Marriott Newark International Airport Hotel  

Location was good. Common areas are nice. Restaurant was very good especially for kids.

Getting a little dated. Room was ok. Carpets were a little dirt and rooms are small. Needs a price reduction to reflect the age of be hotel and the size of the rooms.

The location and the breakfast were excellent.

Staff completely failed to assist when we worked on to receive a lost suitcase from the airline before our continued travel. The staff ignored all our information provided and even refused to accept to receive the actual bag when it was delivered to the hotel. We had to get up in the middle of the night (2 am) to wait for our suitcase. When the suitcase arrived we did find out that the hotel staff had lied to us and obviously did not care at all!

I had a meal in the restaurant which was absolutely horrible , rib eye and baked potato, the meat was not cooked well at all and didn't look appealing plus too grisly to cut or eat and the baked potato was very undercooked , I explained and was offered a pathetic 20 percent discount which I thought was embarrassing at the least for a hotel that offers 4 star accommodation, for that reason alone I would not feel comfortable using or recommending a Marriot hotel to anybody !! Did not appreciate the hotel staff after midnight being rude and raising her voice when I asked a simple question. If your not happy working somewhere I would think you should consider another line of work. Excessive noise from construction adjacent my suite.

A great place to stay if you have a stop over at Newark. It's the only hotel on airport and it has a good shuttle.

It was very close to the airport making it easy to make the early flight home, there were two double beds in the room and it was very quiet even though it was close to the airport. One point to mention it is possible to walk to terminal b from the airport you just have to navigate a couple of roads. The bar is nice and the food ok.

Small bathroom especially when two are staying. There were two double beds in our room so for a family of four it would be a very small bathroom.

The fan in the room for the heating circulation was so loud it kept me awake all night.

I stayed only for six hours at the hotel, coming from Princeton and going to Miami, but I want to come back soon. It was nice and comfortable!

Clean & very comfortable. The keyed entry to elevators added the extra security.

Too far from Ney York city - no shuttle bus available.

We always stay at the Marriott EWR when we have an early flight. It is quiet and large enough to offer different dining options. The rooms are well appointed, helpful staff. Frequent shuttle to terminals.
