Cleanliness, manicured grounds, very well organized checking in and out, availability of showers and lockers for those who need to stay a bit longer after checking out, pleasant staff, plenty of beach towels, well-kept surroundings and approach road.

Poorly located garbage processing area resulting in loud noise for many, if not all units (they do refrain from starting too early, though); tiny balconies for studio units; limited shade around pools and on the beach for so many guests; excessive prices for food of normal quality in the two restaurants and the convenience shop

Everything, in our twelve years of living in Hawaii, we have done mini-stay vacations all over the islands, have stayed at many luxurious resorts but who knew that practically in our own back yard was the best place to stay not only for value but the accommodations, location, restaurants, staff and amenities!

There was nothing we didn't like!

I loved the hotel and location. I would come back for sure.

The size of the room is small and the bathrooms are too.

Family friendly option for kids with different pools etc

Pretty built up area. Would not suit someone who is looking for something more "remote"

Mostly, we truly appreciated that you considered our family visit and booked our son, wife and children in adjoining room with interior access. Additionally, we were pleased at the amenities included in the 'full' kitchen in each room.

    We didn't like leaving!

Room was huge, staff were numerous and friendly, plenty of activities at the resort, good restaurant at the resort, couple of very good restaurants just across the street, very peaceful late at night.

Very nice grounds. Courteous, helpful staff.

Room was crowded. No desk or extra chair. Narrow balcony. Noisy group next door; loud talking beyond 11 pm could be heard through the connecting door. Front desk understaffed at times.

The pools was nice and my kids was really happy they enjoyed them-selves. Overall room was comfortable. Facility nice and staff was helpful.

I didn't like that I paid for ocean view and we got the over hang of the lanai you couldn't see any view because the coconut trees was blocking the view. Before we got to the room they didn't say anything so we walked back down to ask if we could get an adjustment rate they said OK but we had to wait so we went back to our room and came back later. Check in to a long time it was at 4:00 but only half of our room was ready. THE GUY AT THE FRONT DESK WAS REALLY NICE HE GAVE MY CHILDREN FREE SHAVE ICE WHAT EVER THEY WANTED FULLY LOADED.

    Food and drink. Relaxing location.

Cost of food and drink and the tip expectations. After answering a simple question they would look at you like ok now where's my money. The food was good but $100 seemed necessary for every meal. And that was for only two people. Those there with a family would have to take a second mortgage to afford the trip. There wasn't anything there that was affordable to everyday people. Also I thought there should have been a drink service on the beach. Relax in chair and not have to hunt down a cocktail.

size of rooms was great and nice facilities, the pools especially.

The man made bay was too protected and ocean water couldn't circulate. It was murky, too warm, had no wave action at all and also a bit smelly. Chuck's food was sub-par, except for salad bar which was good.
