The localization about 50 m from the subway station (red line), the kindness of the staff.

No lift but it's clearly not a big deal because the staff helps you before you ask.

The staffs are good and the location is very good and it is close to the subway and buses stops.

The rooms are small and barely can move.

Subway stop right outside the door. A little further uptown but so easy to get to.

Would have been nice to have tea/coffee facilities in the room...or even in lobby

I loved everything about this hotel. The staff was so helpful and nice. Your right in front of the subway and lots of good food.

No elevator. This is evidently a common thing in new york though.

The neighborhood is hip and not very crowded. Very close to the subway. Great restaurants and other amenities close by. Like Amsterdam, you need to walk up steps, which I don't mind at all. If you need a lift, don't stay at this hotel. The staff is very helpful and friendly. No luxurious amenities here, no pool, but for my daughter and me, it was awesome.

You can hear people walking above when they really stamp around. Getting a top floor room would take care of that. You can also hear the water when they take a shower.

I am amazed by the quality of sleep that I had during the stay. Very good set of pillows. The hotel staff are very helpfull, and helped us a lot in terms of planning our trip while in New York to suit our budget. Close to shops, markets, restaurants and most importantly metro station is only few steps away. I would return to this hotel and recommend to anyone.

No coffee machine available in the room.

The staff at Hotel Marrakech was so friendly and very helpful, especially the doormen---always smiling! The location was very convenient for transport throughout the city and also had plenty of great restaurants and bars within walking distance. There are no elevators, which did not bother us in the least but if you are traveling with someone with mobility problems this may not be a good choice for you. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Marrakech

The only drawbacks to this hotel were that our TV was fuzzy and the AC did not work super well. Also, the beds were fine, but not exceedingly comfortable.

This hotel is a unique experience! It all starts with the stairs up to the lobby and the music which give you the impression that you're entering a night club :-) all staff is highly motivated and always smiling and helpful! The hotel is situated next to Starbuck's Coffee, the next Subway Station is seconds away - therefore highly reccomended for tours downtown on your own!!! Hotel hasn't got an elevator, but the staff helps you with your luggage!

We enjoyed the street view from our windows.. The staff was very accommodating and easy access to subway and good food..will stay there on my next trip to nyc..

Steep stairs with striped carpet made difficult to see with sunglasses...

VERY friendly + helpful staff. Beautifully decorated lobby. Perfect location (10 second walk to subway station- 103rd/Broadway). Free printing of Broadway tickets & boarding passes. No elevators, but friendly staff carried up luggage. Enjoyed our stay! :)

Room was smaller than expected. Had a slightly funky odor when we first walked in, but no real issues. Had a great stay!

Location and stuff are great! Nice atmosphere.

They are not serving breakfast, but that was not a huge problem anyway.

The bar area is very attractive and funky, though there was only ever us two in it! The fire escape made for a very romantic and novel 'balcony option'. We climed through the window, leaving them open to hear music and see better. We ate a take away there under the stars!

Very poor toiletries (only soap and shampoo) No ice machine or fridge (we had to ask for ice each night). Nowhere to hang or put anything in the tiny bathroom, it would be better with just a shower cubicle because there wasnt a plug for the bath anyway. Despite its recent 'makeover' it still looked like they hadnt quite finished the room,as the desk was a bit pointless. Not nearly enough wadrobe space for two people spending 4 nights there. Nowhere to hang anything in the small room, and only a bin in the bathroom. They also forgot our wakeup call on leaving day,and admitted it was their fault! This must be the only premesis in new york which doesnt sell coffee or any food (despite the starbucks next door,it wouldve been nice to have it in the lobby/bar) ! All in all, very overpriced at £110 a night, compared to our time in nashville three nights before our stay here.
