I was there on Mother's Day with my family and the hotel offered us free breakfast. It wasn't anything fantastic, but it was still a nice gesture on their part.

Our rooms were clean and the food was good for breakfast The pool and pool area were not clean. We went down at 6am when pool opened and the floor was all wet, pool was cloudy and there were towels left all over the floor. Kids were in the pool with all sorts of toys and adults had no area to swim and enjoy the pool. In addidtion, there were roaches we could see in the main reception area. I am aware that there probably was some spraying but there was no urgency to have someone go around and sweep up the reamins of these bugs. They were there the 2 days we were their.

The convenience to ISU is great since we have two students attending there. It is nice to have the parking garage and not have to drive really anywhere for things in campus. The restaurant and bar area are nice to have right in the hotel itself and have a very nice and relaxing atmosphere. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The only thing disappointing is that we requested a king size bed well in advance of the reservation and did not get it. The hotel was not that busy really. Why ask for requests and then not fulfill them? Also, have stayed here several times now and don't know why the bathroom sinks in every room are made for tall people! The design could have been better. The sink sits too far back and then there is a towel rack hanging right in the way!
