Distance from Detroit Metro Airport. Shuttle to the airport. THe coffee at the front desk with real cream The noise from the icemaker/pop machine on our floor. The condenser is going bad!!!

Felt safe about leaving my car in the lot while I was gone, plus the transport drivers were very helpful to me as an older female traveling alone. I was satisfied as I usually am with Marriott

The hotel and room were very nice. I had a very late check in and it was handled no problem. The breakfast buffet included in my room rate was fine, lots of fresh fruit, real french toast and three meat selections. Parking was terrible. The hotel is one of those stay and fly operations, so I suspect a lot of cars taking up valuable spots near the building belong to people no longer staying in the hotel. Stay and fly is fine, but those guests should have to park in the convention center lot (where I ended up). Having to walk clear across the property at 1 o'clock in the morning was not an enjoyable experience.

There were problems with the A/C and with the electrical outlets. Maintenance was sent at once and was quite efficient,

Very friendly reception desk staff and shuttle driver. I appreciated that there was a onsite restraurant available after 8pm. I was especially impressed with the layout of the room, where the bed was positioned facing the windows. I was nice break from the routine hotel room layout.

shuttle service is on time, friendly drivers; location is the main reason to stay; rooms appeared to be clean, easy to use wifi service is a benefit to business travelers like myself rooms are small, dark (need better lighting)

Great place to stay near DTW airport for an early morning flight. Free shuttle to airport 24/7 that runs frequently. Happened to miss the shuttle and the driver came back to the hotel to pick me up, even though it wasn't part of his schedule. Couldn't say enough good things about the entire staff! They were excellent. The food - restaurant inside the Marriot was mediocre and a bit pricey for what you get.
