The Marcel at Gramercy  

El hotel esta estratégicamente ubicado para poder ir andando a Wall Street, a Times Square, al Central Park, etc, ya que esta en el medio de todo, y así poder conocer de verdad sus calles, sus gentes, como viven realmente los neyorkinos porque no es tan turistada como Times Square. Además, el hotel es muy acogedor, de gran diseño, buenísima cama y geles de baño. Volvería si o si, yo vi algún comentario desafortunado y me hizo dudar, pero finalmente sopese q si tiene mas de un 8 de puntuación tiene que ser bueno, y efectivamente acerté, es decir, siempre hay un gilipollas que se debe de quejar de todo y por todo en la vida.

Me gustaría que el wifi fuera gratuito porque aunque tienes dos ordenadores e impresora gratuitas, de 7 am hasta las 11 pm, no entiendo porque no puedo tener internet también gratis en mi habitación.

Esta bien ubicado, a dos calles del metro 23rd linea 6. La habitación era confortable y el colchón muy comodo. El lavabo estaba muy bien, la ducha tenia mucha potencia y el secador tambien! Además entre los jaboncitos y champu, tambien habia acondicionador para el pelo.

Aunque la ventana estaba cerrada, se escuchaba el ruido de la calle. Pero creo que todo ny es igual..

I thought the room was very well thought through, with good details. Although it was small it had everything I needed. It was very clean and I liked the decor and the fittings in the bathroom.

I liked the location! The hotel was very close to the subway station (23rd and 4th) but since the weather was perfect, I could just walk. The room was kept clean and the staff were very professional and friendly. I would come back again.

Overall, the lighting was very dark..it was pit black in the elevator, which felt kind of weird during the daytime. The room was also dark and shady, so it may not be right for those who plan to read or write (type?) in the room for business. What I disliked the most was the curtain. It was black-and-white striped, and reminded me of Asian funerals.

Thiught the staff were exremely helpful. Quite modern, very pleasant decor, close to good eating restaurants, bars and cafes.

Excellent staff and great room and general location in the city.

Breakfast was the only weak spot - the "buffet was light at best and not well attended" The roof deck more than made up for it for me though.

The $12.50 breakfast experience wasn't up to par. Very limited in variety and not too fresh.

The hotel is at a very nice location close to all 23rd street metro stops making it easy to go anywhere in ny. The staff was really helpful whenever required. Also, the bar/restaurant of the hotel is a perfect place for dinner or a drink.

Our first room was extremely small (barely 10 sq.M.) As we had to change room halfway through our stay, the heating was centrally controlled in our second room & the room was extremely hot every morning making it impossible to sleep after 7 am. In general the hotel is a good 3 star hotel but I think the same facilities and comfort can be found also in much cheaper hotels in ny.

The staff was extremely helpful, our room was clean and comfortable, and our upgrade to a room with a king-sized, very comfy bed, was greatly appreciated! Thank you, Gramercy! If our son comes back to play at the Gramercy Theatre, we will definitely stay again. It was also a nice surprise for us that our son's band stayed at your hotel as well. He was only one floor beneath us!

Price and convenience

A few maintenance issues, cable tv not working well when I arrived, electronic door locks suffering from problems due to low batteries

Location and friendly staff' also very pleasant sitting room with computers and coffee

The air freshener used throughout was a real problem and was not fixed

Rooms well kept- very clean- helpful reception -good location well organised -one of the better hotels I have stayed in
