Mattress was firm
Bedding was old in terrible condition. No towel bars in bathroom! Cracked sink, NO sterilized glasses! Old chiped glass cups by sink, dingy towels, dirty carpet, etc...keep looking!
Location was perfect on Alameda, located in Marina Village. The current price is great also for the area, and the front desk agents were polite.
The facility is dated. They are in the process of remodeling, which will make a huge difference. Our unit was facing a garbage dumpster, but due the remodel, that may not have been able to be avoided.
The Patio has a beautiful view Of the harbor.
It was near the water and it was quiet
The old heater didnt work that well on 2 rooms
Beautiful location and convenient to grocery shopping, Target, Walgreen's and various fast foods.
Wifi in the room was very weak and often non-existent.
Friendly staff and sufficient continental breakfast. Good location for my trip.
Room needs TLC. Bed was like sleeping on straw, bed sheets on the thread bare side. Window was broken and had a hole in it; hard to control the temperature in the room. The handle of the faucet fell off. New rug and furniture definitely needed.
We were visiting family in Alameda. This is a great place to stay and its location on the marina adds an extra layer of enjoyment.
The breakfast was minimal -- one day there was only oatmeal available, no bagels or Danish.
View of water from deck. Paved hiking trail behind the inn along the water front. The staff was very friendly and very helpful with any request.
My suitcase was too large for the closet so just had to set it on the table. Not the inn's fault but the first night my neighbors woke up arguing at 3 AM. They quieted down as soon as I banged on the wall.
The View Was Beautiful
Needed More In The Breakfast Bar.. Eggs.. Pancakes?
View of the marina, quiet neighborhood, nice having a fridge and microwave in the room as well as a coffeepot. Staff was great to get me what I needed. Everything was neat and clean.
Facilities are a little old so need some repair and upgrading
Having my bag chewed aten and scattered all around my bag. And asking for a refund which they would not give me.
Loved the view of the harbor, the room was comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and I would definitely would stay there again. . Best value in Bay Area.
My wife would have liked to have a bath tub for soaking and the place was older...but a must stay again.
nice environment, relative close location to SF
Very dirty carpet and bedcloathes in the room. There was so called "breakfast", where there was nothing to eat, the teewater was cold, etc. The attitude of employees was very negative.
Location, staff, last 3 days of my stay in this hotel I noticed the improvement of breakfast More choices added such as juice fresh fruit cereal
beautiful, affordable, on harbor
The location was good and the pool looked nice although in late October it was too late to make use of it. Good value for money considering it is in the Bay area.
The rooms could use a refresh - particularly the carpets and paintwork on the doors. We found the pillows a little on the small side but maybe this is usual for the U.S.
Convenient location for San Francisco and Oakland Right next to the marina with lots of bird life Comfortable enough room for the price Free newspapers Basic breakfast is thrown in Outdoor pool if weather allows
horrible blue internal doors Cheap adjustable chairs some of which have broken mechanisms Handle for hot water came away and was still unrepaired tow days later Lady at Reception didn't think to enquire about our stay (two nights then a month later another three) Several holes under external concrete floor slab - animals?
The location is good, near a Marina, Club and shops not far away. Rooms where available even on a public holiday. Now I know why.
The Hotel is run down, the staff showed no people skills, the carpet in my room was dirty, walking barefoot my feet were black a short time after I had a shower and WIFI was only available sometimes for a short time. By world standards ( I travel to many countries on business ) the hotel was not worth $50 a night. I would not recommend it to anyone
Location for what we needed
Rooms are out dated and in need of maintenance inside and out.
Very good for the price hotel is under renovation new owners
The only thing that I didn't like was the cleaning solution used probably for the bathroom was very strong other than that it was a great stay in value for the money Alameda is a lovely spot have a room with a Waterview.
I love the view of the marina. The 7:00A.M to 3:00P.M lady on Wednesday and Thursday was a very pleasant person to talk to. She really seemed to care. She is a really good business person.
We did not care for the lady named Sang. She is not friendly at all and never smiles. She is working for your business without being friendly and you will lose customers.
