staff are amazing and helpfull.
the location is so scary and not safe at all. venice beach is place for addicts and homless. no family should go there.
very poor service level
overpriced not trained staff one elevetor for more than 200 rooms bad food
Close to Muscle Beach and the Sidewalk market.
Price is very high. They even charged $70 for parking 2 days. And USD 10/day for the wi-fi.
"1 King Room with Ocean View" is "Partial Ocean VIEW", just marketing trick be aware.
Staff were attentive, very prompt, and extremely courteous without being creepy! Loved the decor and our suite was gorgeous. Roof-top bar is wonderful for watching the sun set over Venice Beach. Felt very special.
Noisy, no hot water, expensive, employees can be rude
The view was wonderful - ocean front suite! We had a lovely breeze. The room was spacious and comfortable with microwave, good size mini refrigerator. Loved the happy hour with beer and wine in our room from 4-6! We also received a complimentary bottle of wine from the front desk after a few issues upon arrival. The beds were soft and comfortable.
Our room was not ready upon arrival - we were put off twice. We went to the rooftop bar to wait. The hostess was away from the her station, so we were seated by a waitress, but waited 10 minutes to have our order taken. It was a little frustrating after being put off by the front desk. ***Bright note! The front desk sent a bottle of wine to our room for our inconvenience.*** We slept with the sliding glass doors open for the breeze and suffered through a few drunks leaving the bars in the wee hours.
Location Friendly staff
Coffee machine did not work. Lift was not operating when arrived. Room price
All the stuff was helpful and went beyond expectation. I love the hotel because it's a party hotel @ Roof top. I love how the rooms are Soundproof.
I only stayed for 1 night and I paid about $800 is pretty expensive for a hotel @ Venice beach area
Excessive rates in holidays
I didn't like the patio being over the parking lot. We had to pay an extra $125 to look at a filthy parking lot!!
The location is the best possible. The vibe of the hotel was the right one for me. Most of the staff was amazing, caring and very helpful. The rooms and the beds were great.
A young tall member of the staff was just plain and bland, without any concern for our stay. The breakfast service took to long, most of the time. Though the food was good.
stuff was helpful,good position
noisy place, many homeless, price 500 Usd per night is too much
location soundproof rooms very quiet property despite proximity to beach friendliness of staff friendliness of valet rooftop lounge on-site dining views of the ocean
Overnight parking fees One elevator - busy at check-in/check-out
Staff not helpful and not customer friendly, although prior to arrival, everything was discussed over the phone. Upon arrival nobody knew about it.
Fun place, great location for beach, atmosphere, LA. Good food great terrace Cool place
Nothing not to like
The location, close to the beach and the boardwalk action. Friendly and helpful staff. Seemed to be the only high end hotel in the area. Big room (suite)
The suite has a small kitchen but no plates or tools. The bed sofa is not very comfortable to sleep in, like most sofas. Expensive valet parking, with free parking 2 blocks away.
Excellent location, you can't find better on Venice beach! Very polite, excellent staff!!! 5 thumbs up. Great rooftop restaurant. We also had a wonderful suite with partial ocean view that we liked very much (not as much wind on the balcony if you have a partial view). If I would ever come to LA again I will certainly stay here again. The area will teach you something about tolerance, originality and different lifestyles.
Helpful staff and the beach.
The area, too young and hippy for us
The staff was friendly and knowledgeable.
Ocean view was not great. Slightly dirty, walls, floors. Slightly overpriced.
Great location, friendly staff, very clean.
A nice hotel with friendly staff, right by the ocean in Venice Beach. A great roof terrace bar overlooking the ocean and the sunset. Big rooms and plenty of space
The Roof bar attracted a lot of people and with only one lift we were often in a long line of young party goers ready to get to the roof, which with young kids was not great - some of the language and conversations were not appropriate for the kids to hear. The area of Venice Beach is very nice, but there is a lot of homelessness and it is not very family friendly, that said there is a great play park right on the beach by the hotel which the kids enjoyed. Having a kitchen was great, but there were no utensils - not even a spoon for making coffee, no plates, bowls etc
