I didn't like the host she said I couldn't get the room because there was nothing available and turned me away I was very upset because I just came back from Ohio and was very tired..
It was dirty. The hot tub so so small i could barely fit in it alone.
Staff, all of them! Always speak. & always smiling
The beds were hard as rock I could literally feel the springs , and the towels were so cheap and little nothing like the hotel collection I'm used too, the hotel could use a little renovation add well as far as new carpet and new paint ....
Friendliness of staff a big plus
Continental breakfast was lacking assortment of fruit. Just personal opinion.
Cleanliness of the room. Felt good and clean as we walked into our room.
Our room was very dirty..trash in the corners, spilled pop all on the wall behind the lamp table, top beadspread dirty, toothpaste or something on the tv cabinet and too much hair in bathtub& top I refused to stay in two other hotels Saturday nite prior to arriving to yours. I work in Building Services fir a very prestigious college in South Bend, IN and just have to say it was very disgusting!! & something needs to be done about it. The front desk person didn't offer anything!! I really would like a response to this review Thank you, Shebra S. Guidry
They did try and accommodate us which was nice but location was disappointing and staff a little rude
Staff was rude, location looks nice online but not as nice in person.
Breakfast was the best ever ....
No negativ ...
Absolutely nothing!! Worst hotel I've EVER stayed in!!
Cobwebs hanging from ceiling, melted bar of soap in shower, cracked and filthy grout around spa, waited almost an hour to get a hair drier, torn chairs in lobby, stale smell throughout!! Way overpaid and wouldn't recommend!!
The beds where comfort able.
There was no Wifi, No movie channels, Continental breakfast should End @11:00.No exhaust fan in bathrooms.
It was very nice for the price!!! Comfortable and lovely!
We only stopped in for the night so we didn't have a chance to check out the facilities - the towels weren't great but we could have simply asked for more (we just didn't bother).
We liked the comfort of our room, very spacious and very clean. It was like stepping into a 5 star room without the 5 star price. The mattress, pillows and sheets....just close your eyes and you wouldn't know the difference. We will stay here again for sure!
Some type of party was going on and a couple was arguing outside of our room which woke up hubby and he had a hard time going back to sleep :(
There wasn't a fan in the bathroom so 4 people taking showers was horribly hot and sticky. Water was literally dripping off the ceiling. Also the pool didn't open till 10am and closed at 10pm so those limited evening and morning hours made it impossible to use the pool with our schedule. The breakfast was very sparce and it was out of sausage and tator tots at 8am for over 30 minutes. Staff was unprofessional and inattentive. Bad experience and won't be returning.
Close to the highway
The starving, feral cats that populated the parking lot should have been the first clue. This unlit, worn down, scary hotel would have surely been passed by - except we got the last hotel room in the area. Plan ahead and don't stay here.
room was clean
parking lots and hallways were poorly maintained... torn wallpaper, doors missing paint. Hot Tub jest did not work. Free breakfast 6 to (only) 9 AM. Located in a Poor part of town. Pricy for location and facilities. Would not recommend.
I liked that it was close to the things i was in Hammond to do. The staff was very friendly and answered all the questins we had and helped me with directions. Very sweet people. I would visit again!
There was no fans in the bathroom, No Wifi and the cable sacked :(.Nothing on and not able to play music because of No Wifi
The pool, lobby, and breakfast was great.
The room must have just been freshly painted because the room (424) had a very strong paint smell. Almost too much on the first day of check-in.
This place is gross..... Old run down and waaaaaaaaaAaaaaay over priced...... Dirty city was so happy to get the hell out of there.... We have a magnunson In south bend and it's a 5 star not a barf star. The front desk employee was very sweet. When they said they didn't have my booking.com reservations I should have left.
Had a microwave and small refrigerator in room.
Washer and dryer was removed. Man who told people to get out of pool, found belt. My son told him he thought it was his sons belt. The guy threw it in trash. Won't go back to that one again.
I liked that it was close to where I needed to be.
I don't smoke but our room reeked of smoke and the bathroom was the worse. We had to keep the door closed at all times and hurry in and out. Didn't like that at all. Something needs to change. Didn't know you could smoke in a public building.
The price was excellent. It was better this time then the last time we stayed. I was on the first floor and they gave us breakfast.
The towels were small, and the heat blow the curtains open. all the lamps did not work. Was not able to use our key in the back door.
Sign on Jaccuzzi said do not use. Wallpaper was peeling off walls, many stains on walls and ceiling. Bugs crawling on the floor.
I liked the comfort provided, especially being 2,000 miles away from home. It was quiet and comfortable. The room was definitely a steal, affordable but not run down. Overall I'd say it's better than above average.
I didn't like the unavailability of the staff at the front desk. There were a couple times were I called multiple times and there was no answer, as well as rang the bell over and over at the desk when trying to report a suspicious character that approached me and started walking through the parking lot trying to find a way in.
