Location is very good, you just walk out and there it is a city center. Mason street with cable train, state buildings and etc. Staff. They charged our card three times instead of one and hold almost all money we have for remaining period. We asked to call or write to our bank, they do nothing.

The staff was friendly and it was directly across from the conference headquarters which was convenient The hotel was junk. Countless issues: 1) The shower was dangerous - cold and then scalding hot the next second (I exited with red burns) 2) Furniture was old, chipped wood, dented 3) No light in closet (had to use light on cell phone all weekend) 4) Rooms facing the back alley were VERY noisy at night 5) 1 tiny elevator for a 9-story building with multiple rooms and the elevator was BROKEN for 1.5 days of my stay

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Location is good. Neighborhood (if you turn right out of the building) is very "interesting" and potentially confronting - just be aware of what/who is around you! The one lift/elevator. Slows things down only having one lift and it was out of action the morning I checked out, lugging a 50lb suitcase down from the 7th floor.

Smaller, more personal, very nice restaurant on premises. Friendly, helpful staff. Good recommendations regarding restaurants to go to close by. There was someone screaming (angry person), in the middle of the night, which woke me up and was very disconcerting, the first two nights. I couldn't tell where this person was, possibly in the building next door.

We liked the spacious room, with a refrigerator and the size of the bathroom. Quiet, and great location. Disappointed in the selection of television channels. The channels should be more diverse representing the Bay Area.

the front desk was so helpful in getting me a fridge, switching rooms, and printing off a few pages for a presentation the next day. Private feeling. All the amenities I was looking for: exercise room, fridge, wireless, quiet. The street level room was noisy. Sound proof windows may be a good renovation. There was no screen on my room windows. Bugs came in at night. Small elevator.

Second time staying here. Decent room at a decent price in a very good location close to Union square. Fast internet. Decent small gym. Helpful staff. Great breakfast place next door. Nothing. It can be noisy but I was on the 9th floor so it was not at all a problem.

The friendlyness of Joey. The guy that work at the receiption when we checked in was excellent as well as his helpfulness with regard to info about the city and tours we could do. The heating system in our room (702) made a terrible noise. We complained about it and nothing was done or maybe they did do something about it butnit didn't help. We could not sleep for two night because of the noise.

The closet was huge and it was really close to the shopping area. The beds were decently comfortable. The walls are like paper... you can hear everything. It did not seem that clean, the bathroom actually looked pretty dirty and old.

Very friendly staff. The location was good for us because we were going to a concert at the Warfield Theater. It was an easy walk...also good restaurants very close. Extra charge for parking, but well worth it. Park right in front of the hotel, check in and don't worry about your car..when you're ready to leave, call down to the desk and your car in waiting for you right in front of the door. Our room was clean and comfortable..a little warm, we couldn't turn the heat down so we slept with the window open all night. We couldn't turn the heat down so the room was a little warmer than we're use to. After we opened the window we slept good.

The location was perfect and easily accessible to public transportation. The room was comfortable and very clean. The Taylor St. Cafe next door has the absolute best breakfast in town! If you are a light sleeper, you will be troubled by the noise outside and from the adjacent rooms; you can hear "everything". You must be able to deal with the large population of homeless people throughout the city.
