Very dark room. Tiny windows.
The room was comfortable and there was an air conditioner!
There was no shower head.
Trash point outside hotel entrance.
Super helpful, friendly staff, whose local knowledge was really useful when it came to finding my way to various places, whether at street level or via the subway. Tips on places to find breakfast were good, too... But above all, the recommendation of the District Tap House bar was a complete winner. Thanks to David for that one!
How many front desk and housekeeping staff does it take to change a light bulb? I'll never know, because despite numerous requests and actually seeing a note to housekeeping being written down, between night 2 of my stay and checking out after night 6, it never happened.
Central location, close to Penn Station, Broadway etc
Pay more attention to laundry, sheets were stained
Shower had good pressure Clean Great location
Very small room Small elevator only fits 3 people. Room wasn't ready on time even after we waited an hour
The hotel is clean with everything you need. Location is great and above all it's a reasonable price for New York. The staff are lovely and helpful. The rooms aren't huge but bigger than I expected given the price and location.
There wasn't much room for hanging clothes or putting stuff away but that's a minor issue.
Location and price.
Good location to Times Square Friendly Staff Price
Not the cleanest Value for money The kind of place where you only want to sleep, but not the place to relax for a few hours after a busy day of sight seeing before going to dinner. Narrow hallways
The best thing about this hotel is the location. Out the door make a left and your pretty much at time square.
The room was very dated, no curtain to block out light, pipes and wires not hidden. Found a tick under the pillow crawling around.
Nothing but a waste of money
Room, toilet, cleaness, size of room.... It's a junk!!
Location- thats about it.
Not like the picture- very tiny elevator, bathroom was gross. Over booked- couldnt check in until late- wouldnt stay again. Ever.
Small and noisy room
The location is Great! 4 blocks walking to port authority. Right in times sq. Refrigerator and microwave in room. Staff was friendly
The elevator might just fit one person and their bag. Only allowed certain #of towels based on room size booked. Maybe 10in TV in queen room. Old spot but will get the job done.
Location in Midtown of Manhattan
The roomservice left a lot to be desired. Dirty towels were not replaced, bundle of hair in the sink. 5 US$ extra charge for wifi, although free wifi was mentioned at the online-booking.
The location The staff Refrigerator
Bathroom Small rooms
Clean and nice rooms ...
a dangerous unsafe dirty hotel somebody will die in that hotel its a ticking time bomb of hazard danger
location was perfect to walk and find everything
was not clean, flat tv screen was extremely small with not cable tv, did not know have to pay for parking at defferent place
Only the location
Rooms too small and floor tiles in the aisles are in a poor condition
Location to Penn station (6 blocks) was priority, and this was a manageable walking distance even with suitcases.
Everything was small - from the matchbox size rooms, to the passages and most importantly, the lift. I realize the hotel is located in an old building, but the renovation has been done on the cheap - tonnes of silicone have been smeared on in the bathrooms for example. The front reception is not professional (again, probably due to lack of space), and the staff were all in casual dress. By comparison to another establishment with the same room rate that I stayed in the previous week and could not get back into for the night of the 25th July, Manhattan Broadway Hotel really falls short in my opinion.
teeny, tiny room, tiny towels, no kettle, wet fridge, badly needs updating... All that said... the staff were very helpful and if you just need a spot to sleep its ok. NOT good VALUE for the money but that said it is NY. it's near the bus station and not the classiest part of town. so if there is nothing else & you need to stay somewhere this will do. would I stay there again.... only if there was no where else...
Clean Friendly stagf
Elevator not working well
