didn't get the double bed as requested every day and still didn't.
The hotel was undergoing a rehab during our stay. Would have been nice to know before booking at full price. Construction workers looking in the windows when we were in the room. The maids came to clean the room and left the door to our room open after they left. Didn't restock and bath supplies or coffee, either. Definitely not worth the money we were charged.
The beds were comfortable and the Truffle Fries were good. Valet staff was exceptional.
First, my reservation was misplaced but they still had availability and was able to accommodate. First room they put us in we could smell smoke and had requested a non smoking room. Moved us to the fifth floor... room was okay. Construction of the property was going on the whole time of our travel. Can not open the windows all are sealed shut. Staff was not overly friendly and not overly accommodating. The hotel is a little bit far from a lot of the shops and action in the heart of the quarter. I will not stay at the hotel again....
The courtyard was beautiful
There was weddings Friday and Saturday in the court yard which our room faced so it was extremely noisy. Couldn't use the pool as it was for the wedding party's. Manger offered us a smaller room with scaffolding out the window and said there was no chance of getting a refund for moving to a worse room.
Great location, great city!
The Court Yard
Expensive, but to be expected in French quarter..
Location, wonderful room, comfortable bed, nice and small, no big crowds or lines
Dated/small rooms. Would like to see seating area in king rooms.with a table instead of just an armchair. View of the construction dumpster from the room. Loud wedding in courtyard on Sat night.
Great location. Only two blocks from Bourbon Street but very quiet. Gorgeous courtyard. Very comfortable bed.
There was construction going on so we were unable to use the pool or the courtyard.we also receive even no help in obtaining a bellman for our luggage.
The hotel was very clean and had a nice pub on the premises.
We were not given a heads up that hotel would be under construction. And private party in hotel was very noisy and guest were loud which wasn't well coordinated by staff.
Location is very comfortable and everything is in walking distance and ease to get taxi for location that are not close
The hotel is in the French Quarter, but far enough away from the drunken, rowdy crowds. Great location!
The room had a slight musty odor but we were never concerned and did not report it to the front desk.
The staff were very friendly and the accommodations were more than suitable. The location to the French quarter and all it has to offer couldn't have been better, close but not too close.
I didn't like that the room I seen pictures of online was nothing like the room we were given.
I liked how everyone was friendly and prompt.
As a single woman traveler the location of the hotel is not one in which I would have walked from Canal street or the southern side of the French Quarter on my own. I did walk alone in the mornings, however. The water pressure was a bit inadequate and it took a while to be able to rinse shampoo and soap out of hair and off skin.
The comfort of the room was just right for the cost. The pillows were small and tended to compress easily but I had this happen at an upscale hotel in the past so do not think problem is unique to the Maison. I was glad to be away from the noise near Bourbon Street and Canal St. however, and the Maison was well situated.
It was beautiful, clean and staff was very pleasant.
Wished there would have been some type of continental breakfast.
Location, valet parking, & hotel restaurant. I walked everywhere and the hotel was centrally located but far enough away to still be quiet.
Outside valets were not helpful at all.Didn't get cab and mislead on shuttle pickup.
Bed,wifi,location and condition.
I asked twice to have the makeup mirror in the bathroom repaired. It was never done. The walls were very thin and you I could hear everything happening next door.
The location was good. It was within walking distance of major sightseeing places.
The room was small and the bathroom was tiny.
Close proximity to all attractions.
Small hotel close to Bourbon St and all the craziness there. Easy walking distance to Cafe du Monde. Nice bellmen
That the king room- wasn't as big as I expected and not well vacuumed, no refigurator and if loud overly drunks are staying in room next to you, expect to hear them, but if you can definitely try and get upgraded to one of suites
the room service was great, staff both hotel and lounge/restaurant staff were very polite and helpful. The hotel is in the hotel is one of the more upscale hotels with private secured underground parking garage with valet. Greatclocation, two blocks from main bourbon st and then royal st., which if you're out of your 2O's and early 30''s you'll appreciate the distance... With in walking distance to most of the great restaurants. The main suites are very nice and large with private balcony.
We enjoyed our stay. Good location, pleasant and friendly staff. Very nice breakfast in the restaurant.
The price! Dark figure hanging out in our room...
Close to Bourbon Street
The loud banging that was coming from the ceiling area in the room next to the restroom & and the vomit in the elevator!
The proximity to Bourbon Street.
