The ambience in San Fran is golden like your magnificent briage
Very helpful staff,Very good Food and super free cocktails/drinks in the afternoon.Great location off Union square.
Double bed TOO small.
Close to transit system. Great tradition good food and happy hour.
Very noise from the street slow elevators noise A/C
The included breakfast is fantastic.
The maid service needs work. The bathroom was dirty and had soap with hair on it from the previous guest. The best was very uncomfortable. The price was INSANE the week I checked in and I do not feel it should cost similar to top notch hotels in San Francisco.
Location Happy hour
Dreary decor Some staff lovely others quite dismissive
The staff was friendly, the rooms, although on the smaller side, were very clean, comfortable, quiet and nicely appointed with amenities such as a Keurig coffee maker, fridge, etc. I definitely enjoyed my stay and would recommend it! :)
The one thing I would have appreciated would have been a complimentary bottle of water... That would have been very thoughtful after a day of sightseeing.
Location. Comfortable and clean rooms. Welcoming and helpful staff like Troy. Those omelettes.
Polite, helpful staff in this well appointed hotel contributed to a very comfortable night's stay. The included cocktail & breakfast offering on the 12th floor with a view of San Francisco added both pleasure & value. The halls were filled with interesting military history, honoring our heroes.
Good room, decent size. Very good breakfast included.
Air conditioning very noisy and blew directly on me in bed
1. Ideal location for tourists. 2. Use of a gym within the building. 3. By and large an efficient service provided by staff especially the maids who clean the rooms. 4. Helpful front desk staff. 5. Very good choices in the breakfast menu. Loved the omelette option.
1. No direct access to the gym…cut off by management presumably. 2. Some of the waiters at breakfast were somewhat presumptuous about receiving tips when the quality and efficiency of service was found wanting at times. 3. Quality of the coffee in the restaurant in need of improvement.
Excellent breakfast!!!!!! Best I've ever had for one included in the room rate. Extra bonus - free happy hour on their 12th floor with a view and not just beer and wine. Room was spacious, beds were good. Location very good.
Paying for parking $30 and not right under the hotel (it was up the street).
Easy checking and check out Plenty Amenities
Breakfast! Excellent fresh fruit and made in the moment omelets. My thanks to the omelets chef. Some of the stories about military men displayed were very moving. Loved the detail of having books to read in the bedroom. Complimentary use of laundry machines and necessary products.
Expensive parking (but it's common in San Francisco and it was not the most expensive) Windows in the room weren't totally clean and limited our enjoyment of the skyline view (which was quite nice).
Location and parking
The hotel is ok. The restaurant is not, it pretends to be fine dining but has nothing to do with it. We were first bounced by the host because my 13 year old brother was not wearing a polo shirt and she was really strict about it. So he goes back to the room, changes and finally we are admitted. Took forever before we were greeted by our waiter. Dinner wasn't particularly good, stakes were but the salmon was good. If you bounce me at the door for a polo shirt and you charge those prices, I pretend you really are fine dining which you are not. We order white wine and there is no ice bucket to chill it, no butter knives, staff is passing in front of you to serve the table, no fish knives. You call this fine dining? I don't and I complained to the host and she could not care less and was really nasty, so I went to the front office and asked for the manager who I was told, was unavailable. Bottom line, a big chain of disappointments and they tried to fix it with a cheap bottle of wine. In fine dining that would have been a compt meal and a letter of apologies from the GM.
Location was good. Room was a good size. Bathroom small
Overpriced for non-members
This is not a chain hotel and therefore a great place to stay if you want something a bit different .
Happy hour was a lovely touch. Location couldn't have been better.
Very noisy at night
Great staff, fantastic breakfast. Good location. Good price relative to rest if the city (conferences on) but not good enough given lack of maintenance.
Lots of ambient noise. Air conditioner pump knocked every few minutes whether on or not. Wifi patchy and unreliable.
Location and staff
This place is central and close to almost everyhing and if not the tram stops outside and will probably take you there. The breakfast is lovely and the free happy drinks are wonderful
Nothing - a little dates
Nice location, very helpful staff, nice breakfast
Not very clean, expensive

Nothing we didn't like.
