Love that there is a pool and gym
The hrs of the pool were very limited.
Cleanliness....and easy access to public transport
Hotel needs a bar
friendly helpful staff
The pool and fitness room
No smoking .they should have rooms where you could smoke.
The pool was great, however 10a-6p weekend hours were horrible! The pool needs to be open till 9p at the earliest, and 10p preferably on the weekend. No continental breakfast, why not!? At ~$300+/night a few NYC bagels + cream cheese seem warranted.
The WiFi was next to useless (5 bars but almost zero data rate, 3G was faster!) )and the beds were far too firm!
Bellman helped us get cabs
We have stayed in several hotels in NYC and this was our least favorite. Room is tiny!!!! Location is far from everything. Only food there is their drinks and snacks and they were very expensive-$3/water
The staff is so friendly and welcoming! Room had a great view, bed was so comfortable. Fitness center was great!
The pool and gym area was great.
The television and lighting
Good gym facility
Coffee available on site only during a.m. Hours
Myself and my mother stayed here for 5 days. The room and beds were very comfortable and there was hardly any noise from outside. The staff were very friendly and answered any queries we had through the whole stay.
It was hard to find somewhere to eat which was close to us. A small breakfast in the hotel would be nice.
The staff could not have beven nicer
+ Value for money is OK + Good, clean and comfortable room and a bed + Free WiFi + Mini-shop at the reception somewhat compensates for the lack of the breakfast
- Location is a bit far from the center and not too close by the metro station, but that is manageable - No breakfast available at the hotel
Elevators very slow
We liked our stay here and we would come back. It is good value for money -- for New York city. The rooms were roomy enough and comfortable. There are good restaurants nearby and it is a five to ten minute walk to the subway.
Love everything about the hotel.
The location is great. The staff are friendly and helpful. My room was relatively small, but was totally fine for a business trip.
I stayed here the night my mother died. The staff were all so kind and went out of their way to make me feel calm and taken care of. Even why en I neglected to make the reservation for an extra day, they greeted me warmly when I returned later that evening. "We were waiting for you!" They let me stay in the same room, nothing was moved out, even though they thought I might have run out on the bill. They even gave me a discounted rate and offered me free food or beverages from their mart. I shall be returning often, as I still need to come into the city to help out my dad now. It's conveniently located, and just a few short, safe blocks away from my dad's apartment.
No breakfast....that's about it.
Staff, comfort and cleanliness. A couple of local shops/bars/restaurants locally.
Location was just a bit to far away for tourists exploring the city. The subway was a good 15 minute walk.
The jacuzzi was great, the gym was also good. The staff was helpful.
The Sauna never reached the proper temperature to fully enjoy it. The steam room took one hour to reach the proper level.
The hotel needs more elevators
Off the beaten path; convenient to museums and subway!
the fitness center
no bar and no breakfast there
The beds were old and saggy. We were promised two queens but were given two doubles. The room was hot and the noise in the hallway was so loud that it woke us up several times during the night. The front desk checked another party into our room so someone was trying to get into our room at 10:00 pm.
