The room was big and clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
For the money, the view was only fair. The housekeeping staff did well the first day, but after that, soaps were not furnished nor were sufficient number of towels. Coffee packs were not replenished.
Clean rooms on quiet hallways, great location in the city, friendly staff. Nice bar with a great view on top of hotel, Starbucks in lobby.
Non-HD television and the costly wi-fi.
Should have stayed longer
Beds are super confort everything super nice
the restaurant : food very poor compar with the category of the restaurant
Great hotel, centrally located, energetic convention crowd, young and old are enjoying themselves.
It's a maze of a hotel.
The mini-suite was very comfortable. It has a nice sitting area, desk, small refrigerator and small coffee pot. The room was very clean. Annabelle's Bistro is across the street-try their bacon wrapped prawns. They were awesome!
We waited 40 minutes for a taxi the first night-making us quite late for our reservation. The second night we signed up for Uber car service and they were there in five minutes. Amazing! The room was uncomfortably warm. Fortunately, we were in a room where we could open the windows and not have a lot of street noise.
Perfect location for a SF citytrip!
Location, courteous staff, cleanliness, security, comfortable rooms.
Price is slightly steep for average traveler.
This hotel is close to the most important places in SF, excellent BKF and wonderful people working there
Excellent location for Central visits. Great view from room, club lounge good and overall very good attentive staff.
Very busy convention type hotel.
Late night desk staff was very helpful and courteous. Room was very large
Room was on the meeting room floor and hard to find.
Big room Great location
Paid Internet A bit too pricy
View Restaurant on the top
Too pricey and the lobby is like a mad house
The location was distingushed
Not value for the money, old facility
I could not access lobby computer for United Air to print my boarding pass! I was stressed for time, told by staff to go downstairs to the business office, they sent me back up to the lobby for free computer printout. United was not an option. Went back down to the bus ofc and had to pay to print United boarding pass. The extra 1/2 hr when heading to the airport, caused us stress. Get United on! :(
My room was very noisy because it was located close to elevator machinery
The location is great
-most friendly and helpful staff from reception all the way through from booking - arrival and departure- regardless -very centrally located, right around corner of Union Square, China Town, Cable car turnaround Powell/Market -very clean and spacy room (we had corner room with fantastic view towards Union Square and City Hall -great bar on 39 floor with allround view
-wifi only possible with extra pay (even small motels allow free wifi) - parking fee are way to high for hotel guests
My first encounter with the front desk gentleman was so warm, friendly and polite, bought me. I knew I was in the right place .Too bad it was his last day . Everything else was on point. A wee bit busy foyer but that's life in the city. Loved it!!!!!
Good facilities, Congress in same hotel. The congress was enhanced by the layout of the conference facility. Very convenient and staff were efficient.
Food options for lunch were not very good. Starbucks was closed too early and not enough options. They should fix this or get another coffee shop. Should have had more coffee stations downstairs during the Congress.
The room was large and comfortable. Free internet with my Marriott rewards. Cordial staff
only given two bath towels for two people, and we didn't get a robe. I don't know how you shower and wash your hair and are comfortable with only one towel.
Value was good, San Fran still expensive... Location wasn't as nice as fisherman's wharf location but $100/night = easy cab ride service and staff and cleanliness was top notch
A/c fixes worked for only a few hours, was hot enough to be sweaty and not great night sleeping.
-The view from my room was amazing -The room was excellent - clean, big and spacious -Bathroom was cleaned every day (also, it was amazing in size and comfort) -The concierge staff were very friendly as were the check in staff -The location was great! You could walk downtown, union square, Chinatown, union street (a lot of shopping) in under 20 minutes. Whether you want to take the hop on hop off bus (recommended for two days), the walk is not far. However, if you're budget travelling, the bus service around the location is excellent. -Housekeeping was very understanding when I wanted extra time and very polite -Make sure you plan your trip ahead though - SF can get VERY confusing and if you're constantly on your phone for maps, then your battery will deplete very fast.
-If you order room service the price will almost double - there is a service charge added, a delivery charge added and tax added which brings the total up to a lot - $4 for two stamps. Just go to a local kiosk - The room price on booking.com is not including the tax - so don't have a coronary when you see the bill total
