Score from 2 reviews Wonderful
Good hotel. Really good pool, good restaurant.
Friendly staff at check in, great bar and pool side service. Paid flat fee for all you can use beach equipment which was great.
We were put in a room on Level 2 which faced a tree and blocked a fair bit of our view into the water. (Paid for a waterview room). Only one bar and restaurant.
The room was clean and comfortable. If you're driving around, the location is good if you wanna go to Kiholo bay. But far from nightlife. The swimming pool area is really nice (but crowded).
Bad wifi signal The resort tax includes wifi, parking and a welcome drink. I don't think it was worthed. There's no beach service (umbrellas, for example).
It was our "great end" of a 5 weeks trip so we wanted something nice. The hotel is nice, perfect location, awesome beach, nice food... But our final bild (with just the breakfast like extras) was the double of the price that it's on booking. We thing that all this coast is amazing but you should count that all this resorts finally are MORE expensive than the offer price. Anyway we had a very good time there
Final price would be the double because of "extra concepts" (25$ breakfast, 25$ resort concept, parking place, taxes...).
Beautiful view from the lounge lobby, great lagoon & beach, nice infinity pool, very relaxing
Nice pool area and beach. Friendly staff. Free Wi-Fi. 30 minutes free international calls per day.
Poor food quality and over priced in house restaurant.
Waikoloa Marriott was very nice -- comfortable rooms, nice facilities, beautiful pools.
Hotel enmities; the infinity pool, the whirlpools, the spa & the beach.
Location - pools - beach - room
Despite extra daily charge for parking and internet, wifi is not working from the room (called support 4 times but got no reply at all..) - elevators were very slow and out of office for hours creating a big mess - there is only one watersports company and no special options (was up to us to book our tour with a very small and nice diving/snorkelling company)
The location and quietness and the laid back atmosphere. True island getaway.
The front desk and management seem to need a few brush up course with hospitality and leaving a lasting impression. Positive impressions are am what is needed.
Absolutely fabulous place. Really recommend it.
Turtles on the beach
great location, friendly staff, pools and the beach were also in very good conditions and cleanliness. Loved the facilities around the resort.
elevators were out of order a few times
It is close to the airport. Good breakfast They helped us with a room after check out to take a shower and be able to stay longer
very far from Kilauea There was not many options of places to rest protected from the sun. We would have payed for a space but very few were provided.
Part of the Waikoloa area, which is a big complex of hotels, shops, golf courses, etc. Preferred mostly by families
Grounds were beautiful. Easy access to the beach.
Poor quality workout facilities.
Great location, fantastic beach with snorkelling reefs just off shore, very good concierge service
Food was not up to scratch for a Marriott. Luckily there are other options not too far away.
Lovely beach front setting, Lovely pool and interesting ancient fish ponds
Not enough sun umbrellas around pool and having to pay $50 for a cabana was ridiculous
Location, pools, price point, wifi speed, beds, amenities.
Lack of umbrellas at pool.
The location, easy access and beautiful place to stay, almost a paradise The swimming pools and facilities associated The kindness and devotion of the staff
Every extra becomes rapidly very expensive
Next to beautiful beach
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Pool area is great.
The resort needs a major upgrade. It's just outdated. Rooms are small. Internet connection frequently dropped off, also they charged $19 per day. Valet parking $21. In general far too expensive for what they offer.
It was clean. From our ocean view room we could see the luau! The pool area was fun and the beach was pretty. Everyone on their staff was very friendly.
The first room we were assigned to was described as ocean view but you literally had to lean over the balcony to see it. They were prompt about changing our room when we asked.
