The desing of the room is nice. Very good shower! Some rooms are very small and noisy. We were first given a very small room that had no view. the window was blocked by some tube that made a terrible noise. We were then given a room that was much bette but there was a lot of noise caused by the street. |

I like the design of the hotel, particularly the feature fire in the lobby. My deluxe room was spacious and well laid out. The bathrooms could do with an upgrade.Shower curtains, yuk! |

I like the location just in the middle of Manhattan and close to both downtown and uptown. The rooms were even though quiet and very clean. Also it was very nice that there were two computers with internet in the guest lounge on the 10th which you could use for free. |

Excellent service and great location. The hotel has friendly staff and a comfortable, clean amenities. There was some dissimilarities between what the amenities offered by the website and those actually given ie. don't expect a empire state building view or a bathrobe if you're in a standard room! |

Small Quiet intimate building and layout They put us in a smoking room and did not tell us it was smoking. We had to request to be moved and they did not have a 2 bed so we had to get a one bed and they offered no discount or apology |

The hotel's design is quiet appealing and so is its mid-Manhattan city location. It is also quite quiet. That's good. Yes there is ! On the day I arrived with a wrong credit card I was treated with basic indifference except fort the existential kindness of one of your front desk staff. Miss Ursula. She has a great future in the hotel/hospitality business. Kindness personified. It would help to prominently advertise which credit card you except ! Ortherwise you are in the wrong industry ! I have been traveling around the world for thirty years as an artist, academic and writer and kindness and service are the operative words in the hospitality business. Money values are transitory : surely you should be aware of this - more so - given the recent Global Financial Meltdown. Miss Ursula is people-oriented. Learn from her. |
