Overall experience was really good.
The breakfast was incredible, the staff were friendly.
Way, way overcharged for travel to airport. Taxis are around 55 USD, but the special car the hotel organized was about 20 USD more!! I have a feeling the driver ripped me off, but i was too sleepy to start an argument.
Great Location, comfortable bed and walking distance to Eataly...what more is there?! Area is nice to walk around and easy to get to the subway to go up or downtown.
The view from the room out over the New York Skyline with a great view Freedom Tower. Close proximity of the Subway, cleanliness of the hotel and friendliness of staff.
Nothing bad about the location or hotel but booked a car through the hotel to take us to the airport. On arrival at JFK the driver asked for more money than the receipt said. Not the hotels fault i might add.
Location room service bed
Small room Internet unrelian
The location was great
I stayed for 2 weeks and the WiFi was non-existent for most of the time I was there. This was very annoying as I was there on business. The lifts were also awful - I was on the top floor and it sometimes took up to 10 minutes to get from the lobby to the room and vice versa Business centre is just two desktop computers in a tiny room - useful to some but when there's no WiFi it's just two glorified typewriters
Very good location and friendly staff
Major problems with wireless connection for many days.
Location is good
Free WiFi works bad, especially on a top floors :-(
The location was excellent and very close to times square. The hotel front desk agent when we checked in was very professional and efficient and made us feel welcome after a long journey. We had an issue with the wifi on our second day and the staff were able to handle the matter quickly and with genuine interest in fixing the problem. The room was clean and modern. It was good value for money. I would stay here again. The front desk and guest services staff are great.
There was nothing to not like.
I really loved the location of the hotel: only a few blocks from the Empire State Building, about a mile from Times Square and Broadway, easy to find, many restaurants in the area, easy to get a cab or find a subway, Central Park was only two miles away, and the Soho shopping district was a mile away. The hotel staff was fairly friendly, but extremely busy. The bellhop was able to hold our luggage after we checked out and were out and about in the city.
I didn't like how cramped the hotel was - it was very difficult to maneuver in the room. The lobby was much much smaller than anticipated and the elevators were also very small. Then, when I got to my room my jaw literally dropped in shock as to how small it was. It was about 3/4 the size of my dorm room, including the bathroom (that is not big at all). Overall it was nice, but way too small for my liking. I understand it's hard to have big, comfy rooms in a city like New York, but for $250/ night, I was extremely disappointed.
no hot water when I arrived. reported the problem first evening nothing was done. rang front desk 3 times in the morning before someone was sent up. Problem not resolved so had to have cold shower before work. Still not resolved in the evening I returned. They made a discount on my final payment but service was not acceptable. Air con units also extremely noisy and cannot be turned off through the night.
Very clean, good service.
Very small rooms, but we weren't there much so it didn't matter. Wifi didn't work.
The hotel was a great value. Best decently priced we could find! Location was good, right in the middle of uptown and downtown, and subway stop nearby. It was very clean and beds were comfy! This is obviously not the 4 seasons but they don't claim to be. Great for someone who just wants a good deal but won't sacrifice for cleanliness
Friendly staff, lovely clean rooms and great location. I wiuls highly recommend this hotel ! The area is central and lovely and quiet at night. The restaurant and food was lovely too.
Nothing ! There isn't anything bad about this hotel !
Bed and pillows were very very comfortable
Sounded like a brothel on my floor. Tried to order room service and kept calling but nobody answered and kept going do voicemail.
I hade a issue with a staff member cursing at me. And yelling n nothing was done about ot al all it's was a bad stay I would never stay at a holiday in agagin or send any one their
This hotel has a friendly staff, a restaurant with surprisingly good food, and is a great accommodation for any type of visitor.
Two elevators in a tall hotel might be a problem during peak periods, but it wasn't a problem for me.
Friendly staff, comfortable beds. Late check-out availability for loyaty program members. Very good location, close to subway and main attractions around midtown.
A bit small rooms and very small bathroom. Anyway clean.
Staff were very helpful -- printing my boarding pass, arranging car to LGA
The bed are soo comfortable. they find a taxi for you so you dont have to be be in a cold to get a taxi when you wanna go out. Their breakfast is good. There isnt any noise to worry about. Just ask for the 25 floor. The best floor to be on. overall had a great stay.
Location is great when you have to be all over the city - away from the mania of Times Square, but close to subway and train stations. The staff was also friendly - which is nice but does not quite make up for the poor condition of the hotel itself.
WiFi hardly worked at all. The room was very run down - furniture was scratched to the point of splinters come off the fake wood. Stains all over the ceilings - bathrooms were old and worn. Walls were thin - always heard noise in the hall. Lint and hair on the beds. Gross! Would not stay here again, even for low prices...there are too many other options in NYC.
Rooms are kind of tight
I liked how clean my room was and how friendly the staff were.
