Location and staff
lack of toiletries and size of room based on cost of room
The staff was very helpfull for my one night stay, mwhere to go and what to see.
When calling about the airport travelling the person on the phone did not know about the different transportations available.
The location is great, but over $400 a day is too much money!
I came with my brother and had confirmed reservations for two beds in the room and not 1 king bed. I had to sleep on a roll-a-way bed for the first night and then transfer to a new room the next day.
Pretty close to everything you want to do in San Francisco: Sightseeing bus, Aquarium, Boat trips, Alcatraz and cable cars.
A bit too pricey and yet internet is not for free.
Location was excellent. Everything was within walking distance or taking transit. Great friendly helpful staff. Room was adequate for our stay. Loved the berry flavored water station.
Expensive valet parking but it's the going rate for the area. More people at the check in and check out counter. Was kept waiting 10+ mins. and again at check out.
Location , and the staff
For the cost of the room I feel parking , wifi , should be included like most of the other hotels in the area and your breakfast should either be included or discounted I would probably stay again but it won't be my first choice
The staff at this hotel was great! Anything you needed they were on it. I would stay here again and the location was perfect!
Bathroom too small for a Junior Suite
The location was excellent and so was the staff.
The hotel was way over priced for a basic room. The hotel carpet was not clean and there was no robes in the room. I paid for a view of the court yard, only to get a corner snap shot of a tree.
I lost my wallet while staying in San Fran on my last trip. The hotel reviewed video from when I arrived late the evening that I lost it and were able to give me the name and phone number of the cab I used, as well as the car number. It was instrumental in helping me find my wallet as I was the last run for this driver that evening. Seems my wallet fell out of my purse into the back seat of the car! Nice to have the assistance and to see an honest cab driver in the city! I would definitely stay here again.
Excellent customer service! Thank you Amy (General Manager), Willie (Operations Manager), Samantha (Front Desk), and our housekeeping maids who made up our room every day. Our maids left "thank-you" notes every day, thanking us for tipping them! What a nice touch! I have never experienced that before in Hawaii or anywhere else in the USA (they do that in Cancun, Mexico). We also loved the comfort and very clean (white) linens, pillows, and duvets of the beds! Loved the Seattle's Best Coffee available every morning in the lobby!! The numerous lamps with electrical outlets were so handy for all of our electronic devices!
Include a microwave and more robes in the room, as well as free wi-fi. For the price, a breakfast buffet should be included. (Other hotels in the area include a free buffet every morning for its guests.) Also, room amenities such as bath gel, shower caps, etc., should be replenished daily. Also, the tiny bottles were not enough for our party of 3.
Quietness Fantastic beds and pillows Very pleasant staff and friendly housekeepers Bathrooms Furnishings
A very helpful & friendly staff with great location
we booked two queen beds and were given one king. We have 3 small kids and two adults so they rolled in a fold up bed. I have seen better mattresses in a back alley. My box spring is more comfortable. There were literally springs popping up. The front desk staff were minimally sympathetic. The location of the place is very close to the warf, and with small kids, this was key. Definitely won't stay here again.
We liked the location, and staff.
I booked room with two beds and was given room with one bed, and had to take a roll out bed. Then in the morning, there were not enough towels for three. Also, at this rate for hotel, internet should be free. And, 18.99 for a movie on direct tv is criminal!
No free internet Expensive parking
Late night check in & the front desk staff was not friendly. Bathroom too small
Comfy bed. Good location for where we needed to be. Friendly staff. Valets were kind enough to let us keep our car there for a few hours extra without charge as we had some spare time between checkout and our flight out of SFO.
Parking is quite expensive when you are paying it on top of the hotel room, taxes, etc.
Staff and location was great, free coffee in the morning, quiet rooms.
Valet parking was very expensive.
It was quiet
I liked everything
Coffee machine in the room
Free internet only in thé looby. Expensive room rate with no extra facilities. The car parking fees is too exoensivec we paid 57 dollar per day with tax.
Super friendly staff, great location
The staff was very friendly and seemed eager to help. Our accommodations were excellent. The location was ideal. My grown granddaughter and I had a wonderful time - our first stay in San Francisco!
Of course, I would have loved it even better if the cost was less, but I do understand the cost in San Francisco is more than I usually pay.
We had our two dogs with us and it was great, large room, quiet, the staff was so helpful!
Had to pay for parking. The room rates being upper level I feel parking should be complimentary .
It was a great location, within walking distance of a Starbucks, bakery, Walgreens and great Thai place (ask the concierge). Do not eat in the hotel restaurant, prices are exorbitant ($18 for a slice of French toast!!) We rented the Junior Suite, which was perfect since we were travelling with a teenager, although it is not really a suite, it's just a larger hotel room with a pullout sofa. The staff was very attentive, they brought my son an extra blanket without being asked and when our blowdryer broke, we had a new one within three minutes. The concierges were knowledgeable and helpful. Great hotel for the price.
Parking was $50 a day. Be sure to budget for the massive San Fran taxes. There are no rooms with water views.
