Marlowe, a Kimpton Hotel    

Very friendly staff who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was as comfortable as possible. The hotel as well as individual rooms were very nice and in immaculate condition.

Conveniant location in Boston. I would have run if the weather was warmer.

Hard to find. Need a more visible sign with the hotel name and we never saw the street name.

Extraordinarily comfortable beds!

We booked one night there through Booking.com and it was affordable. The second night, through the hotel, was very expensive for us.

Cleanliness; staff @ reception great.

Pillows were huge, not comfy for sleeping.

The facilities were new -- and very nice. Location was great and the mall next door was very convenient

PAPER THIN walls -- we had to change rooms at 3 a.m. -- because of the group next door - it was lke they were in our bathroom I heard their entire ( 2 hours ) conversation.

I love the decor, cleanliness, and friendly staff and that it is connected to a shopping mall, without having to go outside.

It wasn't the greatest location for me. It was a 20 minute walk to the closest T-stop and in cold weather that's too long.

Our stay at the Marlowe Kimpton was nothing short of spectacular. The service was incredible and the hotel is modern but still extremely comfortable. I would absolutely stay there again and will highly recommend it for any friends traveling to Cambridge.

The hotel is a bit off the beaten track, but was perfect for our purposes as our business was at Hult International Business School.

My wife and I stayed at Marlowe for two consecutive weekends. The Hotel was extremely clean and the staff is absolutely top notch. Value for being in downtown Boston was exceptional.

Staff friendly and helpful, printing directions incase gps lost satellite reception . We missed wine hour so we were offered courtesy cocktail cards. The room is very comfortable and attractive from the bed which you sink into to the down pillows. The news paper selection the beverages in lounge area all complimentary make you feel well care for. We intend to stay at Marlowe on future trips.

A little tricky navigating to hotel as you lose gps service under the dig and the roads are confusing once there all problems seem to melt away

Location met my needs. Staff were excellent. Evening social activities were a pleasure.

Room too hot. Feather tick & comforter far too warm & not allergy friendly.

We wished we could stay all days long in our wonderful 2-room suite with king-size bed, view and jacuzzi :).

T-station (metro) to Boston and Cambridge is 15-20 minutes walk away. We mostly took taxi.

everything is perfect except the location, It's kind of far away to the downtown

The conciere made our stay amazing. Finding us places we were looking for. Sending up champagne. Breakfast comps. Answering any and all of our questions. If he didnt know the answers, he called out to get them. Jim/Justin was/were there names. Great experience

We loved it

We stayed here for three nights in October for a city trip. We were quite impressed upon arrival, the service was friendly and the room looked great. The bed was very comfy and the hotel definitely has potential. The staff is very friendly and helped with directions and suggestions. Very good location. The hotel is about a 5min walk from Lechmere station (green line) or 10 mins from Kendall mit station (red line). It's about 2 mins from the CambridgeSide Galleria which has lots of shops and a few restaurants (including the Cheesecake Factory).

The walls are very thin and you can hear everything. We could hear the tv from one neighbour, and dogs barking from the other (I didnt realise this was a pet hotel until after we had checked in). During our first night we tried to sleep early as were jetlagged but the dog kept barking. At around midnight I called reception and they called the owners to come back to get their dog. Who goes out that long anyway and keeps their dog locked up in a hotel?! Reception was very friendly about it, but the walls could be a bit thicker considering most people show up with their pets. The fridge was also very noisy and we had to turn it down to get some sleep. All room 'front' doors open by card and there is no way of quietly closing a door, resulting in lots of door slamming all the time. This could be solved by added a door between the actual door and the sleeping area.

the front desk staff took care of all our needs. We had questions regarding in hotel parking, camera battery chargers, and travel routes for walking the area. We were pleased with all our answers. The staff was knowledgeable of the area and events.

Because we traveled by car and traveled over 500 miles to get to the Marlowe, we had some items that we wanted to place in the refrigerator in our room. Our hotel room refrigerator was so filled with "to purchase" items it was almost impossible to find rod om for our items.

The front desk staff was wonderful in answering any questions we had. We enjoyed the wine hour as well.

The staff is friendly,good sound insulation between rooms.The location is good.After 3 streets are few good restaurants to eat in one delicious fresh oysters.If I went back to Boston,I would stop,in the same hotel!!!

Because it is an animal friendly hotel, there is a sharp odor in the elevators

our experience was Fantastic! the hotel was very comfortable, with an extraordinary decoration and the staff was very very kind and gentle. We use the free bikes provided by the hotel and that helped us to know Boston and Cambridge from bigining to end. You are very lucky of living in such a place…my husband and I "got in love" with the places we knew. The hotel is highly recommended, and be sure we´ll do it to anyone who wants to go there on a trip.

We could walk to subway stations of red line and green line.
