The beds were very comfortable and the front desk staff were courteous and helpful.

The hall carpets were filthy. There was some kind of substance dried on the room carpet. When we arrived for breakfast in the morning, the first thing we heard was a woman saying "I ain't buying no eggs!" There were no eggs to be eaten. One of the reasons I reserved a room here was because I'd called first and was told there were eggs and sausage for breakfast. I have diet restrictions and cannot eat breads, rolls, etc.

Liked our double bed room, benefit and location convenience of continental breakfast, parking, close to stores.

Continental breakfast did not have a big variety. 9:00 a.m.-Cont. breakfast was not stocked well - only had toast and coffee - very disappointed.

The Jacuzzi tub was very relaxing&the bed was comfortable!

The room was small& it was non-smoking& that was an inconvenience for my wife & I because we are both smokers& we had to walk outside in the cold to smoke,even after we requested a smoking room& the website did not inform us that the Jacuzzi rooms were all non-smoking!

No refrigerator for my husbands meds,no microwave,no cable movie channels,false advertisement requested refrigerator and microwave,was celebrating 20yr anniversary,was a flop.Outside appearence renovated,inside very antiquated,the furniture and decor.Very noisy .Truckdrivers and others, eating up all the complimentary breakfast as it was being put out.Dissatified totally!

the pool was closed and the manager said she was giving me 1 night free which is why I chose to stay. She only gave me a $20 discount,which is B.S. considering the room is $70+tax per night. I paid for a three night stay! I am thoroughly unhappy because I had a 5 year that was looking forward to getting in the pool since it is winter time and freezing here in Chicago. I will never book here again or use your service if this is customer service. The breakfast food choices were limited if you don't eat pork. The heat went out in our room the morning we were due to check out. Horrrible. Thoroughly unhappy!!!!!

the hotel was dirty and smelled bad and the room was gross, really dirty. i got a jacuzzi room and didnt even attempt to go in it because everything just looked dirty. wont be staying here again!!!

Misleading advertising for this hotel (does not live up to expectations of advertising). Old style (1950/60) accommodation which by today’s standards is closer to a backpacker hotel. Poor maintenance standard – many items not functioning properly (if at all). Poor facilities – very used and dated. Staff only partially helpful or polite. Could NOT recommend at all.

Friendly staff, comfortable pillows, flatt screen T.V and cable.

Poor breakfast, hot items were cold, rooms need paint and wall paper redone. Need security and shuttle bus.

Inexpensive lodging. Clean rooms. Lighted parking lot. Big breakfast. 24 hour coffee. Friendly and professional staff. Only 17 miles to Chicago...an easy drive into the city. Conveniently located near highway exit.

I had never stayed in a Magnuson Hotel before and I was very pleased with my visit. I would definitely book a room in another Magnuson Hotel. Do you have a rewards program?

This was an inexpensive place to stay for one night. The room was nice and the complimentary breakfast was of good quality. The woman who worked in the breakfast area was very friendly and helpful.

Although it's nice to be by highway 90 as far as convenience, the noise from cars is an issue--you can hear it all through the night.

Price was good value. The king suites are much nicer than the other rooms. However I would never want to stay on the first floor because of the neighborhood. All hallways and all of the parking lot was on surveillance though.

Everything was fine except the sound-proofing. I could hear people talking in other rooms.

Hotel is badly in need of some TLC. Our room was filthy, as were the hallways and common areas. There was a box spring and mattress sitting outdoors next to our window. There were cobwebs and bugs in the corners of our room. The toilet seat was stained and the shower curtain had mold on it.
