Great location. Very cool hotel, good design, hip ambience.
Noise from the street
Great location. Friendly staff
The bed was uncomfortable and the room very small.
The restaurant, pizza is the best in NY but book as even as a hotel guest we had to wait for an hour for a table.
Love the location, room, value , nice staff and the Marta!
Room was little, A lot of noise (from air conditioning and from outside aisle because the door wasn't insulated well) in my room and they didn't changed me the room.
Restaurant, Design of the hotel, shower works fine,
In comparison with European hotels this is under the average quality/price for a 4 star hotel.
Really cool &sleek place. The room facilities were comfortable and modern. Don't understand other people complains. The space & staff were very adequate. Our one night stand was very satisfying!!
Room is quite small even for Manhattan, breakfast is too costy (you can find much better variety for less in many fine locations nearby). Soundproofing is almost absent: you hear everything from the 29th street as well as your neighbours.
Very good location, friendly and attentive stuff, clean room. Madisson Square Park and Empire State Building are just 3-5 minutes away. Restaurant on the ground floor is fine.
Rooms need more soundproofing. We were on the 8th floor facing the 29th St, and the horns/sirens etc. kept us up late on a Saturday night. Travelers should bring ear plugs at a minimum.
Great location, great comfort for v. low price. Maybe they had a special that week.
Room was tiny. You have to squeeze yourself between bed and wall to get to bathroom or exit
Bed is really comfortable
Thank you Sam and Almira (reception desk) for your help with everything
The Heater/AC must have been from last century. It made an offensive sound and made it hard to keep it on even despite the cold. Also, because of a pizza restaurant at the ground level, the whole lobby area smelled of barbecue sauce.
It was in a superb location: very cute and recently renovated.
The room was bite to small for Queens room. There short on towel and rages
I like the location and lounge and restruant at the hotel nice and food good.
The room was extremely hot, so much so that I had to turn the ac on. The ac was quite loud.
Great space and location.
WIFI is spotty at best
Great value. Nice size rooms considering NYC. Friendly staff.
throom. Room was a BIT small but no problem. Very good ba
Quiet well-appointed room
I was irritated that I was charged $50 a night for complimentary junk food that I didn't request or need. Because my card was charged this money, I wasn't able to adequately tip the waiter when eating out at night. Also, I could hear fighting outside on the street that night. I will never stay there again.
It was perfect, cleanliness, hospitable, comfort, location
First class experience whole Hotel amazing , rooms fantastic will stay here again and have already recommended to family and friends. Sam was very helpful during our stay.
I loved the small room, but the extra small European sink in the bathroom was way too small. A small half circle sink would have worked in that small space.
I was in NY on business. I also wanted to be near my nephew. I booked the Martha Washington for two reasons, it was convenient to family and business and the price was right. The photos on Booking intrigued me enough to try it.
The Heat was loud and bathroom was too small.
The size of the bed
Room was super small. Had to have window open b/c heat was too high and only alternative was to put on AC (in the middle of winter!) which was very noisy.
Cute decor. Nice staff. Good restaurant.
No free wifi for the price of the room
I just had a problem with the AC, but solved next day moving to another room.
Very cosy and a very New Yorker hotel. Nice, simple and comfortable rooms. Professional staff. Very popular and good Italian restaurant just at the lobby floor. The location is perfect close to many attractions and easy to reach.
Nothing major. The odd functional lapse, eg wake up calls never happened 2 days running.
Very comfortable room at good out of season price. Very good restaurant - great pizzas. Hotel staff great at a personal, human level
