Proximity to Aventura Mall. Apt is simple but confortable, with basic amenities, enough for a family with no frills. 1. Hotel needs severe refurbishing: restaurant has the same carpet table cloths, etc... from its old good times in the 1960's: 2. The valet service (outsourced) is TERRIBLY BAD. Staff is rude, negligent, and muddy. Parking is across from Collins, so expect to see your car only 20/25 minutes after requesting it, if not during rush. 3. Staff at the hotel are "okay", however, a SERIOUS and thorough training program on all aspects of hospitality should be considered immediately.

Bed Bugs in three different rooms. I am now covered in Bed Bug bites. The staff was very indifferent to my concerns and did not give me a full refund for my stay.

Nothing the stay was horrific!!!! The staff washed my room room phone luggage with vomit!!! I had to call the police for saftey!!!!! The Valet was irresposible with my vehicle. They were asked not to move the car least as necessary they moved it 10 times side to side just to aggravate us. They washed my room and belongings with vomitt when I was not in the room The management did not respond or even validate this horrific incident I called the police for my own saftey. There eleators are all out of inspection and work poorly.

There were 2 good things about the hotel. One, you are right on the beach and the pool. The pool staff was excellent and the valet staff was excellent also. Hotel needs updates for the money.

I loved the beach front. And I loved that no one bother me asking me every five minutes my room key and number they just treated me nice and they just left me alone. The 15 dollars for parking my car was fine and the 10 dollars hotel charges per day was okay too. I also love that they let us stay at the pool later on. I have been a business Manager for many years and I think that it's very important in a hotel to have a bar and restaurant by the pool no one wants to be inside their rooms all night or go shopping for food late at night. People are on vacation they want service they dont want to be inside their room locked up... The beach is very nice so it was a nice weekend because of mother nature! People go to a hotel for a vacation. It was my husband's birthday and i wanted to give him a nice time at the hotel with a beach front, But thank you anyway for everything! I just did not like that I had to pay for chairs to seat at the beach. The 10,00 dollars per day and 15.00 dollars for parking they should have included in the price of the room so you know ahead what you are spending. But they were missing a bar and restaurant at the pool. They had poor service in that area and at breakfast time.We had to go buy some Pizza and Wine at Publix instead of having served to us at the bar. The Bar at the pool and beach front was closed Friday night and Saturday night. Also breakfast should be served until 11 am to give time for people to rest and not rush on their vacation. My husband was very upset that we had no bar and restaurant in the evenings outdoors.

Their beach/location on Miami Beach is fabulous. Rooms were clean, great view of the ocean in most. Balcony was a nice added bonus. Almost all of the staff were either unhelpful or were not knowledgable at all with most of our questions.

The location is excellent. It is clear that sometime ago it was a 5 star hotel, but the maintenance has made it come down to a fair hotel. The beaches are great and clean, that is a plus. Access is excellent. Good shopping in the vicinity. Some of the crew don't provide a good costumer treatment and apparently are more aware of tips instead of doing their job. We as costumer require a good treatment and the tips will be earn and not the other way around. Elevators need maintenance or replacement.

The location was good, the staff was very bad , all I mean all the help had a chip on there shoulders, not being able to park your own car is unfair, the fees were over $100.00 so the booking price didnt really save me anything, the Hotel is very old and needs updating The beach location only

Located on the beach, the pool was very good; big and lots of chairs. It had easy access to the beach. The hotel had plenty of shops, a great Italian take out place in the basement, and a good, reasonbly priced restaurant on the main floor. The breakfast fwas adequate - eggs, cereal, yogurt, fruit, bagels, etc. Staff was cooperative and helpful. The room had a full kitchen which came in very handy. This was probably a first class hotel sixty years ago,but really showed its age. It was run down. Worn carpets, scuffs and scratches in common areas, rooms painted over numerous times. At $180 per knight it seemed overpriced, but I guess for Miami Beach in January, it wasn't too bad.
