Staff friendly, location good, could have upgraded room and suggest that something one could do which would have been better for longer stays. Location great.
Just a very basic room with no frills if that is what you are looking for.
I only staied for one night, everything was perfect!! Great front desk assistance, I will definitely go back
It was just what we wanted. Cheap & cheerful. Fantastic location, staff were always helpful. Not luxury, but suits the budget traveller perfectly.
I thought the staff were helpful abd friendly, the room I had was clean and tidy.
That I had to pay for wifi, also my booking did not tell me regarding the tax but that was not the accommodations fault
Staff were friendly and helpful. Great location. Easy to go uptown, downtown via subway and walk around midtown.
Bit cramped and the 2 rooms we booked were so different. Lights were broken and safe not working until we asked them to fix it.
Heater doesn't really work. They blamed it on the "old water heater system" and told us that that's the reason that a space heater is in the rooms. Have to pay for wifi, and bag check.
The location of the hotel is very good
I didn't like the overall structure. Although rooms are clean, it isn't what I was expecting. I suggest that booking asks for better pictures on the rooms and the properties so users have a better idea of what they are getting into.
The room was clean
I had purchased a queen room yet I arrived and I ended up with a twin bed and a bunk bed and the beds reminded me of summer camp pretty much metal cots won't stay again
Building is quite old though so you cant expect much. But location is right at the heart of time square.
Room temp is too cold during winter. We were provided with portable heater.
pictures on the internet are nice, it looked like a real hotel. when we arrived we were shocked. it's a cheap, loud, dirty hostel, far away from hotel-standard. never again!
Very good value for money, nice staff and clean.
Room may be small for large parties.
Friendly people working there.
the noise, the room was smelly, no windows or fresh air, the décor, the bed linen, the bathroom - all was so so bad.
Good price and location near the Port Authority. Perfectly acceptable for an overnight stay between buses.
great location, passable amenities, fair price, helpful front desk
The room was cramped and bare, with hard, uncomfortable beds.
Extremely outdated, cleanliness non existent. Would not stay there again. No ventilation, heater controls are broke extremely hot. Would not recommend staying there.
the location and staff
the room was basic , for the money it was not good £800 for 5 nights to me is a lot of money could have got better value at queens of seacacus .but looks like we paid for location rather than comfort . we wont be going back pity the staff were really helpful .
Within walking distance of most of manhattans tourist attractions
Dirty-bed linen, hallways bathroom. run down-crack in bath, sink repairs sub basic standard, tyles chipped and broken throughout hotel,. Idid not feel safe ;customers were renting rooms at an hourly rate!Staff shouting at each other in chinese in the hallway when we arrived continue to fight while we stood waiting.
The hotel was around an hour from JFK. Cost $63 -£40. It's in walking distance of Port Aurhority bus station. Close to Times Square. Subways near by. Lots of places to eat. Every single Staff was excellent they was very very helpful. Was peaceful but could hear kids screaming which happens everywhere you go.
Needs a revamp on the bathroom but I was clean. Bed wasn't too comfy.
Close to Times Square, Empire State building.....center of Manhattan.
Room had no heater, was 30 outside. Pictures on web site are misleading. Horrible facilities, uncomfortable, tiny room, no carpet, noisy, entrance smelled of marajuana, other peoples' hair all over towels and bed sheets(I am bald), window unit right next to bed was leaking cold air in all night. Booked for 10 days, left after one night.
Exellent Location and service, good beds, cleanliness, friendliness.
Much noise during the night, noises are heard clearly lacking insulation doors and windows.
Too much noise from bedroom doors and guests talking
The location was excellent and the staff was accommodating.
There was only overhead lighting - no lamps, and no real heating during cold. Our room was freezing and we had to wait while the small plug-in heater slowly warmed the room a bit. The WiFi worked poorly and was extra.
The staff at the front was very friendly and helpful. The location was great. Walking distance to time square, Madison square garden, Empire State Building and much more.
The room was not super clean. You could see places on the ceiling that were damaged from water or mold had been painted over. The room definitelyko
