The staff was friendly and helpful.
The first room I was in was not good at all. Dirty and things that were just not acceptable.
Staff location price
Locatíon Was right next to the metro
The room was too small
Very clean, friendly, stylish
Room on 5th floor, no lift. Tiny room. Heating can't be adjusted or turned off. Tiny window so very little natural light.
The staff: all very nice.
There were problems with heating and hot water. We had two rooms. Our first was on the front and nice, but the heat couldn't be regulated. Too hot. We moved. The second was tiny and dark and required a space heater.
Good location next to subway
The bedsheets were dirty, we found hairs, the bed was very uncomfortable, it had a hole in the middle.
The location was great. The no.1 subway was just across the road. 10-15mins into times square. The bed was really comfortable. Plenty of plug outlets for all electronics. Daily housekeeping but I didn't avail of it.
The walls are paper thin. You can hear very clear conversations in the adjoining rooms. Everything makes a noise. Whether its someone having a shower in another room, doors closing, people in the corridor or someone elses air con. The rooms are extremely warm at night. You cant control the temp so if you put on the air con, it sounds like there is a jackhammer in the room. So then you cant sleep and you are trying to be considerate of other guests that are trying to sleep too so I had to turn it off. I use earplugs when im in hotels now but the earplugs didn't really help this time. I booked a superior Queen and in the picture it looked as if there was a bit of room to move in the room. When I got there, I think I got a deluxe double. There was no room to move. I didn't mind as i was purely there to sleep. I wanted to leave two bags on the last day and I had to pay $4 for them. I tried to strike a deal with the guy as we didn't use the housekeeping services but he wouldn't budge on $4 which I thought was a bit stingey.
Location: Broadway, NY, excellent
Dilapidated, uncomfortable facilities
- the ease and accessibility to everywhere by subway (30 yards from hotel) - the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff - the comfortable bed! - for us a good location
Location. Friendly staff. Decor.
No control over the heating.
The staff was vert helpful and really nice . There is no elevator but they carried out suitcases up and down with a smile . Big thumbs up
Rooms were clean
Walls very then could hear everything going on in next room.
Staff were great and the location was perfect!
Not enough light in the room and no lift
Staff at the marrakech could not do enough for us, really helpful and friendly. We had a large room on the 5th floor #71. Plenty of room for the 3 of us staying, 2 very comfortable double beds, shower was good, no problems with the accommodation. the lounge area was very nice and actually slightly bigger than the hotel pics suggest. Nice to grab a quick drink before you go out. Security is great at the hotel always someone by the door and someone always there to offer to carry your bags.
there is nothing I didn't like about this hotel. We could hear the noise from the road at times during the night, but this is not a hotel issue...NY is the city that doesn't sleep, However this was not a problem. I recommend this hotel
Day staff were very helpful. Close to subway and bus.
Stairs. Late night noise from bar and doors. No elevator.
Location just near the subway
No elevator, poor wi fi, no breakfast, small room no view, too warm with no control of the heater, the list goes on...
Good location seconds away from the subway and one block from Central Park. The beds are nice and soft giving a comfortable nights rest. There's no facilities for food in the hotel bug there are convenien stores everywhere.
My first room was terrible. It was very small, cold and the TV didn't work. It looked nothing like the pictures online. I complained at front desk and they managed to find me a bigger room. The wifi is free but is painfully slow. Took forever to just view pages. I had to go to Starbucks next door to use the internet.
Hotel location for easy access to Metro / Subway and located in a nice area surrounded by many eateries and convenience stores.
I did not like having no working heat in the room - to accommodate, the hotel supplied an electric "space heater". So, I spent the whole night waking up every 30 minutes from listening to the blower/fan on the space heater and the fear that the space-heater was going to fall or burn something and start a fire -- not a pleasant experience. Plus, I had no towels in bathroom and needed to request early morning.
Bar area Helpful staff
You could hear everything going on outside room Should not have chosen smallest room
Location of hotel was perfect for the sites we wanted to visit, just across the street from the subway and there was a Starbucks in the same building!
No elevator, what? True they offered to carry our bags up the 4 flights of stairs... but really...no elevator! Also, there was no way to adjust the steam heat, the room was super hot so we opened the windows and turned on the air conditioner!
The staff was very polite and always asking if they could help. The subway was near, and the jazz club I liked was just across the street. All in all a very pleasant stay.
The WiFi was only available for about a day and a half. Maybe my room, 211, was to far back.
Good location, friendly staff
old tiny room, dingy and looked like it hadn't changed since the 1970s. Wifi and shower did not wok properly. Very poor value- a three star price for a one star room
Located beside a subway station, 10 min to Times Sq on subway. Would take 90 min to walk there but it's a good way to explore the area. Staff friendly and helpful Decor of room nice Room cleaned/ Clean towels daily Close to Amsterdam Ave which has lots of restaurants
