Front desk was really nice! Neighborhood is super safe! I would recommend to friends!
The place was extremely unclean. The fridge had mold in it and the microwave was dirty. The bathroom was very old and grimy feeling. It was a stand in shower and I felt dirtier after the shower than before. There was also some moldy looking grime by where the soap should be placed in the shower. This was an extremely unpleasant stay. The carpets were DIRTY. I have no idea when this place was last cleaned. Horrible. The motel is close to downtown, which is primarily why I chose this place--it was cheap for the location. On hindsight, I would rather pay more and have a decent stay elsewhere. Not worth it at all.
The gentleman at the desk was friendly and very helpful. Yes the place is dated but upgraded. Room was clean and perhaps a notch better than neighboring facilities. Plenty of parking. A reasonable stay at a good location. Would stay again.
Some road noise from aurora, but that goes with the territory.
plenty of room (room 237) to sit with friends; good breakfast cafe three blocks away
Aurora street is unattractive
Location to Seattle nightlife was good. Walking distance to Gasworks Park. Friendly staff. Fairly clean. Double room had a divider.
A little bit of a sketchy area. Not the cleanest or nicest by any means.
The staff were very attentive and helpful
Needs new carpet!! and a coat of paint.
Good value. Convenient parking. On Aurora Avenue ... which is both an advantage and a disadvantage ... as Aurora is hard to get onto and off of. But, centrally located.
Motel is somewhat dated ... but still comfortable. Good enough for an over-night stay.
It was clean and neat. Very affordable. Friendly staff.
No pop machine.
It was cheap. You get what you pay for.
Rooms need updating. No vending machine.
You can't do much better pricewise and still be close to downtown. It's a 15 minute bus ride to Seattle Center and a 5 minute ride to our favorite bar Leny's Place.
Rooms are small and not quite immaculately clean.
Good location if you travel by car, and want to do things in Fremont. Parking outside room.
Cigarettes on the floor. Rather dark room. Booking.com, on the booking side, tells that there is a continental breakfast. On some place it is mentioned that you could get coffee and muffin. The truth is that there is only muffin, no continental breakfast. Booking.com should change the booking side.
great location. close to fremont area.
correctional facilities release papers for in dresser..
Them calling barely thawed muffins and a cup of weak coffee breakfast
I like the price of the room and the fact that it is very close to many things to do in Seattle including downtown, the zoo and Beth's Cafe.
I think the bathroom needs a fan and an electrical outlet installed. Its not often that you see a bathroom that is missing these much needed necessities.
Location was pretty good.
The bed,the bathroom was dirty
dirty underwear in drawer, poor service, dirty room, loud tennants, terrible management
It was my first stay in a motel and my first stay in USA. Was very good and comfortable. I enjoyed it a lot. Especially the motel's charisma. I was excited. Better than 5* hotels. :-) It is not joke.
Great location as easy and fast to Seattle sights. Old motel but clean. Ordered food in from pizza place and food was excellent! Great price for large city!
Bathroom was very small. Clean but old motel. Would stay here again.
Easy to find; easy to access; sign in and out was quick, easy, and painless; rooms are quiet, dark, and warm for a good night's sleep; wifi was acceptable (though not great)
Rooms are sparse; facilities are showing signs of ageing, and/or wear and tear; the provided toiletries and linen are relatively low quality.
I loved how close we were to the city and the price was reasonable.
Location, location, location. On highway 99 with easy access to so many parts of Seattle. Double pane windows block out noise from nearby traffic. Rooms are clean. Bathroom is quaint. Continental breakfast included.
Wi-fi is not always reliable. Laundry machines take a very long time to do the job. Dryer is expensive at $2.00.
The man at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Room was clean (though did really need a facelift) and comfortable. We paid what we expected to pay based on our booking with booking.com. No arguments or issues with our booking. We really enjoyed having the fridge and microwave in the room as it helped us save on the costs of eating in restaurants. We bought a variety of food at a local grocery store and just used the microwave to reheat it. We spent about half as much on food as we would have had we eaten in restaurants for every meal. This place has great potential if updated and cleaned up a bit.
Furnishings and fixtures need updating. Things felt old and looked used. No hairdryer in the room (I purposely left mine at home assuming there would be one in the room). No vending machines (other than the ice machine) or snacks on the premises. Was disappointed in the "continental breakfast". Was expecting more that a bit of coffee and tea with a few pre-packaged muffins. Not what we have come to expect from continental breakfast. It was a bit too far from downtown for our liking. Though we did have our car, it would have been nice to be within walking distance so we didn't have to worry about parking downtown every time we wanted to go.
!) Courteous and efficient staff 2) Comfortable bed and pillow 3) Ability to block out much street noise; relatively quiet, considering the location.
1) Rather seedy neighborhood. 2) No coffeepot in room. 3) Minimal amenities in room for the money. 4) Only coffee and tiny muffins for breakfast. Coffee was gone early on.
Good location to the city and spots we liked to visit.
The traffic flow was only one way since there was a divider in the center of the highway. Not so convenient for going short distances and returning to the motel.
