Generally good and friendly service, clean and quiet room with all necessary amenities.
parking quite expensive, unspectacular view on 4 walls of inner courtyard.
Room was clean and the bed was nice. Keurig coffee in the room
Street noise all night. Bring your ear plugs.
Room is clean and well-kept. Comfortable.
Window is not sound proof - noise from the road is a bit too loud for a decent conference call.
The proximity to Union Square, the cable car, hop on hop off buses & Chinatown.
Our room looked out on to a very unappealing brick wall of windows, that looked in to our room, and it also made the room dark.
Clean, city centre location.
Very expensive when parking added on. No pool, gym very small.
The building must be very old, but the lobby and the rooms are all updated. Simple, clean and professional place. Great location near Union Square and just in front of the Hilton.
I couldn't regulate the heat, and it was very hot at night, but the ceiling fan with the window open helped.
Good location, very near transportation. Helpful and nice staff
A little small room and noisy in early morning.
Location in heart of SF, close to cable car, walking distance to Chinatown. Restaurant connected to the hotel is OK but expensive. Lots of restaurant options close by.
Parking is difficult, you are on your own to find a lot in the next block. While we were there, Oracle had a big conference at Hilton on the next block, and the street in front of our hotel was blocked. We had not been informed in advance of this inconvenience by the hotel staff. Any hotel in downtown SF is expensive for what you get, including this one.
Beautiful hotel. Comfortable and quiet. Great location
Wifi never worked. The price of the room for two nights was about $100 more expensive than I would have expected for the room mainly due to the slightly dated bathroom
Good restaurant next door for breakfast. Pleasant staff to include bartender
The size of the elevator and bathroom was "cozy" to say the least. But it was do-able.
Next to rail car. Easy access in and out of hotel.
Location Staff Room Bed Free wifi
Thin walls. But it wasn't too much of a problem. Just one woman felt the need to talk at the top of her voice. I knocked the wall and she shut up!!
Room Size, cleanliness, location to Union Square, economical breakfast option.
Unable to use travel visa card at check out, noise through internal doors, noise from the street, tiny tiny bathroom, expensive for value
very noisy no A/C many homeless folks around outside of hotel bar and restaurant over priced for location
The staff changed rooms for us but reluctantly. The beds were comfortable. They were helpful though.
The elevator was way too small, very tight squeeze for baggage. The original room was too noisy and no curtains so the light shone thru all night. No air conditioner and the fan was pretty useless. Bathroom was worn and the shower poor quality.
Well appointed rooms, boutique feel, small bathrooms, "real"closets, the way the old girl had been made new again. Great location, pretty close to BART. Staff answered my Yelp message right away-bonus points!
A warning message at the reception, that informs about measurable substances in the hotel that are known to case cancer. I would have cancelled everything if I had known this before ...
Good location, most places within walking distance.
Spacious room Good shower Large closet Robes in room
No Kleenex in room! Noisy from street below
I thought the room and the beds were small fir 3 people. The closet / hall in the room had no lighting. The street was quite noisy.
the position of hotelclose to union square and trams to fishermans wharf
when we booked we were not made aware of the homeless shelter and the continuos smell of urine along the side walks outside the hotel
Liked the lay out of the receptionist desk and room decor.
The parking was poor had to call 15 to 30 min for car to go out and same for incoming car parking. Plus had to pay tax for parking. No good.
Location Nice design
Elevator Small and a little uncomfortable bathroom
Location, newly refurbished, good taste decoration, tea/coffee in the room is a plus
A bit overpriced
Location very good and staff friendly.
Rooms very basic.
