The staff was very helpful.

Pool was not available the entire time we were there. It was 85 degrees and would have live tonuse it. No apology about the construction and no notification about it prior to stay. We would have most likely chosen something with a pool.
Love the room. It was huge and the bed was wonderful. Very quiet

very much enjoyed but would like to have had been aware of parking charge prior to our visit

Construction. Banging on the wall. At least they didn't work on the weekends. Price
Room was big. Very nice. Two beds with couch. Nice we had three people

Pleasant surroundings. Comfortable beds, and friendly staff. Love staying here.

Hotel is being partly remodeled and this fact was not mentioned anywhere in the booking process. Exterior walls are scaffolded and being worked on. Some construction noise during daytime, quiet at night. The pool and the courtyard area can not be used. Valet car parking is expensive at $38 plus tax (plus tip)!
The location is first class. Short walking distances to Bourbon St. and Royal St., as well as the riverfront. Quiet at night. Very friendly and helpful staff.

first of all the front desk is not making the customer welcome. They will tell you the way it is. Not making efforts to expedite the process of checking in. A good example is a Valet personnel that he make his out of his way to make us feel taking care of. And he delivered it well. Now that's customer service. I arrived at 6 am from driving for 9 hrs. So we are very sleepy and tired. I understand the Checking in 4 pm. But I ask the lady I will pay extra to let us Check in early which some hotels does. But she just bluntly to me she can't do it. And tell me to go sight seeing places. I'm sleepy and tired not In the mood to smile for sight seeing. So, we hang out by pool because their lobby is not big enough to hang out. Is not pretty sight paying this hotel and we are in the pool benches waiting like homeless. And also when I check out they give me the details of my charges of stay. The numbers of my receipt it's right, but when they charge on my card they toke more money. I tried to reach the person In charge the billing. Until now they didn't return my call yet. When they says when it rains it pours. That's what I felt of this hotel. Bunch of mistakes.
the location is superb. I love the valet guy Marvin. With out Marvin we probably waiting more than 6 hrs to check in. He help us to make the chk in process faster. He saw us sleeping by the pool benches and ask us why we're not chk in yet. I told him they don't have room ready yet. So Marvin is the guy who save us.. Tnx Marvin.

The bedrooms need new carpet and nicer decor. I felt that the rooms and hallways were dirty feeling and really took away from being a nice hotel.
The courtyard was attractive even though it was under construction.

Very unhappy with the unexpected building work in the court yard which meant we couldn't use to pool - very poor !
Hotels old worl charm

We paid absolute top dollar during the Jazz Fest and arrived to find the courtyard under construction with the pool closed for a portion of our stay - we were not advised of this before arrival and when we complained the manager wasn't even apologetic...
The location was great and rooms were comfortable and fairly large.

Brandon was very kind, while we checked in. He was very accommodating.

Major work going on during our stay. Internal courtyards & pool closed due to work
Traditional French style hotel

Toliet too low for elderly people. Chair in room crowded it and couldn't move it tell people you are doing construction

We were not notified that the hotel was under renovation. Both days we were there, the pool was not available because there was a function taking place. NO view outside the bedroom window.
Hotel is in a great location for exploring the French Quarter.

We did not get the king room that we booked. Did not have a seating area and was not a kingsized bedJus
April 28, 2015
Bed not great we both had sore hips when we left our stay was 5 days . Restaurant should serve bread with evening meals especially with gumbo. Our King Suite needed more comfortable chairs only 2 . Not like pictures in advertising where was couch ! .
Location and staff were great !!
April 27, 2015
I would have preferred a terrace overlooking the fountain. We couldn't open the window to see more of a view of the courtyard.
April 26, 2015
We spent most of our time outside of the room which was a blessing. Even though it was advertised and had the price of a King room, it was small and the bed was not a king bed. When we questioned we were told "all of the beds are the same size" unless we wanted a room with 2 beds in which the beds were smaller. We measured the bed, they lied and the website is deceiving.
We were close to the French Quarter,as advertised.
April 24, 2015
didn't get the double bed as requested every day and still didn't.
April 21, 2015
The hotel was undergoing a rehab during our stay. Would have been nice to know before booking at full price. Construction workers looking in the windows when we were in the room. The maids came to clean the room and left the door to our room open after they left. Didn't restock and bath supplies or coffee, either. Definitely not worth the money we were charged.
The beds were comfortable and the Truffle Fries were good. Valet staff was exceptional.
April 20, 2015
First, my reservation was misplaced but they still had availability and was able to accommodate. First room they put us in we could smell smoke and had requested a non smoking room. Moved us to the fifth floor... room was okay. Construction of the property was going on the whole time of our travel. Can not open the windows all are sealed shut. Staff was not overly friendly and not overly accommodating. The hotel is a little bit far from a lot of the shops and action in the heart of the quarter. I will not stay at the hotel again....
The courtyard was beautiful
April 20, 2015
There was weddings Friday and Saturday in the court yard which our room faced so it was extremely noisy. Couldn't use the pool as it was for the wedding party's. Manger offered us a smaller room with scaffolding out the window and said there was no chance of getting a refund for moving to a worse room.
Great location, great city!
