Excellent service, nice rooms, free wi-fi, and we were able to check in several hours before check-in.
As soon as we pulled up they were very helpful, we didn't have to wait for anything. The staff was very Nice. They have a very nice pool and patio area. The location of the hotel is in a nice area where you can walk to everything and not hear the noise at night! I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to New Orleans!
The only thing that I didn't like was the bathroom was kind of small.
bed was comfortable - nice pillows - serviced everyday -
charged more for 3 day stay than listed on line. short on electrical plug-ins. no separate area to dress and apply make-up - room was not as expected. was not a 5 star quality room
I liked the location of the hotel, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was nice, spacious, and clean.
The safe in our room did not work. Also the second night that we stayed, some drunk person tried to leave the building through a fire exit door and set off the fire alaram for the entire hotel at 5:30 in the morning. An announcement came overhead and told us to stay in our room while the incident was being investigated. The fire alarm continued to sound every few minutes for the next 20 minutes until another announcement was made that it was a false alarm. Of course we were wide awake at this point, which made it difficult to go back to sleep. Needless to say, we were not in a great mood when the alarm clock sounded.
The location and the hotel itself was very nice. The staffs service was excellent as well.
We had problems with our aircondition, which wouldn't shut down. It costed us a couple of hours of sleep, while the hotel had the problem fixed, but this must be an exception to the rule for this hotel.
The location was wonderful! You had Bourbon Street 2 blocks down but not the noise from it. The food and service was outstanding. All and all it was an outstanding stay at The Mason Dupuy :)
My only complaint would be I couldn't get cool. Thermostat said it was 65° in room, but it in no way felt like it. Don't know if it was the humidity or the a/c.
Location was within easy walking distance to several places we wanted to go. Hotel staff was friendly & courteous.
Handle on hot water spigot in sink kept falling off. Was not able to get change for $100 bill.
35 dollar parking...
Liked the location & the size...not a huge crowded atmosphere. The staff was exceptionally friendly & helpful. (That may have been just a Nawlins trait )
Not a thing...couldn't have chosen a better all-around hotel.
Beautuful and classic courtyard with pool. The front desk and concierge staff were friendly. The gentlemen who brought blankets to the room and took care of the pool area was great.
No refrigerator in the room.
Loved the quaintness, beautiful decor, very comfy bed. Full tasty breakfast! Walked to house tour, french qtr, jazz clubs. Friendly staff. Best weekend ever!!! Thanks
Need to keep citrus water dispenser full in lobby.
The room size, convenience, staff and parking were great.
The total bill seemed high for this time of year.
Staff, location, service, we were on our honeymoon and stayed at this hotel for 3 nights,we recieved a bottle of champagne and strawberries dipped in chocolate on our arrival, everyone was very helpful. Excellent stay.
It was close to all the French Quarter has to offer, but not so close to the craziness of Bourbon Street to be a problem.
I had a room with a balcony facing the street and didn't have any complaints. No street noise and I was on the 2nd floor so was really expecting to hear the traffic. Room was great the restaurant was excellent and you really can't beat the location.
I was surprised by the $36 per day parking as it wasn't mentioned during the reservation process, but it was convenient and I wouldn't have parked on the street even if you could find a space.
The location was great The manager was helpful The night we stayed and the $36 parking was all compt.
The sheets were dirty in many places and we were expected to change them once given new sheets. We were directly across from the ice machine. It was one of the smallest rooms in the hotel. We emailed ahead of time notifying them it was my husbands 51st birthday. We stayed 1 night instead of 2.
sufficient for travelers who don't plan to stay in their rooms for significant periods of time. We were told they are planning extensive renovations in 2015. Staff was very professional.
Last minute availability
Expensive $40 overnight parking.
My wife made the reservation and when we arrived we were told the room she reserved was not available so that pissed me off that's why I would not recommend this hotel to others but other than that a good stay
Staff was friendly, helpful. Jasmine in the restaurant was a delight and pleasure, she has the most pleasant and beautiful personality. She is a valuable asset and one of the reasons we will stay again.
That there is a possibility that the hotel will renovated and the charm of the age and era will be replaced. Please don't.
I liked the room I liked the service men at the cars
I didn't like that after 8:00 am coffee was 2.00! I didn't like that it was 35.00 to park I didn't like that the bathroom was so small
Great location to Bourbon St. And French Quarter, beautiful courtyard, our room was spotless and a/c worked great and made the room very cold, which is just how we like it. The valets and front desk attendants were so nice and helpful and gave great recommendations on restaurants and places to see.
There was nothing about my stay I didn't like! I wish we could have stayed longer!
Position, facilities, pool area, staff, decor of rooms and foyer
Housekeeping changed sheets on King bed, but replaced with Queen sheets. Spent the night sleeping directly on to bed service.
Great location and easy to get around. Nice restaurant and bar
Charge for overnight parking -- excessive
