Holiday Inn Manhattan 6th Ave - Chelsea    

I found most of thing that I need around: bar,restraints, tailor, spa. Really enjoyed

We were placed in a smoking room and floor and once brought to the staffs attention they did nothing to help us out and were rude. My girlfriend has asthma and was difficult for her to breathe and be in the room on that floor because the odor of cigarette smoke was so overwhelming. The front desk said we can switch rooms the next day but when I asked the next day they said they had no availability. This made our sleep and trip very uncomfortable and holiday inn didn't care or seem to care about correcting the problem.

The staff was great! Pilar was helpful and friendly!! Location is good.

You wait every time 10 mns to get elevator, we got a room for 4 that was sooooo small, smallest bathroom ever. At that price there are much better deals elsewhere

Friendly staff, good location

Room too small, housekeepers were a bit loud, Housekeeping trolley left out in the hallway days on end, Hot water took ages to warm up

restaurant was a little run down and expensive although the waffles were pretty good.

Great location, just off 6th ave, close to 23 and 28 subway. Easy to walk to penn station, Madison sq garden and times sq is not too far away. The staff were also very helpful and friendly.

Quite a bit of noise in the corridor with laundry trolleys blocking routes all day long!

I've been first time ever in this hotel and I like everything.

The staff was accommodating and extremely friendly. The location is amazing; we were steps away from the subway and really from everything the city had to offer. We were traveling with 3 people so I felt the Holiday Inn was reasonable in price for what we were getting.

We had two double beds and one was super uncomfortable, I think the springs were broken.

room very small not enough elevators at busy times of day had to keep ringing for additional towel as were 4 of us and always 3 towels!

The staff was exceptional. Rooms were ready early. Everyone was helpful and seemed eager to please.

Location is quite convenient for sightseeing or shopping. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Room was spacious enough for 1-2 people, and everything worked just fine.

It is a bit overpriced - more than 200$ per night without breakfast. Thin walls - so if your neighbors are noisy or if the hotel stuff decides to fix the lock in the room next door around midnight - you won't get asleep :(

Excellent value for money, 15 minute walk to Times Square and shopping on 5th Avenue. Our room on the 21st floor had a spectacular view of the Empire State Building.

Good all around accommodation .

I was a bit concerned about the hotel after some of the previous reviews, but no need to be!!! The staff are lovely and welcoming, the hotel is small but functions very well. Waiting for lifts is no problem, a few minutes is all we waited at most. Wifi is excellent and the restaurant next door is pretty good too. This is not a luxury hotel by any means, but the beds are extremely comfortable and while yes, the rooms are compact, how much room do you need in NYC? It is a few blocks from Madison Square Garden, Empire State Building and Times Square and only 1 block from the number 1 subway to take you uptown or downtown. We stayed for 6 days and loved it.

No complaints - seriously a great value hotel with lovely staff. Great job Holiday Inn!
