Small rooms, no elevator, poor tv reception, concerned about emergency exits????
The staff was very pleasant.
The plumbing is noisy.
It is close to the Metro and Central Park.
Does not have elevator
It is fancy, good place and good staff
The hotel is really conveniently situated right next to the 103 street subway station where the 1 route will get you downtown in about 20 mins. It's really close to Central Park. The staff are just great. Really friendly and helpful
Too noisy, staff aren't very professional, no lift to access upper rooms.
The plumbing. You hear everything. When people flush their toilets turned on their water to shower etc. That plumbing was soo loud. Major downside
The bed was comfortable. The location was amazing.
There was Nothing i didn't like!
Staff were very helpful and friendly throughout our stay
The hotel was very bad. There was no elevator on it at all and we were on the 3rd floor so we found it difficult to go up and down
My room which is 66 is very noisy, do not know why. The towel is not clean enough, always find hair which does not belong to us after every day change.
Staff treat us like families. Feels good. Trim of room is good too.
The only downsides were that our shower door broke (but it was fixed right away) and that the wifi was rather spotty in the rooms but worked well in the lobby. Also, there was some noise from the traffic on Broadway because our room was next to the street, but it did not keep us awake (and this is Manhattan, what else would you expect?)
The room was comfortable, clean, and reasonably spacious. The staff was really friendly and were happy to follow through with our every request. Also, their is a metro stop right outside the hotel which makes traveling anywhere else super easy.
Disliked nothing about the hotel
Loves everything about our stay, it is literally in front of a subway stop so the location is perfect, the staff could not have been more helpful and were all so friendly, rooms cleaned every day. Would definitely recommend
Cold place. no good isolation in the room
Location and friendly staff
Shower temperature temperamental. Room very warm and couldn't turn heat off
Staff extremely friendly and willing to assist
Local flavors and train stop nearby make this an awesome location.
Room had no natural ventilation
Our room was comfortable and a decent
Old building - bad sound and heat insulation.
Just in front of Metro line "1", the most useful in NYC! Kind staff.
The staff were courteous, and the facilities were clean. The location was also terrific. Right next to a metro line, but with plenty of places to eat and near Central Park too.
Long narrow stairs - NO ELEVATOR!!!
Next to subway.
When the temperature drops the rooms are really cold.
Staff was genuinely nice and helpful and the over all feeling was warm and welcoming. Really good location; close to Central Park with easy Subway access to the rest of the city. If needed the hotel provides a shuttle service to the Airport, which is well worth effort, time and money Highly recommended!
The room was significantly smaller than I expected. The bed took up the majority of the room and then there was maybe a foot of space all around the edge of the bed. The bathroom did not have counter space, and the sink was curved so that nothing could rest upon it. Walls are thin as well; my boyfriend is light sleeper and has trouble since he heard others and their televisions. Wi-Fi was okay, but quite slow.
All the staff was very friendly: always greeted when arriving and departing, and always offered assistance with bags or anything else. Location was very convenient; next door to the 1 train and a couple blocks away from central park! Convenience store across the street and there was a breakfast place down the block where they offer a discount for the hotel's guests as delicious.
We came during a freezing weather period. Nevertheless, they should consider double glazing. You can feel the cold coming through the windows and the noise... well you can think you are in the middle of the street.
Location is perfect ! And the staff is reliable
To many stairs and the lay out is very confusing.
room quality very different from images, more a hostel than a hotel
Super location, staff very friendly
Cold water a couple of mornings.
The friendlies of the staff.
