Location. Value. Clean.
price, location (easy to bus into downtown), staff, spacious room, hot shower, good free wifi, furniture a little outdated but clean and comfy, free parking
very slight smell, not to bad, but present. "continental beakfast" was coffee and muffins
It is close to downtown reachable by Bus No 5. Big rooms. I think the rate is ok.
Direct on Interstate 5 ( loud). Breakfast is just, coffee or tee and Muffin. Is not the newest one.
Staff very friendly. Easy to city. Economical.
everything is ok
Excellent location! Close to UW and Green Lake.
Older motel. Could use renovation.
The staff was very courteous.
The fridge didn't work at all. 3 TV remotes later, and the volume still didn't work on the TV. The office didn't open until 8 .m., so no coffee.
Staff were very nice & interesting. Location was good, a few minutes drive into downtown.
Breakfast was minimal.
It was walking distance from places we needed to get to. The room was cheerful. Nice to have a microwave and a frig.
The breakfast was sad.No clothing hooks in the bathroom.
Lots of outside lighting made you feel safe at night.
The rooms are run down and in need of a COMPLETE refurbishment. The shower could not be adjusted for water to not spray in rest of bathroom.
The bathroom stunk like urine and there was no way to leave the window open all night if you are on the first floor because someone could just swing the window open and climb in. The room had this musty smell that came from the dark dirty carpet that no amount of airing would eliminate.
It's in a part of town that has seen its better days but it's relatively cheap. Decor is 70's (you get an actual key, not a key card). Rooms have fridge and microwave. Good public transit to downtown. If all you want is a shower and a bed- it's a good value
Door locks flimsy
Cheap, close to bus to downtown
Old, dated rooms. Small bathtowel, could hear other people
staff near fermont
poor wifi bad couch smell in wc
Front desk guys are both nice.
Stinking! Stinking! Stinking!
No breakfast, traffic noisy, location, grody bathroom
Great Stuff and Service! the stuff there are so friendly. My friend got sick during the trip and they really take special care of you!
Friendly staff. Reasonable price for location. Nearby there are good places to eat
They could care a bit more cleanliness
The gentlemen who checked us in was very pleasant and enjoyable to talk to, I dare say he was the best part of the stay. The staff was also kind enough to contact me about a package I had sent to the hotel that arrived late, beyond our stay. We were happy enough with our first experience that we booked again at the end of our vacation, enabling me to pick up the package we had missed the first time around.
The rooms are dated but everything is clean and in working order.
if you have a car, location is great. Large room with two beds.
The staff questions when were we checking out before check out time.
Wifi doesn't work in rooms
I grew up in Seattle when this motel was rather new - which is to say the early 1960s. I doubt that it has changed much since then. When was the last time you saw floral wallpaper in a motel room? This place could use a major upgrade, but we enjoyed our one night there. The staff at the office were very friendly and helpful in orienting ourselves. The main thing about this place is location. Though situated on a busy street, the surrounding neighborhood is residential and feels safe. A short walk takes you to the Fremont area, with its many restaurants and shops. Unlike the properties farther north on Aurora Avenue, there were no fast-food joints or convenience stores or gas stations to attract a "nocturnal" type of ambient characters. Getting to and from the I-5 was easy.
The towels were hopeless - threadbare and old. TV reception was sketchy. Never was able to connect to the Wi-Fi.
