was hard to open and close.
Was great to be a solo traveller and meet new people during happy hour
Great get away for us. Will definitely go there again. Best value in Houston.
The reception is really kind, the hotel is modern, confortable and very clean. A good smell everywhere. For my surprise we could have an early check in as our flight was early morning. And we also could have a late check out as our flight was after lunch. Breakfast is really good and complimentary. Different options everyday. We stayed there just one night but as we arrived in the morning the first day, we were invited to have breakfast, for my surprise. I've never seen it before! Options like fruit salad, yogurt, eggs, hamburger, bacon, cereals, muffim, bagel and pap. Complimentary wi fi was ok. If you need something faster, there is a paying option. I would definitely go back there in a next trip to Houston. I really recomend it, specially if you are a business traveler because of the facilities and the location. Thank you everybody for the excellent experience.
Parking is expensive but if you like comfort of valet, it's ok. They were fast, asking us to wait 10 min but always arriving before. If you don't need valet and would like to save money, there is a parking lot in front of the hotel. Unfortunately we didn't see drinks or food at night because we arrived too late. We also didn't see the view from the pool because it was closed when we arrived late at night.
Great hotel and staff. The room was excellent and check-in took less than 5 minutes. Free breakfast in the AM was also great. The entire experience was great.
The only complaint would be the cost of overnight parking. Being downtown Houston one expects to have to valet....but $25 a night seems a little steep for me.
The restaurant serves excellent breakfast and dinners. There is no need to eat out.
Everything was excellent!
The amenities of the hotel, particularly the rooftop pool, and hotel bar.
I loved my view from the 21st floor.
The large bathroom, with additional area..
There wasn't any hot water, the water only got warm. The price of the room. I have been to other hotels were the sitting area where closed off in another room. For the price I paid I would have expected the kitchen and sitting area to be closed off. $370 is too much money for the room. The fitness room needs more work, and the swimming pool is too small. You would have thought for that price, parking would have been included. ...
Beautiful hotel. Very friendly & the staff was amazing!
Warm staff. Great hotel. Comfortable rooms. Milk and cookies. A true happy hour.
Rooms and decor of hotel
Building site next door Wait for car return from valet parking
The staff were exceptional, helpful and friendly. The free breakfast, complimentary cocktail hour, and cookie bar in the evenings were The Best!! The best place we've stayed. It was within walking/riding distance of almost everything we needed.
The air conditioner in our room didn't cool very well.
Room very nice and close to minute maid park.
Using Booking. Com. The Magnolia did not receive my reservation from your company for over 3 hours. During that time while waiting for my room a piece of luggage went missing.
Beautiful room, nice mini bar. Easy to reach.
The exorbitant charge for parking!!! Great breakfast but no where to sit except the bar as tables weren't cleaned very quickly.
The location is strategically convenient. The decoration is nice and perfect. I was so surprised for the bedtime cookies that the hotel provided to me.
The front desk staffs are good, but there should be more than 1 or 2 persons per shift.
