Majestic Hotel  

La situació és millor del que sembla en un lloc tranquil (els hotel del Loop poden ser molt sorollosos), prop d'una estació de metro i de llocs on poder comprar menjar (com Wholefoods) o menjar a bon preu. El barri és molt agradable. La relació qualitat preu era molt bona i el nivell de neteja del bany prou alt.

L'esmorçar el serveixen en una sala d'estar on no hi ha cadires o taules on poder seure còmodament amb plats i tasses. però entenc que seria una llàstima convertir una sala prou bonica en un vulgar menjador.

It was a bit pricey, but to be fair, we were there on one of the biggest weekends of the year--National Restaurant Assoc Convention & every hotel in the city was booked & elevated their room rates as well. In retrospect, it was worth it.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Liked ambience of the hotel. It is nestled in a quiet residential area. Is within walking distance to Wrigley Field and the small theater district.

It was great to be within walking distance of Wrigley Field. Location was the best attribute for us.

While checking in, I heard another guest complain that his wife's prescription medication was stolen from their room. Hearing that I decided to use the hotel's safe services for my purse when we left to go to the ball game. All they did was tag my purse and set it on a filing cabinet behind the counter. Some "safe". Also the breakfast is very continental. We went elsewhere. And the "fresh baked" cookies hardly tasted that way.

Free breakfast was dismal. Poor quality, selection and there was hardly any seating.

Location was perfect for us. The hotel was lovely and welcoming and I do love a place that includes breakfast. It's so much easier when traveling. The main lobby room was very comfortable for sitting

The bed in our room was too soft and probably needs replacing. The room where breakfast is served is lovely, but there should be a few places to actually sit down an eat. It is difficult to balance one's food while sitting on a couch.

Most friendly staff I've ever found in a hotel. Room was nice and very welcoming.

We loved our stay at the Majestic Hotel ...convenient to everything yet in a very quiet residential area! We will definitately keep it on our list for future trips to Chicago!!!

Location: 12 min to Michigan ave via express bus. Walk to restaurants. Clean rooms. Small and cozy. I plan to stay whenever I go to Chicago. A great find!!!

Staff were very helpful it was a cute hotel lovely breakfast I couldn't fault it at all I would recommend it to anyone!!

Outstanding staff, very friendly and helpful. I liked the neighborhood location, we walked to many restaurants, wrigley field and the area is very safe. The room was clean and comfortable and our suite was roomy. The beds were great and liked the stocked refridgerator, extra mini-fridge, sink, micro, etc.

The room needs a little bit better lighting. The furniture is very dated but does go with the old building. The carpet is clean but very worn so it almost looks dirty but was not.

Great location in Lakeview.The staff was friendly and helpful, my room was impeccably clean and the price was very reasonable.

serving attitute was excellent and the location is very nice, near to the lake, very quite and not far away from subway.

The location was great -- close to the lake and a lot of shops and restaurants.It's located on a quiet street so it was very tranquil. The bed was very comfortable and the staff attentive and helpful.

The walls could have been a bit thicker. Heard the couple next door having a romantic evening if you know what I mean :) Eaten a lot of continental breakfasts and found the Majestic's quality of baked goods was poor. Pre-packaged highly processed sweets and low quality baked goods.

Helpful reception staff – thanks to Muno for her advises. Clean functional rooms. Cosy lounge. Laid back attitude which is very relaxing.

Although bus station and underground are close-by, hotel is still distant to the loop. Need to take a taxi coming back to hotel at night, which is around 20 $ with the tip. Breakfast is not very comfortable at the lounge but you can take your plate to the room.

close to mass-transit and a city expereice without the hassle of Michigan Ave.
