Hotel is in an excellent location with excellent service from hotel staff. Had a wonderful stay.
We loved it all! The ambiance, the room, the view, even the lobby filled with people chatting and laughing! It was a great weekend.
Location to meeting was excellent, my room was comfortable.
Room was nice but there was some loud banging every morning coming from below my room, sounded like construction. The noise started around 6am every morning.
In the pic on line, the rm facing in you could see the sky. We were on a low floor so no sky and the air conditioning was so loud. I asked if we could switch and even though there were rooms I was told Id have to pay $25 more. really? $25
Very friendly staff Excellent location
They charge for 15 dollars for in-room Internet access, who does that in 2014?
Location and Bed.
No king beds, while we did order them. Noise from airco No free wifi (Come on!!! This is 2014) Very noisy, loud lobby
location was great for my conference
internet was slow and spotty.
Good location for a very busy hotel. Staff helpful and friendly. No robes in room and we paid top $$$$.
Excellent hotel, great bar Annabel's just opposite with brilliant food & drinks at reasonable prices
It is quite expensive, but you are sure you will get a quality stay!
the central position, the friendly and helpful staff, the swimming pool, the big room .
the noisy lobby and the decor of the room.
Proximity for sightseeing
Service from the staff.
Value wasn't worth the price.
Staff and location
Small room Uncofortable bed Bas view
My husband and I stayed at The Marriott for our 33rd anniversary. Check in was fast, our room had a great view of the city, and the view in the "View Lounge" was amazing. We always stay at this hotel when visiting the city. It's a bit pricy but well worth it.
The bed - It was like sleeping in a cloud! Great, central location. Right by Union Square. Quiet, big room, & the view (not to be confused the with bar) The View (The Bar) was OUTSTANDING, lovely atmosphere & great food! The on-sire Starbucks was useful
The downstairs bar / resturant (Bin 55) was a bit loud - but again, good food & booze.
Location Starbucks on property Cleanliness Helpful staff
Cost Floor plan for is a maze
We arrived early after a long trip to get to SF and the check in staff were very accommodating
We had an unusual incident where one of our keys to our room didn't work & a guy dressed like a security guard in our hallway took our faulty key. On reflection this seemed unusual & so I mentioned it to the reception who brought in the manager. The key concerns were quickly sorted but I was left with the feeling suspicion was directed at me.
It is dated. The look and feel of the room is just old. It feels like a Marriott Courtyard in a suburb somewhere. Also you can hear everyone slamming doors early in the morning.
Excellent location! Central to just about everywhere we planned to go or easy to get back if we went away from the union square area. Very friendly staff. Concierge gave us loaner umbrellas when it was drizzling outside, as well, which was a first that I've experienced. Will comeback to this hotel when I visit SF!
I love this hotel the moment I walked in, beautiful lobby, the check in was fast. The front desk staff were helpful and very professional. My room was clean, the bed was very comfortable and my view was amazing. The location is perfect. I will definitely stay here again.
There was no iron in my room but then I did not call the front desk.
It's location is great. Very clean and tidy
In this day and age I believe the Internet should be free, not in this hotel. Also 62 dollars a day for car parking is too expensive. A very i personnel hotel, mainly, I think, due to its size. The smiles and talk from the staff are very false and unbelievable.
Location, lovely beds and toiletries
No free wi-fi- practically unheard of nowadays!!
