San Francisco Airport Marriott Waterfront  

Very convenient for Airport with great views of the bay

Rather expensive, not many facilities e.g. no safe or fridge in room, internet $12.95 per day, although worked well. As to be expected from an airport hotel, not much within walking distance.

Staff were very polite and efficient. The hotel itself is well positioned for a self contained event but I am not sure how it would be if you had to go out during the day or evening. There was a cortesy bus which took you to the main local shopping area. I found this part of Burlingame very relaxing, with a good supply of resuatrants and cafes. There was an airport shuttle which could also be used to access the BART - then it was only 30 mins into the San Francisco CBD. Very convenient and concierge pointed this out to me with printed instructions of where to go. Food was of good quality and service excellent.

There is a 20% service charge on room service + 9 1/2% Gov tax. That means every price you see has to have about 1/3 added to it. That is a bit steep to my way of thinking. Of course they do say that it is "added for your convenience" so, theoretically, you can reduce it but I wonder what the service would be like it you did. The do not disturb sign on the door does not stop them phoning to check if you want your room made up. This is something which I think is intrusive. I know they will say that people forget to take the sign off and then complain that their room wasn't made up - but that's tough - guests are respnsible for that. After 20 hours of flying I wanted to sleep and did not appreciate being woken up. When I did have my room made up, they did not replenish the coffee etc. but I did get some from the maids when they were in the corridor. Complimentary bottled water is the norm in most hotels around the world but $3.50 for a litre was not cheap. AT $270 ++ a night it is hardly a budget hotel. So charging for internet access was OTT.

Was very comfortable and quiet! Room service was so quick...!!! Friendly staff.....I made an ahead request for extra pillows and they were there!!!! Will stay there again.....!

One suggestion....bathrobes....I normally stay in hotels that have them so I didn't bring mine....also the Sunday after the Niner game at around 11:30am the bar wasn't open.....could have spent some more money!!!!

The room smelled bad. Not enough towels. No bath soap, just hand soap. Extra $20 charge for parking.

I think if I pay 289$ per night I should get free parking, not for additional 20$/night price. Breakfast was good, but small choise, mainly different omelets only. Rooms like too small for such price.

It was a nice hotel, close to the airport and Bart Line. The main lobby and bar was pleasant and the service there was good. The restaurant was very nice, although a bit pricy, and the food was good. The room was very comfortable and the express check-out worked well.

It would be nice to not have to pay for wifi.

Many things that I get free at other Hotels I had to pay extra for at Marriott. I enjoy free breakfasts, Newspapers and free parking. None of which is supplied at the Marriott.

Very comfortable beds

The additional cost to get a "waterfront view" had me looking out at the parking lot. I would not recommend spending the additional funds on this upgrade.

Lokace hotelu je trochu mimo SF = delší cestování z hotelu do centra (shuttle + metro min ~ 1hod.)

I booked this hotel through booking. Com According to the summary, breakfast was supposed to be included in the hotel charges. Next morning , when I ckecked out, I realized they charged breakfast. I explained and complained. But they kept saying that breakfast is not included. At that time, I could not show my booking summary , because I did not have any printout about booking summary. So I got out hotel. I want my money back of $49.80 asap . Thank you

Convenience. Good pool & spa.

No wifi in room; for the cost of the room (>$200/night); in-room wifi is basic. Overpriced for what is on offer. Definitely wouldn't stay here again, unless there was a really good offer.
