Just about everything except mildew shower curtain.
Shower curtain was mildew. I will admit that I can detect mildew when most cannot.
The location is very good, the hotel rooms are very comfortable. The fitness centre is great. Very clean.
The hotel does not give a breakfast but there are many restaurants around.
price cleanliness comfort fridge, coffeemaker and microwave are in the room
The taxes are not within your control but are crippling!
Extremely helpful staff. Our large for NY room was at the back of the hotel. It had a part view of the river, view of roof gardens and tall buildings which were pretty at night and surprisingly quiet. The pool looked good, though we were too busy to take advantage of it. Plenty of snacks, coffee etc available in the lobby.
Located near fifth avenue, clean and tidy, modern, helpful staff and good facilities
A little way away from a tube station but plenty of taxis
Stayed with my Mom & Sister 4 5 nights, room plenty big 4 us & our 3 massive suitcases, beds super comfy, shower excellent. Housekeeping & door staff, super helpful & friendly. Espically Oly who sorted a car for the airport!
Only downside, no food/bar option in the hotel, am told that there is a view to installing a bistro in the near future so thats exciting!!
Decent value for the price. Very clean, very good service and friendly staff.
Not a great location, poor wi-fi speed.
bed was comfortable Staff was nice
No lounge or place for breakfast in the morning We checked out a day early and diud not get our money back
The room was very comfortable.
The noise from the adjoining room was terrible. We were kept awake until 4:00 in the morning by youngs girls in the other room. The noise goes right through the door.
Good Pillows and shower
Towels in Bathroom could been thicker
The comfort and the facilities.
Too fat away from the subway station.
Spacious room with good bedding and comfortable bed. The location was excellent, close to a bus stop, the subway was a bit far, but manageable. Seattle coffee shop around the corner and good proximity to grocery stores. Nothing to complain about.
The staff was wonderful and very helpful, the rooms were cleaned in a very timely matter and done perfectly. We didn't use the pool because of a time issue but it looked very inviting. The business center was very helpful and the fact that there was someone there to get a cab for us was wonderful. Our stay was very pleasant!
We didn't like the fact that there were no breakfast options available at the hotel. We felt that a continental breakfast should be offered. We went to the place that was suggested (Timothys) and ended up spending $40+ dollars for an egg omelet and coffee which we thought was totally ridiculous. Also. We are used to a firm mattress and ours was very soft making it a "not so restful" sleep. We were also told by your security staff that the dead bolts on the doors (which did not work on our door) were not necessary. My husband is a recently retired (26 years) Regional Operations Manger of Hilton Corp. And knows that this is not true. Dead bolts are necessary and put there for the safety of the guests! You should make your security staff aware of this and not have them make up a story that if the staff needs to get into the room, the dead bolt would be a disadvantage to the staff! If the staff needs to get into a room they can! The vending machines in the lower level also need to be checked and in working order at all times. They were not working during our stay.
My employees were very pleased all around with the facility and location.
Clean room, comfortable bed, inoffensive decor, appropriate frills and common facilities, location moderately convenient if you need to be specifically in the Upper East Side (good for FDR Drive, but a bit of a walk from the subway stop).
Though staff was mostly competent, they flubbed the check-in in an annoying manner. After booking, I received the usual "we're glad you will be staying with us, please let us know if there is anything we can do to make your stay better" email from the front desk. When my flight was delayed, I responded to this email asking management to allow my wife, brother and/or sister, who were travelling separately, to check into my rooms ahead of me. Though the hotel received my email, the desk clerk still gave my wife and sister a very hard time when they arrived ahead of me and asked to be checked in to my rooms. In retrospect, it seemed as if they were not serious when the sent the email asking if there was anything they could do to help.
Good local restaurants. Staff very helpful on tourist questions.
Rather long walk to subway.
Nice to be away from all the crowds. Handy for subway & Central Park
Staff was friendly and very helpful. Good variety of restaurants nearby. Close to the MET. Clean room with comfy bed and nice ammenities. Loved it!!!
Location was great. Staff were so friendly !!
location to family, good value for the money
cleaniless and friendly staff
location was a bit far for us to travel into downtown and midtown, otherwise overall was very please with this hotel.
Everything about the hotel except the location.
Unsafe to walk around local area so taxi fares mount up - $15 one-way to mid-town. We were followed by one unsavoury character on an afternoon walk to Central Park until we took action to lose him. I have worked with teenagers all my life - I wasn't imagining this! Others hanging about opposite hotel in evening.
Diners and grocery store nearby Can walk to Central Park and met in about 30min, I think it's a reasonable distance for tourists as you can explore the city more during the walk
A bit far from subway station
