The fact the hotel had changed its name and had managed to lose our reservation
the black ants in the room and the bug on the bed. Stopped looking and packed up and left
The hotel was very convenient and very comfortable every thing you would require in the room bathroom very clean. Good breakfast.
Good location on historic Route 66. Breakfast included. The staff is helpful and friendly. In the process of being remodeled. There is a laundry on site. Kingman is closest location to Grand Canyon Skywalk. There are free snacks 24 hours. This is a good place for a short time.
They claim they offer a hot breakfast but the only thing hot is prewarmed waffles that could be put in the toaster. Otherwise it is just a Continental breakfast and a collection of cold foods. There was no microwave in the room.
Quiet. Good pool. Interior outside facing room.
Mostly sweet stuff and carbs for continental breakfast. No elevator for the second floor.
Completely renovated hotel and rooms, with a great pool and an excellent location between L.A. and Grand Canyon. We got much more than we expected for that price. Even the air conditioning was not as noisy as in some other places. Totally recommanded!
The amazing amount of waste at breakfast: every single food item is individually wrapped up, which means a considerable amount of non- recyclable plastic is left behind by each customer! You couldn't imagine seeing this in a hotel in Europe.
The staff was very helpful and considerate.
Mostly the location as opposed to train tracks. After looking around the next Morning all the Motels we saw are too close to train tracks. I will personally not stay in Kingman, Arizona again.
The train tracks were right on top of the place & they were running all through the night.
I like the room and it was clean.
You could hear the train go by every hour.
Staff was everything you would like to experience in hospitality and more. All smiles, gracious hosts and hostesses.
Fixable issues - minor issues with musty smell from air conditioner probably from monsoon season rains, shower needed minor repairs.
Breakfast was really poor
Staff was very nice and willing to assist. My niece and nephew enjoyed the pool however they felt the water was too cold. Enjoyed the snacks and beverages that were available 24/7 in the lobby. Continental breakfast has good variety.
I understand there is remodeling going on but the signage need to be better, we drove right past it.
The room was pretty good for the price and breakfast was included with enough variety
Bathroom door did not close, and the batroom was a little old, but good enough and clean
front desk ---crystal
The night staff, we liked the night staff and the bananas!
A big black bug met us just inside the door, he was dead. His buddy was in the bathroom. While I was in the bathroom a picture fell off the other side of the wall. That's how we got to meet the maintenance man, nice guy. There were burn marks all over the carpet, on the microwave and the toilet seat, Non Smoking Room! Slight odor of smoke. Terrible drywall work, patches, seams, cracks and overspray. Ants in the bathroom, fortunately they stayed there. Front door was loose, no bottom seal, hence the bugs. Security latch screws loose. Micro wave cord was plugged into a power strip hanging off the fridge whose door wouldn't open unless you tilted the whole thing back. This place was so bad we took pictures. Oh, there was supposed to be a full breakfast per Booking.com, it was continental and sadly lacking. There were so many little things badly done it was oddly hilarious. I probably left a few things out, but I think that's enough. Did I say we took pictures? Lots of pictures!
Hotel was in transformation, will be beautiful when done!
Good location Friendly staff Nice beds
No wifi on outside sections of building Roaches in the room (due to weather strips not being installed yet) Non functional outlets Bathroom walls under repair (hopefully)
Price and proximity to interstate.
Train rumbling. Took some getting used to. Continental breakfast, not a real one - one of my pet peeves with hotels.
Almost everything else.
Swimming pool is nice Room are big and clean A lot restaurant are at proximity (10% discount at the Steakhouse)
Breakfast is really poor and bad (nothing homemade and too industrial) Trains are very noisy
Friendly staff on check in and out.
Too close to train tracks and could hear train going by all night. Hard beds, outdated rooms, no coffee maker. Old dirty carpet, scared to walk around in bare feet. Nasty stuff dripping down the wall in shower. Did not represent Ramada standards at all. It is also poorly signed and hard to find as it still comes up as a value inn on GPS.
staff friendly - when we found out they had no pool in service the advised the motel across the street
-should have told us before we made the reservation that the pool would not b e available
Jackhammers at 830 am!
The court yard was very nice.
The room seemed a little shabby. The carpet needed stretched . The bathroom was only partially updated.
Room newly redecorated Quiet--even with nearby trains, we slept solidly thru the night
Hot breakfast was a warmer of waffles. Otherwise it was continental. Pool wasn't open due to construction
