Window ac. Very noisie
This was a great location - wonderful staff - Mona rocked - and the cookies, coffee, and breakfast were awesome! We had our family here for a week - and had such a great time. I HIGHLY recommend this hotel. Great sleep and great beds/quiet location!
Having to leave.
A wonderful and romantic place to stay. Warm free cookies in the afternoon. Attractive and safe area day and night. Fantastic spread at continental breakfast.
This place was wonderful...the location, the staff and room! We highly recommend it.
The staff was so helpful and friendly b
Easy walking distance to Wrigley Field and was in a great neighborhood!!
Needs a remodel bad. Really bad.
Staff was superb and location fantastic
Great location with really nice staff and the gym access was fantastic down the street. Better than the city as it's only a 10 min bus ride away and lakeside is a much safer area.
The staff at this hotel were so professional, personal and very, very helpful. Traveling with my 87 yr old mother who was on oxygen and needed a wheelchair during our stay was a little challenging for me & my sister, however, the staff was so helpful that it all seemed seamless. Roxanna was so helpful with reserving a room that would work and Franky was enjoyable & so polite to my family.
TV options were a little less than expected but in the end, it worked & provided us with what we needed in the end. Besides, you should be in Chicago touring and exploring such a beautiful city.
The staff was so helpful and so friendly. Its located in a beautiful neighborhood and was a nice walk to Wrigley Field. The rooms we're clean and offered munchies and drinks in the room that were really reasonable. I would go back there again without a doubt!
Would've liked a little better selection for continental breakfast.
It was located in a walkable, quiet residential neighborhood. The bed was comfortable and looked clean except for the old decorator pillows and spread at the foot.
There was only one bath towel for each of us. It was in the mid eighties and humid during our stay. Another towel for each would have made it nicer for showering after our daily activities, as well as in the evening/ morning. Also I didn't care for the "community" liquid soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc. Separate items would have assured me they weren't tampered with. The room was very small with the queen bed pushed up against the wall, requiring me to crawl to the foot of the bed in the middle of the night to use the bathroom. In addition to the bed pillows on the bed, there were two useless decorator pillows of questionable cleanliness. There was so much stuff in the fridge/ mini bar that we couldn't put in anything of our own and the top of the dresser was full of items as well. I had to use the desk chair for my suitcase, because my husband used the luggage rack and the only other clear surface in the room was the desk. The satellite television stopped working when a storm blew in one evening.
Breakfast. Noisy AC.
The outside is cute. Jordan (front desk) was awesome! I made an error with my reservation and he solved it for me quickly and efficiently. He really helped me out. Near Wrigley field and the Red Line. The bed was comfortable. Free continental breakfast.
I like boutique hotels but this felt like someone's old dingy apartment. If that's what you like you may enjoy it. It wasn't charming to me-it felt dated and worn. The furniture and decor in the room (and the window AC units) just made it look cheap. This place would be a decent stay if the price were around $100 a night. But for the price... It was not worth it.
Everything was wonderful! True Chicago feel and excellent location...public transit practically at your doorstep. Breakfast with Dan was a wonderful way to start a new day sightseeing! The only place we'll stay when we return to Chicago each year. Staff was magnificent and extremely helpful. Thank you to everyone there!
I loved the charm and the character of the hotel. The staff went above and beyond.
The only negative thing I could add was no in room coffee. Perhaps a kuering.
How close it was to wriggly field
How tiny the rooms were and how it needed updated
The staff here are great, all of them. And it's not like the fake nice as from some corporate hotels. The location is quiet but right where I wanted to be withing walking distance (or public transit).
The room was smaller than I remember. It is what I reserved though. The mattress is getting towards replacement quality
That in order to take a taxi - the manager ran to the end of the block and grabbed one..
Nice friendly staff and full room amenities.
The place is older and the floors squeak. Carpeting and appearance in entry hall need updating and cleaning. As long as you are ok with old, you will be fine.
The concierge was exceptional.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice and quiet area.
The only thing I missed was a safe deposit box in the hotel room.
Great location. Room was spacious and clean. Very comfortable stay. We'll definitely be back!
Beautiful hotel, great staff
Excellent staff. Very helpful with recommendations and any other requests. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Great location. Normal wet bar prices, which is extremely rare!
No coffee maker in room, but continental breakfast every morning.
