Score from 432 reviews Very good
Great food, location, free wi-fi, clean and great looking! Love the fire place in the lobby. Wonderful staff ( except for one lousy waitress) love the daycare they offer the little ones! Super professional and give you peace of mind while you enjoy the snow
The rooms are pretty basic. The walls seamed kinda thin and you could hear the couple walking around next door. Not a big deal though.
Mountains, nice leather furniture in the hall, bed sparks while you're making love on it
The meal was not tasty, quite noisy
Pool area closes at 10:00pm. Why? It is not staffed anyway, so why close so early. Rooms not updated.
Location and staff were great!
Could use some updating
Close to the slopes. Restaurant in main lodge is good. Main building upon check in is nice.
Rooms in Annex building need updating. Bathroom shower/tub in terrible condition. Mold spores on ceiling.
amazing staff and location, just 1min from the main gondola
200m from main entry to ski lift but not ski in-out
Expensive Old US $ 250 a night, but even without a refrigerator? Wifi really slow Not really ski in-out
having a room with a view of the ski slopes and a short walk to the lifts was awesome
To snowboarding and that is it. The hotel is too expensive, has a poor service and charges almost everything. My reservation was 1.350 (already very expensive for 5 nights), but at the end they have included US$ 350 more. They did not have breakfast and I had to pay for water (because they don't have even a fridge in the room)
The Hotel is too expensive. They charge everything. They force you to use their restaurant (bad and expensive). They take too long for the restoration services.
walking to slopes staff was friendly restaurant food was great
you can't control the weather and make it snow....but we had a great time anyway
location! next to the main lift! great staff! great beds!
very very cold rooms! heater not enough to warm the room... breakfast not included...
The access to the mountain was great. Also, right next to the yodler, a mammoth tradition.
The parking was awful. no room in the underground structure and the staff wasn't very helpful.
Very close to snowboarding lift and gondola, very short walk. Very good price. Parking was close.
Stayed in older portion of hotel, they didnt have elevators.
Nobody new anything about services the resort had to offer. Elevators did not work. Heater was one temp for 24hours. ice on inside of window. dogs
Location & friendly staff...
cheap construction means that, if you are downstairs & your upstairs neighbors are rambunctious kids, you will hear it; jumping, bouncing will make the grill of the heater, in your room, shake & make a lot of noise... the noise really was bad.
Extremely disappointed, we paid a lot of money to find that we couldn't even get to the hotel because all the roads were shut. More frustratingly we followed the directions of the website too. We travelled all night long to find we couldn't get to hotel and ended up at a motel. Hotel refused to give us a refund and we lost out on two nights stay. Really frustrating and would not recommend this hotel as frankly you cannot even get to it due to road closures. Should make people more aware of this before booking!
Room heater did not work would not allow a late check out
Near to lift :)
Bedroom was so dark..
Nice location, nice lounge, comfortable beds
Spa area very unclean, bathroom not that well maintained, very expensive for summer, very expensive, high additional charges ( resort fee for what?)
The hotel was decent and the bed was comfortable.
The person who cleaned up our room the first day threw away some of our toiletries we left in the shower. We had just bought them and they were full.
The restaurant was excellent and the staff very helpful. We had a duplex for our room which was a bonus as it would normally sleep 6 but we had it all to ourselves. The night sky was spectacular and, I imagine, the skiing here would be superb for beginners.
The hotel restaurant is wanderful
Small rooms Air condition need repair The rooms need to have face lifting...
Reception area lovely
Drinks in restaurant very expensive
Really enjoyed our stay at Mammoth - the rooms are cosy and comfortable, with tea and coffee facilities. We also enjoyed swimming in the outdoor pool and using the hot-tubs. The staff are super-friendly, especially our waitress Paula (a wealth of knowledge on good local hikes). The location of the hotel is pretty high so it may take you a day or two to acclimatise.....
Some of the communal areas look a little tired, and the food could be more imaginative.
Yurts bus stopped at the reception of the hotel, so was easy to and from our hike. Also there is a nice bar close by with a view of the slopes for a celebratory beer afterwards. Staff were really helpful.
The price seemed to creep up with extra add ons, was not that cheap in the end and the building we stayed in felt like a youth hostel when you entered it - not what i expected for the price.
