“ we stay here every year and it gets better and better. they renovated and the rooms are large and comfortable. the pool is super clean and is a relaxing place to hang out after the beach. the best part is the walk to the beach is not long and then you come back to a quiet place to sleep. ”

They had a hotel room available during a busy weekend. And they extended the checkout hours for us because of running a half marathon! It seems a little pricey for the facility, but it is close to the beach.

Room had a excessive odor from housekeeper trying to deodorize previous stays. Box spring to the bed needs to be replaced. Otherwise everything was fine. Room 2. Sept 22.

Was there for a concert and the venue, as well as the beach, was within an easy 5 minute walk. The room was very clean, had a fridge and cable TV. Would have liked to see a more secure lock on the door. As two women traveling alone, I would have liked to see more than a simple door lock in the door knob. Also, there was no ice machine. I paid a dollar for a bag of ice at the office, which I wouldn't have minded except that it was frozen into a solid block... I'm not talking drop it in the parking lot and it loosens up, I'm talking jackhammer time! No biggie. If I was going to another show at the Casino Ballroom I would not hesitate to stay there again for the price and convenience.

The bed was comfortable. The room didn't have a door. It was a four foot aluminum slider that must have been 30 to 40 years old and was difficult to open and close. There was no heating unit in the room, only an old air conditioner. I would not stay there again.

The pool and the location to the beach and shops. There should be an ice machine for the patrons. Get rid of ashtrays and abide by the no-smoking signs and have no one smoke, especially cigars by the pool. You need new pillows that are not soooooo thick and please steam-clean the carpets -- they were disgusting. I took a shower and scrubbed my feet and then when I walked around the carpet and went to put my shoes on they were filthy !!

Location was ok Beds were very uncomfortable and no coffee and tea available in the morning. Walked 3 blocks to get coffe on the morning. I felt for that price they could have offer free coffee or tea.

The fact that we could bring our dog was a real plus - especially considering its prime location, between the beach boardwalk & an excellent marsh for walking in the AM & at sunset. Noise was a non-issue & parking was reliably close... However, I'm hoping the cleanliness problem was a result of being put into a pet-friendly room; even after the cleaning services hit our rooms in the mornings we found plenty of sand & questionable stains on our sheets which proved to be uncomfortable for sleeping. In addition, our air conditioner was so old, it shook off the wall & made loud screeching sounds throughout the night, which worsened sleeping conditions, especially on the first night.

Marguerite Motel was a great stay for the money. I will stay here again! The beds were sooo comfy!! The kids loved the pool. The walk to the beach was just right up the street...so perfect. We had a great time!

My reservation with Booking.com for the Marguerite Motel was cancelled by the motel. Although I received a confirmation for my reservation by Booking, I was notified by Marguerite Motel by email the following day that my reservation through Booking was not valid because I used an American Express credit card and the motel does not accept American Express. I had to call the motel directly and give them a Visa credit card number or else they would not hold a room for me. I reserved a deluxe room through Booking and it turned out there was no deluxe room available so I had to settle for a standard room.
