1) must have a 2nd chair in the room for couples 2) must have hooks on wall for winter coats
Wish they had a restaurant for breakfast on site.
We stayed here when we went to New York for Spring Break. When staying at a hotel my kids love to swim and this one of the few hotels that have a pool in New York!
Clean, courteous staff, market area to buy snacks, fruit, drinks
I wish they had breakfast. We should have made due with lobby cereal bowls rather than going out.
The kids loved the pool! The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating.
The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. Any questions we had were answered clearly. We have never been to New York so the staff was very helpful with directions and places to eat.
Heavy cleaning product smell. Needs fan in bathroom to vent steam.
Price very fair for Manhattan. Windows open. Honored our request for a high floor and early check-in. Garage only one block away.
Loved the decor, the bed was big and comfy and location was great.
Heater was too loud. Shower was also very loud.
Comfortable bed, great location (only 30 minutes to JFK)
Had a friend stay in our room until their room became available and the King Suite pull out is not a full size couch pull out. Matthress was very thin and you could feel the bars underneath. We knew it was a pull out but it's beyond uncomfortable if you have someone sleep on it.
Stayed in King Suite..staff was VERY courteous and helpful. This was our first visit to New York and front desk staff were more than helpful to point us in the right direction. Hotel was very clean
First time in New York and the hotel was fantastic staff were really friendly and so helpful. The whirlpool, sauna and stream rooms were brilliant after a long day of sight seeing and shopping. I would definitely recommend and stay again at this hotel
1. furniture was FULL of dust. 2. found hair clips IN THE SHEETS. 3. after reporting the lack of cleanliness the TV remote control and iphone charger misteriously disappeared. we reported this...we got a new remote control after calling three times and waiting 24 hours. 4. some of the staff seemed not to care about the issues we had. 5. wifi had a lot of issues
location comfortable bed swimming pool
Close to high way.
Little bit noisy from outside. For someone maybe hotel is far from metro
Hotel is very nice, room was very clean, pleasant staffs, nice fitness.
The heat or air was out of my control I was cold to the point I slept in my sweats and a sweater
The bed was comfortable The 12 noon check out
Room was too hot.
Its a Marriott!!!!
No parking had to pay $30.00 for overnight and $50.00 to valet park. there's a hotel hold that's more than the stay for the night on my credit card.
No restaurant. No bar. Mattress worn hubby and I rolled into middle all night.
Very clean. Convenient location.
Price was excellent for upper east side accommodations.
The hrs of the pool were very limited.
Love that there is a pool and gym
The whole reason we stayed here was for the pool. As I have a 7 year old daughter. The pool hours are awdul. 10-6 on the weekends!Really? Tourists are out and about at this time!
Beds were very comfortable, room was an okay size. Staff was friendly and very helpful.
Hotel needs a bar
Cleanliness....and easy access to public transport
friendly helpful staff
No smoking .they should have rooms where you could smoke.
The pool and fitness room
The WiFi was next to useless (5 bars but almost zero data rate, 3G was faster!) )and the beds were far too firm!
The pool was great, however 10a-6p weekend hours were horrible! The pool needs to be open till 9p at the earliest, and 10p preferably on the weekend. No continental breakfast, why not!? At ~$300+/night a few NYC bagels + cream cheese seem warranted.
